Deb - sorry about the tshirt mishaps last night.

Jennifer - how are the babies doing? How do you feel? Are you getting around yet? I know when I had my c-sections, I think it really helped with recovery by getting up and moving. Are you ALL going home tomorrow?

Good morning! :)

It is beautiful here! Low 80s, no humidity.

I'm coming up with a plan for today. I need to go out into my garage which has become our trip staging area. I have lots of Decorations for our campsite and our golf cart for the 4th. I want to make sure that all the lights work etc. I also need to clean up my Mickey and Minnie lampposts as spiders like to call them home and I do not plan to bring VT spiders all the way to Florida in my camper  I need to plug in our dorm fridge and make sure that it works. We find that having a little fridge full of drinks really helps free up the camper fridge for important things like food. I also need to hit Staples or Walmart for ink and transfer paper as I want that project off my to do list.

Tonight I have a new car seminar for the truck. Chris is instructing it so I couldn't resist. I might be the heckler in the crowd :rolleyes1 Anyone got any good or challenging questions for me to pose to the technician ie Chris? Come on people we need some real stumpers:idea:

We had a lot of levies break, so it may be a few days.

Thankfully my ear is not hurting as much, but my throat is still sore. I'm sure once the antibiotics get in my system I will be better in no time!

Janet,
Hope your water is now safe to drink & your feeling much better.

No Dings yet.

I noticed that too. Not that I need one, but I am curious.

Last night Chris and I were working on coming up with Stroller bag plans. I feel like we may be forgetting something important. This is what we've come up with so far...what am I missing?

We will have 2 wheelchairs so we have room for bags and no one will have to carry much.

each chair has a sun canopy and rain cover which we will probably leave on
Rain ponchos/jackets
First Aid kit
hand sanitizer
baby wipes (for hands/messes)
hiney wipes (Colby couldn't possible go without them :lmao: )
nail file & clippers
sunblock and lip balm
Autograph pages/clipboard
book of tradeable pins
Each kid has a drink bottle which attaches to clips on the stroller
snacks/drink mix
swim chamois

What else might we need :confused3

Chris got the camper registered and the cap to his truck wired for lightinng. He also spread ant powder around the house.

Will some motrin or tylenol help with the throat pain?

Sounds like you've got everything.

I really should mow the grass this morning since it is so nice outside, but my lower back and hamstrings are paying for the work I did yesterday. Maybe after I get moving they will loosen up.

To bad you didn't ask this question last night, I would have asked John.

Anyone got any good or challenging questions for me to pose to the technician ie Chris? Come on people we need some real stumpers.

Deb are you doing water rides in the parks? maybe a change of clothes. Unless you think it will be hot enough to dry fast.

How about Tylenol?

When we do the waterparks I will just pack a beach bag for that trip. That is usually a trip to and from the waterpark so we can change in the camper.

Tylenol is in the first aid kit :thumbsup2

I took Ibuprofen yesterday & that seemed to help. The Dr. gave me some nasal spray & even though it tasted nasty in my throat it did seem to help numb it as well. But I am only suppose to use that once a day.

Will some motrin or tylenol help with the throat pain?

Deb sounds like you are getting everything in order for your trip :cool1:

Elin have fun shopping! I like the skorts from Kohls :thumbsup2

Jennifer how are you feeling? I agree about the walking, the more you do it, the better you feel & the quicker you heal :goodvibes

Well I had CSR booked for Aug., but that was not available with the AP rate, so now I have POR booked.

When will the madness end :rotfl:

We're all doing great! I just wrote out a long reply to a friend and realized I hadn't given many details, so I'm going to try and update the blog with a bunch. They are doing wonderfully though, not needing any help with anything. So far, they're perfect! ;)

I have been up and moving since about 5 hours post-op, I was determined to because as much as it sucks I know it really does speed things up! I got a shower and wore regular clothes yesterday, and today I'm pretty much feeling back to almost normal.... so much so that I sometimes forget I just had surgery 2 days ago and do something stupid and am quickly reminded :rotfl:

We just got the official word that we all go home tomorrow morning! We knew the babies would go when we did, there were just conflicting reports on when that would be (ranging from this afternoon to Friday). We can't wait! :goodvibes
