We are also having a movie night here tonight. We got Sweeney Todd (which I won't be watching) and Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium.

Dinner Choices - in the long run we get three choices, maybe four with vegetarian option. For the tasting they recommend trying two chicken, two beef, and one or two vegetarian options.

Stuffed Chicken Aurora: Sautéed chicken breast topped with artichoke hearts, capers and tomato in a delicate white wine cream sauce

Grilled NY Strip Steak: topped with button mushrooms and roasted garlic

Tuscan Stuffed Chicken: Spinach, tomato, pine nut and ricotta cheese stuffed chicken breast baked and topped with fresh basil cream

Grilled Atlantic salmon: with cucumber dill sauce

Slow Roasted Strip loin: sliced and served with horseradish merlot jus

Prime Rib of Beef

Vegetable Strudel: Grilled vegetables with three cheeses wrapped in phyllo dough and baked with a sherry cream sauce

Chicken Oscar: Sautéed chicken breast with lump crab meat, fresh asparagus and béarnaise sauce.

Grilled Filet Mignon: served with green peppercorn bordelaise

Shrimp Scampi: sautéed shrimp with lemon, garlic and capers served with linguine pasta alfredo and sautéed asparagus

Garlic Infused Sliced Sirloin with basil bread pudding and pommary demi glace

Apple Stuffed Pork Loin with roasted sweet potatoes and sweet onion demi glace

Chicken Agnolotti: sauted chicken breast topped with sweet peppers, artichokes, and fennel cream sauce

Kathrin says it was quite gory and told me there is no way I would be able to watch it. I took her at her word, and according to numerous people I have talked to I am glad I did.

Mr. Magorium was okay...a little dark. Abi wouldn't watch it...not sure why

There are many things that I could do for Johnny Depp but watching a gory show is not one of them.

So far this show Mr. Magorium looks very strange. It isn't bad but it isn't what I expected either.
