We've never done Le Cellier. I wonder if we should see if they have any ADRs available while we are there Do you think it would be worth it for us?

I was going to say that ther was nothing available during our Novembeer stay when I called, but I see you already called.

Anne Marie - I'm glad to see that Katie was feeling well enough for rehearsal, I've spent many hours watching dance rehearsals and competitions, my oldest DD teaches a tumbling class at a dance studio now so she got to know the other side of Recitals this year, she was one of the ones who stood in the wings and did the "babies" dances with them. Katie is a beautiful girl.
We leave on the 16th in August also.

Elizabeth - glad you made it there safely.

Deb - Glad you finally got the shirt to work. I used the stretchable iron ons for our cruise shirts, they came out good and felt great, but when I washed them afterwards they really faded. Sounds like your really making some great progress, you'll be there before you know it. Wave as you pass my way!

Mom is running a fever of 101.5 now. She claims it is because she hasn't had any pain meds since 7 AM, and that if she had been taking them as scheduled she wouldn't have a fever. She has those Tylenol 3 things with codeine, which would also reduce any fever. I am not very happy with that explanation. Her discharge papers say to call for fever over 100. I told her if she continues to be feverish we are going to call the surgeon's office or the hospital.

DH called earlier to tell me I got a ticket in the mail for running a red light a couple of weeks ago. $75 fine. I don't run red lights! It was when I was coming back from the salon. There is an intersection where there are 2 lights really close together. If the back one turns green before the front one you end up in the intersection, and apparently when the back one turned red my bumper was still in the intersection. It is a very congested area. (NW Hwy & the Tollway, for Marci & Lindsay.) So I didn't "run" the light in the sense of driving through it after it changed. I would have been at a dead STOP when it turned red. Red light cameras suck.

So there you have it!

Has anyone besides Jen cruised Royal Caribbean? Is there somewhere cheaper to book? John and I are looking at a 6 night Western for my 40th birthday in March. It's on the new (1 year old) Independence of the Seas. Chanon, do you get any extra perks for booking through AAA? If so, I'll send you the details.

Elizabeth, you need to call the doctor if her fever is 101.5. Does she have any redness near the incision site or drainage? Keep me posted!

Karen, your dad is in my prayers for his surgery!

Anne Marie and everyone planning trips, you are making me very jealous. You'll have so much fun.

Deb, we had split reservations in April/May, and they sat us together with no questions. I don't think they wanted 3 kids at a table by themselves.

We had to cancel December, but hopefully we'll go in April again before my AP expires. But I am really looking forward to our 1st cruise!

Elizabeth, call the doctor. My mom had very strict orders if she had any degree of fever. She also wound up back in the hospital twice for fever, the second time because they released her too soon the first time.

As for us, we got home yesterday around 11:30am, and only that late because we took our time. We didn't turn the computers on once, because having these girls here (especially after sitting around staring at empty baby stuff for 10+ weeks) is way more fun. No offense!

I'm REALLY hoping to get pictures started today, because I think it will be a several day project. I think a lot of things will have to wait until Kyle goes back to work though. Spending a fake paternity leave (4 measly days) in the hospital just isn't fair, so we're really feeling the crunch on our time before we don't have as much of it!

Peds appointment today, but I'll try to update more eventually. Everyone is doing well, the dog is fascinated with the girls and not at all phased by them, they continue to do well. I slept so well last night a) not pregnant and b) not in the worst hospital bed ever. I'm feeling pretty good, although nobody warned me about the post c-section swelling that is exponentially worse with multiples. I was so skinny after delivering, and I have gained about 8 pounds of fluid.... all in my legs. Yes, the entire length of my legs. It's so bizarre, and I also am shocked at how bad edema can hurt! It's making the surgery stuff (incision, uterine incision which I swear I can feel better than the skin incision!) worse, since I'm stretching out some, but we're getting through just fine. I continue to be up as much as possible, without making the swelling unbearable. In general, I can't remember whe n I felt so good!

I'll talk to you more soon, especially once it's just us girls here and they mostly just sleep! You know, when I'm not just watching them!

We had a great time at Cedar Point. Leighanna loved it. I took some pictures and will try to upload them later today! Right now I need some sleep. I am feeling my age. I just can't bounce back as quickly as I used to!

Jennifer, glad to hear that you are home with the girls! Enjoy your sweet little princesses!
I remember just looking at Leighanna when she slept. Those were some of my most happy and memorable moments of being a new Dad! Can't wait to see new pictures!

Mom says her fever has resolved. We'll see how she feels later this morning. Better to address it TODAY than going into the weekend when we won't be able to get ahold of anyone.

Denise - She still has a drain in the wound so there is fluid draining continuously. She said the incisions aren't red or hot or anything. She keeps arguing that she wouldn't have had a fever if she had been taking her meds on a regular schedule. Well, the meds would have masked the fever. I may call the surgeon's office when they open just to get their take on it. I also want some directions on what to do if the fever spikes over the weekend.

Good morning!

Sorry Deb, yesterday was not a good day to have a baby, at least not for me!

Instead, we had swim lessons, followed by a 3 hour playdate at Chuck E. Cheese. No cicadas IN there!

More swim lessons today, followed by the park and more swim time.

I have a bunch of errands to run this weekend, my niece's birthday party tomorrow night, and VBS kicks off on Sunday evening. Perhaps, I'll finally get my hospital bag packed, too.

Lots of for you all, along with continued prayers for everyone in "limbo" right now (Elizabeth, Theresa, Jen, Denise, Karen...)

Looking forward to seeing some pictures from Jen, Tom, Elin, and Tammi...

Which reminds me, loved the pictures you posted, Terry and the picture of Katie is beautiful, Anne-Marie!

Sophie had her dance rehearsal last night. This is her 4th year at dance.
This weekend will be all recitals. The girls perform in multiple shows so it will be busy but they love it. I have to order their bouquets today.
