We've done Amoxicillin and are on Augmentin now. Is it Omnicef you're talking about it? Mo was on that when her ears wouldn't clear up. That didn't even touch Mo's though. We had to have a antibiotic shot which was horrific, the medicine needs to go in slowly so the needle is in their leg for about a minute (it seems like 1,000 though) and then we had to stay there for an hour to see if she had a reaction. She had them 4 or 5 times. I so want to avoid that at all costs. I would much rather them just put tubes in and be done.
The diaper rash is horrific. I am definitely not on top of that. Lucy didn't have any issues the first few days on Augmentin but then woke up with one one morning and I can't get rid of it. She is sick of yogurt and I keep putting the extra acidophilus in her bottles.
Poor kiddos! I think Augmentin did do the trick for Matty. When he does get a diaper rash, it is really hard to kick. He's hit or miss with yogurt, but I found a powdered solution called Domeboro that you can buy over the counter, but you have to ask the pharmacist for it. You dissolve it in the bath for a nice soak. Between that and plenty of "airing out," I could usually win the battle!

There's nothing like the sound of crunching one of those little buggers in the backyard.

I don't know if I should call or just assume that what is online is correct.
For now I'd rather spend the money on Disney trips!
This is not spare either, I've been saving it up for you when you finally see a job that you want
As for diaper rashes, ask for a prescription ointment to treat yeasty diaper rashes or by some antifungal cream for atheletes feet (I know it sounds wierd, but it does work) Lotrimin. Colby never got a diaper rash that wasn't yeasty and it needed extra ointments to clear up.

Hopefully Princess will develop a nice fear of bugs.
