John is gooing to FLIP when we get home from gymnastics. It cost me $400 to register Brantley-Kate for cheerleading including the uniform, sweats, bag, shoes. I may have to play with the turtle to get out of hot water.

Ewwwwwwwwwww!

Moving the cruise up is NOT ok. at least dog wise. I will have only had my dog 4 months and I want to take him and my parents especially my MOM wants me to keep him home. I don't think our bond will be strong enough to keep him in a kennel and i don't want to kennel him and him feel abandoned. I am trying to find all information out and talking to people who have taken cruises and taken their service dog to see what they did how they did it and how it went. moms argument is that it will be a hassle to take him and something extra someone will have to take care of for me. also the noises and all the people and distractions for the dog. HELLO I AM A HASSLE TO TAKE PLACES AND PEOPLE HAVE TO TAKE CARE OF ME BUT YOU STILL TAKE ME. she isn't the one who is gonna take care of me on the ship any way my cousin is and i have already asked her if she would mind. her answer was lets ask Michelle during class and then we will decide. In a way I think my mom is trying to find a way to stay home but then she is gonna rub it in my face when i get home that she had to take care of my dog. also i don't want my dog to get attached to my parents like shocker was. i just wanna cry and scream but i am not because then mom will no she got to me.:furious: :furious:

I just called DVC to inquire about a summer party this year. They will be having one. It will again be rain or shine outside of the International Gateway at Epcot on Thursdays. Time is 3 PM - 5 PM and it will run 7 weeks starting July 12. :cool1: That means we will be able to make one :thumbsup2
Thanks for the info. I'll have to add it to my CCMOF. :thumbsup2

Anne Marie - I hope you are feeling better.

Karen - Can you hire a pet sitter for the dog instead of using the kennel? That way at least the dog would be at home and be in familiar surroundings. Of course the breeder and trainer would be able to advise you better. Good luck working our a solution! :wizard:

I had my annual gyn appointment this morning :scared:

It appears that some of my minor complaints can be attributed to possible fibroid cysts in my uterus. She said that they are not concerning, but explain most of the cycle changes that I have been experiencing. And here I thought that I was just getting older :confused3 She is going to start me on birth control for 3 months to see if that will alliviate some of my discomfort. She also said that I NEED to lose 20 lbs as it will improve things as well :confused3 That is not what I wanted to hear. It's not that I disagree, but that I hate the weight loss battle.

I also found a cute boutique in a neighboring town that sells the bare minerals make up line. After an hour, $175 and a makeover...I'm now a bare minerals girl. The make really is as wonderful as I had been reading. It seems to give a more polished appearance without making me look made up :thumbsup2 It also has an SPF 15 which is better than the SPF nothing that I wear now ::yes::

I've got about 1/2 hour here to get laundry moving before we need to head out for the boys game. Hopefully the rain will hold off too as it is looking like a thunder storm may be approaching.
I've found that lines like Maybeline and L'Oreal are starting to produce the mineral make-up as well. I bought L'Oreal yesterday at Target. Figured I'd try the $8 stuff and see how it compares to the $30. If it does the same trick, I'll let you know. Not that it will do you any good since you've already spent 175, but you'll know for next time.

Good luck with the in-laws Anne Marie. :wizard:

we got Cassidy a Mineral line from Target last year (she wears the stuff a bit more than me :lmao: ) and it seems to be very good!

Great pictures Bernadette. Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like fun Denise!!! We haven't had a reference to turtle time in a long time. You've been missed!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

And if your cheerleading is anything like our cheerleading, that is only the begining. There was mandatory tumbling classes. Private lessons. Hotel, competion entrance fees and travel expenses. OMG. John will be very happy..;) ;) ;) ;)

I have been MIA for a few weeks. Its been busy busy busy here. Life is hectic. Here is an update on me:

the attendant that said she would come and train never did(not surprising) so i am back to square one

my day attendant started having contractions last week but all is well with her

my dad will probably have heart surgery VERY soon

we moved the cruise to this November instead of next July

house is still a mess but walls are back up and they are taping a floating the walls

i have gained water weight and that isn't good because i gained 10lbs in 2 weeks so i have a call into the doctor.

i am just stressed stressed stressed:badpc: :furious:

oh yeah i have stopped catching up at may 20 so if i could have a readers digest version that would be awesome

Elin, I'm probably gonna need my foot in mouth smilie...

Karen, is it possible for the service dog to go with the puppy raiser for a few days? Or would that confuse him? I know the puppy raisers here have a support system for when they have to go out of town or something. I don't know if they extend that curtisy to the end users or not??? I can really understand your reluctance to go during your bonding period.

That is great! Can't wait to see pictures!

Glad you had a nice visit with family. :wizard: Hope you cousin's DH recovers quickly!

I was there for the last weekend. Like others have already said if you go early (some of the countries actually opened up before 11am you'll be fine. The drunks do come out later at night and the lines at the bathrooms are REALLY long then too.

Poor kid! Hope the glasses are an easy fix!

Thanks!

Thanks! Lizzy was just asking if you guys would come again for the 4th of July. I told her you'd be at Disney. She said they should come before then and I told her you were leaving right after school got out. So she says you HAVE to come see us after you get back but before we go on 8/14.::yes::

We definitely do need to get together again. Maybe a weekend when Elin will be in Boston :confused3 Or not. The kids had a great time and would love to do it again.

Cool! We don't have plans for the afternoon of the 14th before we meet up with the DDA gang for dinner. Maybe we can go check it out! :)
EDIT: I hope they gave you the correct info. July 12 is a Saturday, but it was a Thursday last year. I hope they weren't looking at an '07 calendar.

Good luck, Deb!

I took my calendar out while waiting for the game to start and I noticed the dates too. I wonder if she was looking at old info? I plan to call back tomorrow.

The boys lost their game tonight, but it was much closer than it was the first time we played them. The temperature dropped from the high 70s to the low 40s while we were sitting there. I about froze. Thankfully I had my parka and a couple of blankets in my trunk. Chris ended up wearing the sweatshirt that I started off wearing.
They had a end of year pizza party after the game complete with ice cold soda and popsicles. There were popsicles left over at the end. The boys still have 2 games left.

Deb - Yikes! Too chilly for me! I wouldn't have wanted a popsicle, either!
Somebody on the DVC board pointed out that JUNE 12 is a Thursday, but if they run weekly for 7 weeks that means they will end by mid-July. :confused3 Who knows.

Good luck with the in-laws Anne Marie. :wizard:

Thanks. I am just glad they packed up their negativity & moved 1000 miles from us 4 years ago so we only have to see them once a year at the most.
They are small minded, racist, arrogant, deceptive, ignorant people & unfortunately they are raising my neice & nephew to be just like them.

Ok I am done complaining about them..rant over.:faint:

On to happier things....I spoke with Chanon today & we discussed Christmas designs for our MVMCP shirts. I am looking forward to getting together with both her & Janet to do Disney again.

Nothing left to do for August's trip but pack..& maybe make some new shirts. I am thinking of cancelling some TS & doing more CS for August since we will not be on the DDP. We love some of the CS meals as much as the TS one (like Columbia Harbour House & Sunshine Seasons)

Oh & we have been discussing where we'd like to stay next year & I would like to give the Poly another try. Dana likes the new look of the Contemporary so maybe we can do a split stay at each. Looks like we will go the last 2 weeks of August as that time does not interfere with school.:thumbsup2

Anne Marie - Are these the people who expect you to watch their kids all summer?

I think we'll go the second week of August next year, and the first week of August in 2010 so the APs will cover both trips. Hey! 2010 will be my 40th birthday! Definitely the first week of August in 2010!!
