Goodnight Jen. I think I hear some ice cream calling my name.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

BERNADETTE

Kevin's not very happy, but I switched our signature picture. :rolleyes1

Dinner with the pastor went well. He's a huge Webkinz fan! :rotfl:

Have a good night DDA. Lots of :wizard: for you all. :)

I like this picture better, Amy. Only because it's not flashing.

Janet must be enjoying herself. :goodvibes: We haven't heard from her since she got to WDW.

So there was something in my Mickey Monitor about a Passholder Package. You can now book the room and DDP without having to buy a park ticket. At least that's the way I understood it.

Sorry to dump all this out there. I know that my problems are extremely minor compared to many others in the world. It does help to get some of the frustration out, though.

Right. That's the package Bernadette is on right now. The catch is you have to have an AP room rate or pay rack rate. You can't use a post card PIN (not that I get those), AAA, Bounce Back, etc. and add AP dining. AP rate or rack rate only. So if I can't get an AP rate on our room in August for the days I want DxDDP I think we won't be doing DxDDP!

Tia, that's wonderful news!! Enjoy your new car!
I can not stress to you enough how important it is to have a detailed written contract. If this woman comes across as "flighty" now then you will have issues with her "remembering" the details of verbal agreements, like what time you are supposed to be off, how much money she owes you, etc. I made Dadboss go back and add clarifications to my contract a couple of times before I would sign it because gray areas are bad. My bosses have been AMAZING to work with, but you just don't know going in. Good luck!! :wizard:

Thanks! That's one of the things we're going to do on Thurs when we get the girls together.

I would have loved to get in on the ice cream social. I think maybe Garden Grill was under refurb when we went on our very first trip, and after that they never did the social again.

Did you just call me neurotic? :rotfl2:
I do worry about DS because he is small, and he tends to be a follower. I can't say with 100% certainty that he would walk away from a bad situation if there wasn't an adult around for him to consult. I don't think his ability to "read" a situation is that sharp. He could probably see if things were starting to go south, but I am not absolutely sure he would walk away. Which is why I worry about him being caught up in a fight.

We also talked to him last night about being painted with a broad brush. If some other kid in the band steals something and they are both in the shop at the same time then chances are they will both be ejected from the park. When we tell him things like that he tries to cut us off and finish our sentences, but he is always WRONG about what he thinks we are going to say. That tells me he can't anticipate trouble and reroute himself to avoid it. DH did chaperone the 5th grade camping trip and that seemed to go pretty well. I don't think DS will agree to having either one of us tagging along. In the park, maybe, but not actually going around the park with him and his friends. I'm still not sure it's a great idea to let him go. I need more information.

Now why would I call you neurotic :rolleyes1 I was referring to myself of course.

Hi DDA! I'm sorry to have disappeared lately. We had quite a bit of a scare with Baby A last week, and I needed some time away from the computer as often as possible to pass the time until today's rescan. I'm happy to report that all is well now, and we'll just continue to monitor closely these next (last?!) few weeks. I'm sorry I fell so behind. Please PM me with anything you'd like... and I'll try to be around more this week! :goodvibes

If you're interested, details (both from last weeks crappy scan and today's wonderful one ;)) are in blog entries. Right now, apparently I have to go eat.

Take care!

  I'm so sorry that you went through a scare. I would have been happy to pray for your specific needs. I'm relieved to hear that things seem to be fine after all

I'm feeling pretty proud of myself today. I came up with a cost effective teacher appreciation plan and implemented it. Hopefully the boys will remember to give the gifts to the teachers tomorrow. I decided to give each teacher a Disney pin with a little note attached explaining the significance of the Tinker Belle pixie dust pins. I also bought some lindt chocolates for them. Little 3 pack boxes were on sale 12 boxes for $6. I used the pins that I got with the Mom's Panel gift and a few that I had set aside to trade. I had leftover Mickey Mouse Thank you card that the boys signed. Everything is in their backpacks. Colby gave 4 boxes of chocolates to his teachers as they are high school students for the most part and we wanted them all to have a little something.

I also picked up a pair of shorts and a shirt for my Mom for Mother's Day. I usually get her an outdoor plant, but she's not planning on having outside plants this year since she will be gone for a couple of weeks and doesn't want anyone to have to care for them.

I also made 3 pr of sleep shorts for Colby. That's 5 prs made so far. They are really easy to make so I think I'll see what other fabrics I have laying around and make more for them :thumbsup2

The Fiesta was fun. Hunter's class did a little spanish song and were dressed as skeletons complete with black lights to make them look spookier. He had fun.

We ate at Red Robin for his actual birthday last night. Gotta love that free birthday burger! :teeth:

Tonight, our new pastor is coming over for dinner. I have some cleaning to do. :rolleyes1

Have a great day, everyone! :wizard:

There's a free birthday burger?!?!?! How's it work! I've been dying for Red Robin and I do have a birthday coming up! :rolleyes1

ETA: Found it! Now to hope it's not too late for my birthday!

Jennifer -- I am glad that your ultrasound alleviated a lot of your fears for that little peanut!! :goodvibes

Thanks! It seems that there is drama in everything that I am involved in right now: Miles' swimming, synchronized swimming, preschool, church, etc. I am trying my best to stay away from the drama, but there are things that it does affect. It's downright exhausting sometimes. I basically don't go to church anymore. I need to find a new one, but I just don't have the energy to do that right now.

As far as work, there have been a bunch of things recently done and said by the new director and the acting director (the new director just had surgery) that were unprofessional, disrespectful, and hurtful to both me and my co-teacher. There is a staff/board meeting tomorrow to discuss these issues, and they don't think they have done/said anything wrong. I really hope that I don't lose my patience and quit. Dh hopes that I do. ;) I need to remember that I am still professional and respectful but that I don't deserve to be walked on. When God closes a door He always opens a window, so it will work for the best as long as I don't let pride get in my way.

Sorry to dump all this out there. I know that my problems are extremely minor compared to many others in the world. It does help to get some of the frustration out, though.

:wizard: :wizard: :wizard: I hope things get resolved at the meeting tomorrow. Can't be much fun alone, not to mention on top of everything else. Tell that family of yours you need a nice, peaceful Mother's Day! ;) :grouphug:

Yes, and thanks for reminding me. Although, I already have 3 coupons waiting in my dock. I guess I hate shopping on Webkinz as much as I hate shopping in RL! :rotfl2: Time to head to the employment office too.

??? have I missed something???

::yes:: that is true. It has been available for a little while now.

Oh, and by the way... guess who got a MM in the mail this afternoon?? :rolleyes1

almost 11:00... good night, friends! I have a dental appointment in the morning. Something showed up on my xrays...
