ohhhh....maybe we can try and see you on the 21st. (I work both the 19th & 20th at the Music Festival to get the fundraising out of the way for marching band).

Sounds good! :thumbsup2

Ok, now I'm reworking my route home. I've got to stop doing this. I'm starting to feel a little like Elizabeth. :rotfl: Originally, I was coming home via South Dakota and Iowa heading into Illinois south of Chicago. Now I think I'll head from South Dakota through Minnesota and Wisconsin to Chicago and then home. More research is definitely needed!

Hope Nick feels better and that they can squeeze you in at the dr's. office.

Well, I got most of my ADR's that I had planned for. I couldn't get Tusker for dinner. It seems the day that I was planning for, something is going on at AK so they are only booking lunch ADR's. But I'll never know what since WDW won't post their stinking hours! I couldn't get Mama Melrose early enough for us to get to the 6:30 showing of Fantasmic, IF there IS a 6:30 showing of Fantasmic, which there was LAST year at this time. Again, who knows about THIS year!! But I digress. So I booked PrimeTime but I am really burnt out on that place. My other option was SciFi for dinner. We had lunch there last April and since I did it once I don't have the need to do it again. HS really needs better dining options.

Chanon, Anne Marie and/or Janet.....are you eating at LTT before MVMCP or are you just doing CS?
We decided on the Plaza for an early dinner.
LOVE MM's lemon dessert!!!
I'm hemming and hawwing over a Candlelight Package for myself though...we are planning on eating in France for lunch - do you think they'd allow all three of us to make one reservation, but only one of us on the Candlelight package?

Hi kids - I thought I'd let you know

I just got a call from Kristine - they are currently in the new Toy Story ride at HS. They have been stuck for more than 1/2 hour and the lights are on. She took some pictures but she told me Little Green Men are taking her hostage and I'm to alert her loved ones that it may be death by Woody.

At least she's keeping her sense of humor!

OOOOOOooooOOooOOHHHhhhhhhh!!!!
Back to my Tusker House dilemma.....would it be because AK closes at 5 that day that they do not have dinner hours? That would mean TH only serves dinner during EMH.
That doesn't make any sense to me! :headache: December hours!

Beth,
I would ask if you can do it. I can't see why it would be a problem.
What are your dates again?

Aug 13-22. I'm sure it really isn't going to be a problem. My mind has wandered off again, and I'm back to this silly cross-country (well, not quite) jaunt. I really have spent a lot of time on this, and I don't have a whole lot of planning to show for it.

Do I want to see Chicago? Is it worth it for an evening and half a day? Is there somewhere outside the city where I can stay and take a train in so that I don't have to drive in the city? Will it be way too expensive? This is what my mind is filled with at the moment, and (unfortunately) WDW and ToT have slipped back out of it.

I just got the 2nd coat on & boy are my arms tired!

For some reason I am craving a hamburger which is unusual for me. Off to take a break from painting..I have to get the white trim done (hopefully today) Daniel made the baseball playoffs so I may not have enough time today.

Isnt' painting fun  Good luck getting the trim done.

I hear our resident expert on Chicago is stuck on the new Toy Story Ride :rotfl: I bet if you PM'd her she might find time to answer tonight.

Hi, everyone. I don't know if you remember, but over 2 years ago (March 2006) Rees was denied the insurance (Katie Beckett Medicaid for kids with complex medical conditions) after being on it 5+ years. We appealed, hired a lawyer, and never heard anything. I got a letter today with his court hearing for the appeal. It will be August 6th at 10am, which is 2 days after I start my new job. John and I are very nervous about it. If he is denied, they could hold us responsible for all the medical bills the past 2 years which would be well over $200,000. Please pray that our lawyer is able to settle this without going to court and that Rees wins his appeal.

The lawyer is going to cost us a pretty penny too, so we will likely cancel our Dec Disney trip. And we had planned to go to the beach at the end of July, but I think we'll put that on hold too. Hopefully once this is all settled, we will be able to escape for a few days.

Thanks for the prayers.

Oh, I can probably even wait until she gets back. Who told her she could go on vacation while I was busy changing my plans anyway! :rotfl:

pixiedust: and prayers! That is my father's birthday, so I'm sure that I will remember to say an extra prayer for you that morning.

Well I'm sure we'll bump into you sometime that night.

Just put all 3 of you on the package, and then 2 don't go to CP. It's not like it costs any more. Then you could spread the magic and find 2 people waiting in the stand-by line to give the tickets to.

Stephanie thanks for posting your mini trip report! Sounds like you & Terry had a good time other than the drive

Anne Marie thanks for the link to your cruise pictures! You are just moving along with painting the girls room :thumbsup2

Theresa glad you were able to sleep last night. :wizard: that your wrist continues to feel better.

Marti thanks for posting about Kristine's delima, it could only happen to her :rotfl: Death by a Woody

Elin enjoy your 2 weeks off!

Beth your road trip sounds like so much fun. Sorry about not being able to get CM's. It is a hard one to get ADR's for if you don't call right at the 180 day mark. Hopefully Miles will enjoy the other meals just as much!

Tammi hopefully something will open up for you & you can get the ADR's you are wanting. I will be calling Friday for our Dec. trip :cool1:

Marci your boys have done so great playing baseball, tell them congratulations! I hope you can go at a little slower pace now.

:wizard: to everyone with allergies & just plain ole not feeling well!

Denise :wizard: for Ree's appeal, I hope it ends in your favor

Isn't it like a "prepaid" type menu? Don't you pay a flat fee for a meal? I think Janet and Anne Marie can eat less than what the cost of the CP is.... if that makes any sense.

Denise, you and your family absolutely have my prayers. I remember that ordeal very clearly, and hope it can get resolved once and for all.

As for me, I am at the hospital again. They don't really intend to deliver just yet, so the goal is to still send me home after a few labs come back -- hopefully in a few hours. I wanted to pop on though and say mostly that I'll check in later. The last few days I have had increasing concerns that I'm glad they are taking seriously, and that's why I'm here now -- just to rule out a few things that are suspicious. I'll update in a much less vague fashion as soon as I can, but I'm sitting in the stupid hallway because they're too full to get me in a room. All I need is labs supposedly, so hopefully they'll stick me in a closet somewhere or something to get started, so I can go home if I'm going to! Just so you are sure, the babies are fine, and I'm fine. They just want to make sure things stay that way :)

I had wondered what happened with that. I hope that it works in your favor. He obviously needs to be covered, I can't see how they could possible deny him.:wizard: :wizard: I don't know what we would do withou Dr. Dynosaur as our secondary insurance.

I can't remember if I updated or not since I've been interrupted today.

Nick has a viral thing, probably just a cold. Nothing that they were concerned about or that they could treat. They said that if he isn't better in a week to bring him back. They expected that he may have had more than one virus back to back which is the explanation for him not feeling well for 3 weeks. In any event he is home and just hanging out on the couch. Thanks for the concern.

pixiedust: I hope that everything is ok. You are almost there!

JEn, are they testing you for preeclampsia? I hope the labs are ok and you go home. FYI, magSO4 is some nasty stuff if they have to give it to you. It is the worst I ever felt. It works, though.

Denise - Good luck with the insurance! :wizard:

Deb - Hope Nick feels better soon! :wizard:

Jennifer - Hope all is well and that you are able to return home soon!! :wizard:

Beth - The difference is I would NEVER elect to spend that much time in the car! :rotfl2: I do hope you get your itinerary sorted out so you can get back to WDW planning! That's the kind I like. ;)
