So was everyone that watches Survivor happy with the outcome? I wasn't.

Ummmm....NO! No one in this house was happy last night. (Well, there were two that don't watch Survivor and were oblivious except for the screaming of the other three.)

I would only book OKW with the new preferred location booking category...then at least you are guaranteed being close to that hospitality house


Bill & I did not care for SSR at all....it's good there's lots of choices

When I called at my 7 mo. window I would have had to waitlist all nights to get Preferred Location. I just took what they had available.

Yes, I agree with that. #3 is quite intelligent and crafty.

I must admit our hearts were broken by the loss of James and Erik from the game, so we weren't going into the final episode entirely happy anyway. Poor Erik was more naive and sweet than he was stupid. What a way to go down...

Well, when I talk with our guide tomorrow I will tell him that we will NOT have a car and we would appreciate being in a good location. Right now the ressie is on a 24 hour hold so he will have to talk to MS again to confirm it. I am going to have to cancel the breakfast we had booked for our departure morning at Boma, but other than that being at OKW doesn't really hurt our ADRs.

I can book the fishing excursion for DH out of OKW, but apparently the fishing is better out of CR or WL, so I'll have to ponder on that a bit more. He was going to end up taking a cab from AKL anyway, so maybe I'll still send him in a cab.

Elizabeth - OKW also has an internal bus that only drives around to the 4 or 5 different stops within OKW. So if you are far from the pool or whatever, you just head to the closest bus stop and wait for the internal bus to take you there.

So it just continuously loops around the resort? And the buses to the parks just stop at the very front? Is that the deal?

No. All buses stop at all stops. So there might be 5 stops within the resort. The MK bus stops at all of them, the AK bus stops at all of them, etc. etc. But yes, the internal bus just loops around the resort, stopping at all stops.

Yesterday we made it to almost 80 degrees, today will be at least 70 (beautiful weather to walk in) and tomorrow?? Well.....it's supposed to snow!! and stick

Jim used some birthday money and took us to a lovely supper just the 4 of us!! This was after my grandma had my mom so mad that she didn't even want to be next to her...didn't want pictures. My grandma had stated that SHE was the only mother at the brunch....ummm there were 4 more of us there. She was in fine form yesterday.

We went and saw Iron Man yesterday and the girls saw Speed Racer the day before...both said it was time for a chick flick!!

It was a productive morning. Colby's IEP is in place. He should begin speech therapy as early as this week She will have 2 weeks of therapy over the summer and start in right at the beginning of the school year.

We also closed on our mortgage refinance this morning.

The biggest problem is SSR or AKV? The incentives for SSR are better, but we LOVE AKL. So after hemming and hawing we have chosen AKV. I am just waiting for the guide to call me back so I can pay the down payment!

I managed to hobble out of the house and buy a new washer & dryer...I have no clue how...but I spent more on these 2 appliances than I did buying a car for Jonathan

Oh, no. There won't be any "late". We need to be ON THE BUS no later than 7:30 AM for an 8 AM opening, 8:30 AM for a 9 AM opening. So if we are hoofing to the CS thing for breakfast at 6:30 AM then it is what it is!
