I pulled out the Mother's Day cards I never sent last year and put them in the mail to my mom yesterday.
That reminds me - I never sent out all the Christmas cards that I bought and filled out this year!
I have the photos and the papers that I was going to use to make my Christmas cards still sitting here. I am also rapidly trying to finish the Christmas stamps that I bought for the cards that were never made or sent. I guess I'll be buying some 1 cent stamps on Monday.

See, the nice thing is that all of these holidays will roll around again so you have another shot at sending the cards out!
I didn't see the Syracuse store, but we don't get up there much. 
FOUR hours after her appointment and NO WORD from my mother. Her cell phone is off, nobody answers at her house, and Diva Girl's phone goes to voice mail after 4 rings but it's the generic voice mail so I don't know for sure that I have the right number. 
It's time for appointments every two weeks, but nothing internal for another month yet. 
WHY does every step of this have to be so impossibly difficult?
Diva Girl got her new computer and her boyfriend broke up with her, which I could have predicted on both counts.
At least you get them presents. There are worse things. Like buying a Christmas present and forgetting to give it to someone for 4 years.

Don't worry about the gifts being late. It's the thought that counts, and I'm sure they'll love them.
The boys had Mayfest at school today, so I volunteered this morning, and now am working from home while Jake, his friend that is spending the night, and Andrew play. It's hot here -- almost 90 and sunny. I got a headache just standing out on the field for a couple of hours. Of course, it couldn't have helped my allergies, but better that then feel guilty that I wasn't there. Andrew had a great game last night with his rec team -- why doesn't he have that kind of confidence with his tournament team! Jake has a game tonight. Two soccer games tomorrow, baseball lessons and haircuts for the boys, and a pedicure for me, then we're off to watch the Texas Rangers play baseball.
