Well i am finally home from the picnics--we ended up going to three of the seven we were invited too--what a long day!
The last one we went to is for a friend of the family. He is leaving for Iraq on Monday --itw as a nice get together and i was happy to see him before he leaves..

so now, here i am!

Theresa - I'm sorry about the car + pillar incident! Is the damage so significant that you HAVE to fix it? At least he didn't get a ticket in the mail for his tushy hanging in the intersection after the light turned red. DH was taking my car somewhere a couple of years ago and backed into a truck. In our OWN apartment parking lot where we had been living for about 5 years! I think there is some rule about being knocked back every time you start to make a little progress. Susan and I had that exact conversation last week.

Ooh I'm up late. John was sick today, so we have been up since 2:30 (fitfull sleep) getting out of bed at 7:30. Seems as though I got my second wind, however I am headed to bed.

well Abi has been wishing and praying and hoping for a ferret for a pet for almost a year. Guess what we have on our porch right now?? Yup...a ferret. This poor thing was obviously somebody's pet and I am hoping they are looking for it....otherwise I am going to be upset. I hate that some people just drop their animals off anywhere because the novelty has worn off.

yup...he took a back light out and crumpled the drivers side back panel in a way that we are looking at it rusting quickly. But we have a low deductible for just this reason...but really don't have the deductible laying around.

Debbie, that T-shirt design is so cute!! I guess we should make up our minds about shirts since it will take me the entire 40 days before the trip to sort out if I want to try to make them or just go have them made! By the time I buy shirts and transfer paper and mess up a few times I'd be better off to have them done at the mall!

I think there is a number to call for Coral Reef once you have your ADR. You leave a message and the lady will call or e-mail you back. I had IPO do ours so I don't have any of the info. There is a big thread on the Restaurants board about it, though.

depends on who is modeling them....

The kids are at my parent's and I think that Mom and Dad are ready for vacation too. Chris and I watched 27 dresses, I liked it and he didn't say much I did make a crock pot dessert that was yummy so he was happy about that.

Chris and my brother are going to cut some trees down tomorrow as they want to start cutting the wood that we will need for this winters heating. The sooner the trees are cut the dryer the wood will be. I'm praying that they don't get injured, They never have, but with vacation this close I can't help but worry.

What kind of dessert did you make? Crockpot meals are about to become our best resource, and I don't know that I make any desserts in them...

So I didn't wake anybody up...but I putzed in our little garden...somebody smashed down our garden a couple of weeks ago so we have nothing right now but our first strawberries

We then ran and got a birthday present and Jim went to talk to Taco Bell manager about knocking some of his hours as they are overworking him there.
Next was going to my office and picking up the recycling containers where Jim backed up into what can be best described as a pillar . We so didn't need to have to pay the deductible on this!! Espescially since I know at least 5 other cars have backed up into this deceptive spot and the Board of Trustees has been repeatedly asked to put some sort of warning there.

Called our agent (love our State Farm lady) and headed to the party and then home so Cassidy could babysit the same little guy Abi had her first paying job babysitting last night....my babies are growing up

I swear it's baby steps forward and then we get smacked back.

Good morning.

This itching has subsided considerably. It's still there but not nearly as bad. One of the meds they gave me completely knocks me out though. Yesterday I came home and took one at 2, slept from 4-6. Took another at 8 and slept from 9 last night until 10 this morning. Now I just took another so I am expecting to go back to bed soon.

I enjoyed National Treasure 2 but it was entirely to unrealistic for me. I didn't see any of Fool's Gold (slept through that one).

I accidentally locked my cell phone and can't figure out how to unlock it. I've tried all the standard 0000, 9999, 1234 but nothing works.

Debbie - the tshirt design is really cute, however I think I have resigned myself to the fact that I won't be making tshirts for our trips again unless it is for MVMCP or MNSSHP. I just have too many of them cluttering up my drawers that I never wear again. I'm not really a tshirt kind of person. I don't think I could stand the heat of wearing a tshirt in August anyway. Sorry to be the dissenter of the group!
