Yes, I couldn't think of the right words when I was typing that. I know it isn't settle but the person may plead to a lesser charge (which is still a felony).

Ick. I hope it turns out OK! :wizard:

I'm sorry to hear that things didn't go as you had hoped today. Hopefully, things will get resolved so Colby gets the help he needs and you figure out what is going on with Nick. pixiedust: for all of you.

Ditto!

Debbie - :wave2: I've got some playing around to do too. I really need to price out Sept and compare to Dec so I can make a final decision, preferrably in the next few hours though Terra's waiting to play Webkinz.

Glad to hear they didn't find anything too serious at Phil's exam!
Good luck sorting out your ressies!

I am headed to my sisters tomorrow. The trial is set for Thursday. It is possible that they will settle but we are still going down either way. I'll be working from there. I have to be in Lansing on Monday & Tuesday next week.
Sending lots of :wizard: and prayers your way!

This is how I feel today :headache:

We had Colby's speech assessment meeting today with the potential of setting up an IEP. It turns out that the state guidelines for younger kids is different than the guidelines for school aged children. It was determined that there was not enough info available for him to qualify for Special ED today. We could drop it and the school would "plan" to give him therapy next school year anyway. The problem is if the program is full with other kids not leaving a slot open for him. We decided to get the last bit of info and meet again next Monday for a follow up meeting. One of the state assessors will be going to school with him tomorrow and observing his articulation and how it effects him in a classroom setting. Hopefully she will have as much difficulty understanding him as the rest of us do and he will qualify for Special Ed which will open up services for him as early as next week. They would start him in the Early Education program then the school would take over in July. Unfortunately the summer program is only 4 weeks and he will be at WDW for the first 2, but at least it is a start. There would be an IEP in place with a guaranteed spot for him next year. :wizard: Would be greatly appreciated.

Nick came home this afternoon complaining of a tummy ache and even threw up once (or so he says) he did not go to Lacrosse tonight, but feels well enough to be outside now. We've seen his grades tanking over the last month, but I have no idea why and when I ask him he gets the tummy ache and cries saying that he has no idea why. I have emails in to both of his teachers.

Sometimes being a Mommy sucks.

I did take Colby to a nice park for a picnic lunch and he played for 1 1/2 hrs. he wants to know when we can go back. I've never been a patient Mom when it comes to hanging out at a park so this was a big deal for me.

I picked up a pattern and some material for making some sleep shorts for the boys so I may work on that now.
Lots of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: for you too!

Well, everything looks good with Phil. They found no ulcer, just some gastritis (is that what you call some red infected looking area?). He's supposed to continue a half dose of the meds for a couple of months. They'll call with results of the sample they took to test for bacteria in the next week and do antibiotics if all is well. Otherwise, he's good to go unless something new comes up.
I'm glad everything appears to be okay.

Vicki & Deb-bunches of pixie dust for you both!!:wizard: :wizard:

I can't type too loudly, because Laura is in the room with me. :rotfl:

Just Laura, Miles, and I are going to WDW August 13-23! We are staying at the Pop Century. Laura is unhappy, because at one point I thought going out West wasn't going to work, so I brought up WDW. Then we figured out the West trip and said no Disney. I am going to surprise her with a birthday trip after all. She is going to miss the first week of cross country practice, but I think it will be ok. I am thinking that I won't tell Miles until we go to the airport. I need a little more input from Laura (and couldn't possibly pack for her), so I will tell her soon. I wanted to tell her on my birthday when we go to MA for her synchro meet, but now a friend wants to share the driving and room for that weekend, so we won't be alone.
How cool!!! We will be there 8/18-8/30 so we will have to meet up at some point. :thumbsup2

We liked it, and the kids loved SAB. But we all missed being on the monorail. I would do a split stay there again, but probably the BC first and the monorail last.
I want to try the Cr some day but I would have to do split stay with the BC.

:rotfl2:sad what has become exciting, isn't it? :)

Safe travels & good luck.:wizard:

   Yes, it sure does suck sometimes..I know how you feel. Hope you can figure out what buggin Nick & that you get the help needed for Colby.

Good news.

Well, soccer is over with for the season. They got whooped. But on the bright side, baseball starts on the 19th.

Religion classes are over for the year too! YAY!

For those of you who've done the Wishes Magical Fireworks Voyage Grand Gathering thing, please tell myBob how much fun it was. I'm considering doing it the night of Nicholas' bday, but Bob said he saw a segment on it on one of the Travel Channel specials, and it didn't appeal to him. He seems to like the Illuminations Dinner/Dessert Party.

I'm sorry to hear they got whooped.

My nephew is looking forward to whooping me in Basketball this week. :lmao: That isn't real hard considering that I hadn't had a basketball in my hands for years until I was down to see them over Easter.

I've done both twice now....and for you aged kids..I'd go with the fireworks voyage...

we did both this past Dec. and the Illuminations Dinner went down in quality in my opinion...

I like your new siggie, Anne Marie.
Thanks!

I was just going to say..ask Kristine about her cake during the Illuminations cruise...I'd go with Wishes. We are planning on that for August.

Ok, Kristine....tell me about your cake during the Illuminations cruise.

BTW...if anyone is planning on going to the Kennedy Space Center....make sure you contact your Congressman/woman. They will get you admission into the complex. I just got confirmation email that they covered admission and a couple of other things for all 5 of us!! That's worth about $200 so I was excited
wow thanks for the info
Glad to hear they didn't find anything too serious at Phil's exam!

I've done both and agree with Kristine - the Dessert Party seems nicer. The Wishes cruise was neat to see the water parade (which I've never seen before) but the only thing with the fireworks is you don't get the "fireworks are all around you" feeling.
