Tia great pictures! Terra is growning into a beautiful young lady :goodvibes

Bernadette sending lot's of :wizard: Emma's way!

Jennifer love the pictures! Olivia & Virginia are growing so much, you have two very pretty girls there :goodvibes

Elizabeth Riley plays with his cell phone a lot as well. I do not even like him to take it to school, but sometimes it gets past me. I got a call from school last week because Riley's phoned beeped during class(he says he thought it was turned off  )& he was given ISSP(in school suspension program). I think I would be upset if the school charged me $15 to get my own phone back, that is ridiculous in my opinion. Congratulations to ds for his good grades, sorry his day ended on such a bad note

Jen sounds like your interview went pretty smoothly!

Karen love the slie show of Shocker :goodvibes

I haven't had a chance to trek to the basement to download pictures off our camera, but JCPenney just sent me the link to our portrait session. :)

Mr. Solemn was actually Mr. Cooperative! :goodvibes
Incredible pictures, Amy. Where did you have them done?

Now that I am caught up I am going to say goodnight. It has been a long day, I am worn out physically & mentally.

Chat with you all tomorrow.

I didn't get too many since, but here are a few...

Climbing in the woods:

Her froggy hat bought just for the trip and earning her the camp name "Froggy":
Froggyhat.jpg

Funniest part of the trip, for some reason she was hugging on one of the girls saying repeatedly "soft bacon" like it was a mantra to soothe a crying baby. The girl decided that was her new nickname so then they all decided it would be her camp name. Terra then was dubbed the camp namer and she gave about half the troop their names. Pinky, Kitten and Walla Walla were her 3 choices.

Terra's favorite activity:
Washingdishes.jpg

She loved washing dishes and ended up doing at least hers and either mine or mom's if not all 3 at the two main meals. It was apparently great fun. ;) Guess I need to get her started on the ones here at home. Maybe it'll save me a job!

Not camping, but this was Terra's creation the other night. I thought it was so funny looking.

Sounds like she had a lot of fun! I think Terra is going to be an Imagineer. ;)

DH took Emma to the doctor this morning and they could not confirm or deny Chicken Pox but said we assume that is what it is. They did do a swab but the results won't be back for 2 weeks.

The doctor also wanted her to take an antibiotic for the tick. The results on that test should be back on Wednesday or Thursday and if it is negative we can stop the antibiotic. This worries me because both Lizzy & Joe are alergic to penicillin and Lizzy didn't react til her 2nd time on it and this is just Emma's 2nd time on it.

She WILL be all better by Sunday!!!!!!!
Yes she will!!! :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

DS had a bit of a rough day. :sad2:
He claims that people have been getting things stolen out of their backpacks while they are at lunch. He put his cell phone in his pocket and took it to lunch with him. THEN he said the phone was vibrating, so he took it out. It was a wrong number so he deleted it. Um, maybe. Then he showed the phone to his friend. And it got confiscated by the resource officer.

So after school DH had to go in the office and pay $15 :scared1: to get the phone back.

I'm a little bit angry at DS. He needs to pay DH back because he shouldn't have had it out at school. I told him repeatedly that his friends are NOT to know about the phone, but the temptation was too great. Ever since he took the phone to Kansas he has played with it relentlessly (at home). I mean he plays with it ALLLLL weekend - he takes photos, he records music, whatever. Well, I am sure he was so proud of whatever he loaded on there that he HAD to show his friend. Lesson learned, now the phone will be staying at home the rest of the school year. He got it because he was staying after for band, but they are finished with that so he has no need to carry it with him. Besides, the rest of the week is "no backpacks" because of testing.

DH was FURIOUS and was being really mean to DS. I feel bad for DS because it worked out OK in the end.

He got his report card today. 5 A's and a C in Math. But the C was a 78, just 2 points shy of a B. It's his best report card yet, and I feel bad that the day was ruined by the phone.
Excellent grades for DS! I hope the phone issue resolves itself and that it can be forgotten, so only the great report card shines through.

Thank you for all of your good thoughts.:goodvibes :cloud9:

So apparently I screwed up but his message said you can take the test Monday and have it completed by 5pm. He wanted me to take it between 1-4pm. Not what the message said. Since I did not have the paper and test in by 4pm, I have an incomplete in the class until those things are completed.

So am taking the test tonight and I have to get the paper so I can submit that. Grades are not due until Wednesday, but apparently he was doing them today no matter what. As long as I get a B is all I care about. Although I would love an A, as I do not want my GPA to drop. If I do not get a B, it is basically failing the class. As grades below a B do not count and can not be retaken. :confused3 :confused3 I really am not sure how that works.

Apparently the funeral was good for my great uncle. Except for the pouring down rain today.

