Now that you mention it...they sure do look alike
What a nice looking family. That blondy in the middle reminds me of Alyssa.

Kristine - Did Jackie cut her hair? It looks different. Very nice photo!
My hair only looks marginally weird. But since it is very humid today I can pretty much bet that it will look like this at WDW.The back looks fine, but the front is kind of funny. It is really too short to tuck it behind my ears now, which is a problem. I guess I can use my sunglasses as a headband since I hate to wear them on my face.

We liked it, and the kids loved SAB. But we all missed being on the monorail. I would do a split stay there again, but probably the BC first and the monorail last.

I NEVER thought I'd get past the monorail....now I just LOVE having 2 bedrooms and a washing machine (how sad is that)
But it's so true! I was even happy staying off-site when we had two bedrooms and a washing machine.
Way past this girls bedtime!!
Debbie-thank you so much for the designs..I just hope the tshirts I picked do the designs justice!! We couldn't find a purple one for Cassidy's so I tried to pick a green and I picked a teal for Abi's.
Good night friends!!
and
GOOOOOOOOOOOOOD MORNING DDA!!
I know how you feel, my eyes constantly itch and it feels like my glasses are putting pressure on my checks. Plus my ears have been hurting.
I'm dittoing you Anne Marie for lack of time. I know there is more that I missed. We spent yesterday at Emma's game then my in-laws took Em and Mo home with them. Eric came home and worked around the yard. Lucy and I went shopping for deck planters. We came home and grabbed Gail and then went flower shopping. I hope to get them planted tomorrow. We had dinner and then picked up the girls. As we were getting them into bed I had what I am pretty sure was a gallbladder attack. I know I have gallstones, they found them when they did Lucy's ultrasound. I guess if they keep coming I will need to schedule surgery, which obviously I am not looking forward too!
I will have to finish catching up later this afternoon. My aunt is coming here to watch the boys while Molly, Lucy and I meet 2 of my girlfriends and their DD's for a play date.
Have a great day!
So we're headed to the hospital today for Phil's endoscopy. Hopefully they can confirm a (minor) ulcer and since the medicine is helping already we'll be on the way to healing without anything further. He's feeling better too so that's good. The weakness seems to be subsiding. Now if he can just make it through work (or partial day as I'll pick him up at 1pm) without having eaten since his midnight cutoff.
I popped in my Disney Store since I was out running errands this morning. Now I am getting sad.![]()
I met the "liquidator" guy. Apparently (and I am not sure I really comprehend this) the stores NOT taken back by Disney are now being run by a third party liquidator who works with the bankruptcy court. This guy I met works for that company, and it is his job to guide the stores through closing.
They are putting up these HORRIBLE, tacky little signs with the "sale" prices. When I worked retail a handwritten sign was absolute taboo, so those signs just look so cheap and horrible to me.
Turns out we are losing 3 stores instead of just 2. That leaves 3, but I am still sad. I will miss the CMs at "my" store.
Pins are 10% off right now, which means they are still too expensive for trading. And all sales are final, so I better not buy anything that might be the wrong size.
I'm still around...
We leave on May 31.
Been unusually busy lately....I hadn't had a closing in months...now I have several all back to back...each one is a little crazier than the previous one.
I am beginning to think that I am preparing for the second coming of Christ as this trip is taking on a life of it's own. For the first time ever...I am thinking of renting a car while thereIt seems like a strange concept for me....our cost for using the town-car service: (back and forth to the airport, the cruise, sea world & universal, etc.) is $450...to have an SUV the whole time is $442....so it would seem to make sense.
Other than that, I hosted Bill's side of the family for dinner this past weekend...I am still cleaning up from the festivities. Here's a pic...
Hang in there everyone...good thoughts to those in need....

BTW...if anyone is planning on going to the Kennedy Space Center....make sure you contact your Congressman/woman. They will get you admission into the complex. I just got confirmation email that they covered admission and a couple of other things for all 5 of us!! That's worth about $200 so I was excited![]()
I am headed to my sisters tomorrow. The trial is set for Thursday. It is possible that they will settle but we are still going down either way. I'll be working from there. I have to be in Lansing on Monday & Tuesday next week.
"Settle" as in plea bargain? It's a criminal trial, right?![]()
This is how I feel today![]()
We had Colby's speech assessment meeting today with the potential of setting up an IEP. It turns out that the state guidelines for younger kids is different than the guidelines for school aged children. It was determined that there was not enough info available for him to qualify for Special ED today. We could drop it and the school would "plan" to give him therapy next school year anyway. The problem is if the program is full with other kids not leaving a slot open for him. We decided to get the last bit of info and meet again next Monday for a follow up meeting. One of the state assessors will be going to school with him tomorrow and observing his articulation and how it effects him in a classroom setting. Hopefully she will have as much difficulty understanding him as the rest of us do and he will qualify for Special Ed which will open up services for him as early as next week. They would start him in the Early Education program then the school would take over in July. Unfortunately the summer program is only 4 weeks and he will be at WDW for the first 2, but at least it is a start. There would be an IEP in place with a guaranteed spot for him next year.Would be greatly appreciated.
Nick came home this afternoon complaining of a tummy ache and even threw up once (or so he says) he did not go to Lacrosse tonight, but feels well enough to be outside now. We've seen his grades tanking over the last month, but I have no idea why and when I ask him he gets the tummy ache and cries saying that he has no idea why. I have emails in to both of his teachers.
Sometimes being a Mommy sucks.
I did take Colby to a nice park for a picnic lunch and he played for 1 1/2 hrs. he wants to know when we can go back. I've never been a patient Mom when it comes to hanging out at a park so this was a big deal for me.
I picked up a pattern and some material for making some sleep shorts for the boys so I may work on that now.
