my wrist feels better every day but still aches..espescially when I do some movements...so I am trying to limit those.

Love the look of that blender...I love going into Williams-Sonoma...just to look at the cool gadgets. Last time I was in there to find a gift for my baker friend and I ended up getting this http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products/sku5471628/index.cfm?pkey=cnewctl for myself and have used it a lot!! Couldn't find any gadget my friend didn't have and a few that I thought Kristine would love.

My mom has one similar to that she got 40 years ago. We used it a lot when I was a kid.

The 5 of us are no problem. It is adding my parents for 10 days in our camper and trying to tour the parks with my brother's family. I'm not afraid to split us up though.

That is the only thing that saved this trip for us. We had to split up. My sister didn't want to lead but she didn't want to follow. Once we split up for most the day, we were fine.

So I ordered the bag that Janet posted about in black. I sure hope it will work for a diaper bag and to hold the autograph cards

Guess who just called me?

Vicki. She and Chuck separated from the group for a couple of hours and were sitting in front of the Ice Cream Parlor on Main St at the same table we shared with them in October She said she just had to call since they were thinking of us She said things are going well, but it is hot. I think most of us had hotter weather at home, but they were still hot. She said she is no longer in awe of our 3 week trip as she can't imagine how hot it will be then My bet is no worse than here. She was apprehensive of OKW after their trip earlier this year, but the are in building 54 and they love it. It is now on their favorites list.

Well, that shows what a good connection we had. Actually, we were at the Comedy Club when I called. Chuck and I happened to be walking by just as they were letting people in for the next show. We ended up in exactly the same area that we sat with Chris, Deb, Terry & Stephanie.

We did love OKW. We ended up in the section we requested. It is just across from one of the quiet pools, on a dead end, off the bus route.

They are super excited about the trip though I think today they are more excited that tomorrow is the last day of school


They boys gave Chris his Father's Day gifts. They each had a card for him and they gave him the race scanner and headsets. He spent a good part of the morning figuring the new gadget out. Now he's got his Toyota bag packed with the scanner set, sunblock and a hiney pad. I guess he's all set for the race. Now if he remembers to put the bag IN the camper he will be all set.

Even if I don't remember, I bet they will be there.

I am shocked how hot is for y'all WAY up North. It was around 90 here today. So y'all have feet and feet of snow in the winter and then the heat we get (or hotter). Has it always gotten so hot for you, or is this really unusual?

Very unusual for us. It has been hotter now that it usually gets at the hottest part of the summer (which is about 1 week ). Remember, we had snow just 3 or 4 weeks ago. It didn't stay on the ground but it still snowed for about 10 minutes.

Ive been such a bum today! I finished a book and just relaxed--i think i needed this!

I went to the library today and picked up some books for the kids, since they haven't been able to check any out from school now that it is coming to and end. I got Nicholas the first Harry Potter book and we started reading it tonight. I read the first 5 or 6 pages to him, to get him interested, and then he read for awhile. I might have to go in his room and steal it!

How is the book coming? I love the Harry Potter books! I wish I could find something that keeps my attention as much as those did. The first three chapters of the first book were slow reading for me. I wasn't sure I would be able to read the whole thing. Once I got into the 4th chapter, I was one of those crazy people that read until 2 or 3 in the morning - which is unheard of for me.

How is the book coming? I love the Harry Potter books! I wish I could find something that keeps my attention as much as those did. The first three chapters of the first book were slow reading for me.