Work was OK I had a few people ask me why I showed up. I will most likely be taking tomorrow off. Since I worked so much over the weekend.

I guess I am off to work on the test. I truly do not want to take it, but I know I need to in order to pass the class. I hope I do well. I would much rather take it tomorrow, but I know I will then try and push it off. I am in such a procrastination mode it is not funny.

Thanks for everything and have a great week! Off to take my test.

Jennifer - I can't get over how much Olivia and Virginia look alike. They are adorable.

Becky - Good luck getting the test done. :wizard: for a B.

Jen - Sounds like the interview is promising. Fingers crossed.

Janet - :grouphug:

Deb-Thanks so much for the offer, but I was able to get a flight for Saturday for cheaper than the flight on Friday night so I wont be staying with you guys Friday ..but i really appreciate it

So i am officially booked and will be in florida july 12-19 for some "cousin time!"
im sooo excited!

Janet - I think ISSP at our school is kind of a scary place to be, so paying $15 was the lesser of the evils! :scared: Momboss was blown away that we had to pay to get our own property back. But having cell phones at school is against the rules - says so in the handbook - so I guess we actually got off pretty easy. DS does feel bad about it, and he did admit that the phone did NOT ring. I told him he needs to pay DH back for the "impound fee".

Thanks for the congrats for DS's grades. :goodvibes He has Honor Society induction tomorrow. I got an e-mail today saying they need people to donate cookies for after the ceremony. Can the PTA not pay for that? We donated cookies for them to serve after the Band concert. Maybe they can take the money they raise from cell phone confiscations and buy some cookies!

I haven't had a chance to trek to the basement to download pictures off our camera, but JCPenney just sent me the link to our portrait session. :)
Mr. Solemn was actually Mr. Cooperative! :goodvibes

They are just precious, Amy! Love all the ones of Alyssa in her hat!

Nice, Nice

:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thanks, everyone. myBob asked me tonight if I am excited to be getting the new car tomorrow and I said, yes. He asked what I was looking forward to the most and I told him "having reliable transportation!" His response? "The new car smell." :rotfl2:

Funny you should say that, that's what DH told me when I said I didn't understand why he needed them.

He had the dealer put in a cd player, (I get that one), dual exhaust, (I'm sure the neighbors just love that noise at 4:30 am), and put on some all terrain tires, (he had specific ones he wanted but I know nothing about tires). He has taken it and had stainless steel nerf bars put on it, (I actually like these as it makes it easier for me to get in), a spray on bed liner, and had the windows tinted as dark as he legally could. The custom chrome wheels he ordered should be in tomorrow or the next day, top that off with floor mats, a steering wheel cover and he is just about done. :rotfl: He is also looking at tail light covers, this truck is a GMC Sierra and he hasn't found just the right ones yet, he had Dodge tail light covers on his Dodge that he just sold.

Chris had the above items in red on his last truck. This one has stainless running boards so far. He will get the spray in bed liner and floor mats soon. :rotfl: Of course Chris built his own custom exhaust on his last truck complete with dual flow master mufflers. That thing was SO noisy. I told him never again if he wants me to ride in it

I just saw that! I have never listened to a podcast (because I don't understand how to do it), but what sad, sad news! :sad2:

Jen this is our probable itenerary for those days

July 12 Evening Magic Hours at Typhoon Lagoon
July 13 Dinner at the 50's Prime Time 6:10 PM
July 14 10 AM Family Magic Tour; 2:30 PM Crystal Palace 2:30 PM
July 15 Coral Reef 2:30 PM
July 16 Tusker House 10:25 AM
July 17 MK :confused3

Those are our ownly set plans so we can work with you on meeting up. Meal perhaps?

Elin - Congrats on the new car, I absolutely HATE shopping for vehicles, I don't know why it has to be such a hassle. DH actually bought a new (actually used) truck last week, we'll be driving it to Disney in August. He has added several things to it that you would expect a teenager, or at least someone in their early twenties to want. I told him after this one he has to grow up, he is a PawPaw now you know. :rotfl:

This purchase was relatively painless! I ordered the quote online, communicated with the salesman by email about 90% of the time, did a test drive with no push to purchase anything, and sealed the deal by email this morning. Now, if the paper signing tomorrow is this simple I would consider buying another car from them in about 10 years!

Tia and anyone else who does E-Rewards -
American Airlines is dropping out of the program on June 12, so if you want to redeem your points for miles you should do it soon. They have also added 3 new places - Target  , Macy's  , and Starbucks  !! The problem is those 3 new ones aren't a dollar-for-dollar redemption - you have to use $50 to get a $25 Target card.

thanks for the heads up, Elizabeth! I wouldn't use the American Airlines redemptions, but the others are certainly easier to use on an every day basis. Boo that they cost 2x as much!
