Robyn, those pictures are precious! I love that both girls stick out their tongues. :goodvibes

okay guys, Stephanie and I are thinking about going to Disneyland in 2009. What we need to know is a good time of year to go. When is the Food & Wine and do they have a flower show?

I also want to stop in San Diego for two days just to see if anything is still there that I might recognize.

Is this rain gonna end?? :confused3 It has rained every day since Thursday.

I basically keep coming home and climbing right into my PJ's. I have no motivation. I would like to just stay home for a few days and relax. Although I have tons I could do just at home to clean.

I would like to go outside for a walk/jog but I will just end up soggy and wet and need to be wrung out again.

I need to work on figuring out trip details.

I am contemplating signing up for the half marathon in March. I have wanted to do a half/marathon at Disney for many years. I first heard about the marathon at Disney when I was on a trip during marathon weekend many years ago. I thought it would to be neat to do one day. In college I wanted to do it but never did.

I always miss the sign ups so I never have done one. But running a marathon is on my list of things to do. So doing the half would be a good start. I would love to do the Expedition Everest Challenge but I am not allowed to take time off in September.

So I have to think about it and decide really soon. So it does not sell out again.

I really need something to motivate me to eat healthy and exercise again.

Well, I make this post from the hospital! :sad2: The good news is, my cervix is actually holding up, or at least holding steady. Still closed, which is great (and surprising to us all!). The bad news for the day was that Baby A's fluid went from "low normal" to just "low"... and pretty low at that. The current plan is a lot of fluids overnight (1L bolus just completed, and is beeping incessantly in my ear, plus 150/hr all night), then repeat the scan at the peri's office (connected to the hospital) tomorrow morning. If the level went up, then I'll go home tomorrow and we'll recheck it again at the end of the week. If it stays up, we're back on track to have BPP's and appointments every week until further notice. If it doesn't go up, or doesn't stay up, then they will consider steroid boosters and a fairly quick delivery. We'll see! I know this isn't a very nice birthday present for Kyle. Instead of the nice dinner and fun evening we had planned, we sat around at the office all afternoon, didn't eat for hours, then had Wendy's in the hospital room -- and not a good room at that, a triage room since I'm just short stay at this point. It might be a long night... 2 heartbeats and a monitor in my right ear, and IV pump in my left, a nurse that comes in continuously because Baby A is so low the monitor won't pick her up at all the second she moves any...... but hopefully it's just one night!

Hold them back ,,,Hold them back,,,,Way back!!!:cheer2:

Really, hope everything is okay:hug: :grouphug:

Becky, I'm sorry about your cat, but yay for your cruise!

Vicki, I'm very impressed that you're going to run the marathon!

Jen, Kyle will always remember this birthday! Please let me know if you need anything.

Tired, mushy, pregnancy brain, combined with horribly loud screaming monster game in the background :headache: ...lots of :grouphug: and :wizard: to you all!

Well, I just happen to know a family from Utah who is also going to Disneyland in 2009 and would love to meet up with you and Stephanie!!!

Seriously, any time of year is great at Disneyland. Summer, we stay away from, since the locals really crowd the place up. Our favorite times of year at DL are right after Labor Day (CA schools begin, and the park is pretty empty), and the first week in June (CA schools are still in session, and the days are warm, but not hot).

DL does not do a Food and Wine, and I don't believe they do a flower show, either. I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure on that.

Let me know what you decide and I'll see if I can help out in any way. We are planning on going with my extended family in September of 2009. It will be our new peanut's first DL trip! Already my kids are so excited and planning what rides will be first, etc.

Oh my good golly!! Those are two of the most precious kiddos I have ever seen!!:lovestruc :lovestruc

Thanks!!

Robyn, those pictures are fantastic! :goodvibes

Thanks!! They are in no comparison to the shots you got though. It was a new studio manager so I am hopeful that I can work him to get the shots I want in the future. I need to get all 3 girls in together.

The tongue thing cracks me up. Lucy has inherited traits from both Emma and Molly. She has a tag fascination like Emma does and then the tongue thing like Mo.

The rain is such a downer. I can't wait for the gray skies to disappear.

You should sign up for the marathon, you could do it!!

We had that same game going here too!

I hope that you are feeling pretty well lately. :goodvibes

Robyn - Wow! Molly looks different! Both girls are precious!

Thanks!! Her face has changed a lot since January. She doesn't look like the same kid we took to Disney. And her hair is now different too.

Actually, this is the second year they've done a Food & Wine Festival...let me see if I can find the link!!

The Food and Wine Weekends at Disneyland are held April through May. Here is a link to this years http://www.wdwinfo.com/Disneyland/events/foodandwine.htm
and http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/calendar/specialEvents/detail?name=FoodWineLandingPage&CMP=OTC-VanURLFoodAndWine

There is no Flower and Garden Show or at least I have not found one in my search for Disneyland info.

Wow! You learn something new every day!! Do they do it in the park? It would have to be in California Adventure, since alcohol is prohibited in DL. I would love to see the link.

I just got a phone call from Alan. He was covering a high school baseball tournament, safely by one of the dugouts, and ended up getting hit in the ankle by a foul ball. His ankle has swollen and is black and blue. He's waiting for a replacement photographer to come so he can go to the hospital and have it checked out. Any spare pixie dust you've got would be welcome! I just don't have the energy for a housebound husband these days! That would drive both of us crazy!

you've got it....poor guy hit by a foul ball.

I don't know why I should be surprised. This is the same guy that was covering a Utah Jazz basketball game, and ended up flat on the floor, underneath several players. He wasn't hurt that time, but it made me laugh!

Not specifically, but I am thinking this is a "tweaked" version of the one they offer every day. I would assume you would register in the lower level of The Land just like the regular Behind the Seeds tour.
thanks

I would avoid the world showcase on any weekend night-wall to wall people and lots of them are drinking heavily.

DH & Lizzy did the Behind the Seeds and DH said it was too long for Lizzy who was 6 at the time.
thanks for the insight.

Jennifer - :wizard: for one night only!

Robyn - Those pictures are just TOO CUTE!

Glynis, :wizard: for Alan

 :wizard: you've done well this far. I had weekly IVs with Colby just for dehydration then 18 bolus' of potassium to bring my levels to below normal so they could induce  Let them fill you with fluid and drinking yourself won't hurt either. Hopefully her levels will come up and you can go home. The most important things is that they are keeping her safe. The steroid shots aren't bad either. Been there and done that. Don't be surprised if you need an amnio to make sure their lungs are ready for delivery. That was the scariest part for me as it hurt and I was watching the needle on the ultrasound  I know that you are already aware of this with your nursing and all, but this is fairly routine.

Well they aren't coming today, we can just about count on it! My body is doing a decent job of keeping them in :) .... and if they have to come out becuase they aren't doing their job, it will be at least 48-72 hours from tomorrow to get steroids on board. We're thinking it will just be fluids and I'll be back in my bed tomorrow night. :goodvibes

:wizard: :wizard:

and Jim was the exact opposite reaction....MEN!!:rotfl:

Chris told me to get him out on the 17th or I had to keep him in until the 19th. He wasn't going to share his birthday :rotfl:

:wizard: :wizard: Hopefully it is just bruised. Remember when I got hit by the run away horseshoe last year. It was bruised and swollen before I had time to look down. Legs have a way of looking nasty, quickly.:wizard: :wizard:
