Theresa - Sorry Cassidy is being a horse's behind. :headache: Seems kind of like shooting herself in the foot to steal from the fund that will pay for HER graduation trip! Hopefully she realizes that was a stupid thing to do.

Did you guys see that "Fantastic Plastic" has closed? I am assuming that means no more free robots? They have also closed the "Jr. Chef" area where the kids could make cookies in the Land. DS never did want to participate in that one, but he liked the robots!

Becky & I did the robots for the first time in March. We loved it and were looking forward to going back and doing it with my niece and nephew. We are both bummed that it is closed.

Jennifer - the babies are just precious! I cannot belive all the hair on Baby B (I assume that is hair!).

Tammi - I hope that Nicholas shakes this bug quickly. and, please tell Alyssa I am very proud of her!

I have no clue what to do about my mother. My Dr. said I need to do as much as it takes for me to back away with a clear conscience. She doesn't want me to abandon my mother, she wants me to turn ownership of the decisions over to my mother and just be an observer. But that's not the way I roll.

I have a hard time with this one because you are talking about decisions that have possible serious, long-term consequences for you - custody of your sister. That puts a whole different spin on it for me. If your sister was an adult, I would be more apt to agree with the Dr. Prayers & pixiedust: that you are able to find a solution that works for you.

Jennifer- Amazing!!! The girls are beautiful. You got some wonderful shots. I am so glad that you all did it.

Denise- :wizard: for a safe journey this weekend.

Elizabeth- Congrats to DS on his band competition!

They did test his blood alcohol, and it was under the legal limit. That was my first question to him. And he decided to go back to his old job as soon as he could. He says he needs the stability.

I am sorry that your mother just doesn't seem to "get it"

Tammi- I am sorry the Dr. didn't give you any concrete answers.

Bernadette- Yay for getting your sewing machine back.

Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting a dad of one of Emma's girl scouts friend. He had been serving in Iraq since April of 07 and just returned home this past Sunday. I cannot even begin to imagine what he has seen in the past year. He earned a bronze star while over there- he calls it just a ribbon. The interactions that I saw between him and his DD were just so heartwarming. She had a horrible time with separation anxiety while he has been away. She couldn't be with out her mom at night, just too scared. I have only known the mom and DD since November but am so relieved that he came home safely.

But it was almost an hour off the other morning. I know it has always been off 15 minutes or so but this was much more than that.

hmmm... I went back and looked when you had posted that the other day and couldn't understand what you were talking about. At first I was thinking you had forgotten about the hour's time difference, but that is always there. When I looked shortly after you posted about her being up so early it appeared that Tammi posted about 5:30 like she always does. I wonder how it got changed?

Thanks Elizabeth! I did ask Nicholas about the constipation and he said no. HHmmm...wonder what I can give him with fiber. He had some Wheat Thins and pears for lunch, and broccoli for dinner.

Popcorn! It has a lot of fiber in it. And we started adding Benefiber to Emma's drinks. She has the constipation issues, I know she can go days which really scares me. She will start complaining of tummy aches and I start upping the fiber content. We also found these tortilla wraps, they have 14g of fiber in them for one. I will make her sandwich on them.

Jennifer - the babies are just precious! I cannot belive all the hair on Baby B (I assume that is hair!).

Tammi - I hope that Nicholas shakes this bug quickly. and, please tell Alyssa I am very proud of her!

I forgot this, thanks Elin. Way to go Alyssa!

Nicholas seems to be fine, again. The doctor said he isn't concerned because the symptoms are so sporadic. Sunday night and then Wed. night. He just said to feed him a bland diet for the next 5 or so days. Yeah, right. He is going to hate that. Thanks for all of your concern. And yes, myBob is wonderful. He came here in the AM, took Alyssa to school, took Nicholas to the DR., picked Alyssa up from school because they had early dismissal, went out to his side of town to pick up his DD, and then came back and fixed everyone dinner. I popped in for a short time after work and then had to head over to the school for Alyssa's parent/teacher conference. She is doing excellent and is one the top readers in her K class. She loves to read. I wish her brother did too.

I am so happy that you found Bob. It seems that he cares for your kids as much if not more than their real Dad. You are lucky to have him.

Thanks Elizabeth! I did ask Nicholas about the constipation and he said no. HHmmm...wonder what I can give him with fiber. He had some Wheat Thins and pears for lunch, and broccoli for dinner.

Our doctor prescribe miralax for Nick and Hunter when they had issues. It's a powder that you mix with any liquid. It is now available over the counter. It works well.:thumbsup2

It's important that you get speech therapy started as soon as you can. When Becky was little, Katrina was the only one that could understand her. Chuck & I spent our days turning to Katrina and asking "What did she say?". Katrina was in speech therapy until 3rd grade. Becky was in there until 5th.

We've been through it with Hunter, but his wasn't caught until 1/2 way through his K year. Colby seems more difficult to understand than Hunter was, but maybe not as that was years ago :confused3 I know that we need to get him help as it will effect his reading ability as well as simple things like learning his numbers. To him thirteen and fourteen sound exactly alike and so does 30 and 40 etc.

Well it is 10:57 here in Lansing. Isn't that the DIS time as well? However, my post says it is 9:38pm. That is more than an hour off.

I'm off to bed. I didn't sleep well last night. I'll be driving home tomorrow afternoon. I hope to be out of Lansing by noon. We'll see. Have a great Friday all!

Glad to hear is Nicholas is fine.

Tammi you are one lucky woman! Do you tell your exh2b thank you every time you see him ;)
