I LOVE THIS!
Thanks Beth..Hope you are feeling better soon.:wizard:

Great job Anne Marie! Maybe I should do something like this. Not sure where I would hang it though, hmmmm.
Thanks Janet. I have wanted to display my pins for ages. I am glad I finally got it done. Its better than having them put away. This way they can be seen & enjoyed. I am going to put them in the Disney (tv/playroom) room.:thumbsup2 If you do make one, wear thimbles on your fingers! Ouch!:scared:

I'm reading the AlllEars newsletter. When did LTT stop announcing your name? I know they still did in Dec. I guess now they hand you a pager, I liked the calling of names & where you were from. Maybe it was getting to hard to get peoples attention :confused3

I will keep this in mind lol

Very interesting. Thanks for posting it.

That's too bad. That was a nice touch.

So the last few days have just been a blur. Joe left yesterday morning. Then it was soccer and Dr. Seuss night at Emma's school. That was a lot of fun. The PTA set up 6 or 7 different workshops and the kids/parents rotated between each of them. My mom came up with my niece and took the girls around. I volunteered and we made edible Cat in the Hat hats- ritz cracker, red life savers and white frosting. Very cute!!

Today has been :upsidedow Not bad just not normal. Molly has used the potty all day. :yay: (I refuse to get too excited, but it's progress).

Emma and I went to the funeral home for my aunt's viewing. What saddened me most is seeing my uncle. He is just lost. He told me that she was his rock and his heart. :sad1: It's sad that 75+ years together was not enough for him. Their love is the kind you don't see everyday. Tomorrow I feel is going to be gut wrenching.

I am off for a bit to get into my pj's and get dinner. I'll check back in.

Yea Molly :cheer2:

 for your uncle, 75 years is a very long time. This will be a very hard time for him :sad1:

It was okay--not my thing...I am going going to continue doing my kickboxing dvd and work out at home..I just didnt think the class was worth the money..

BUT i did the class last night, plus worked out for an hour today!

Beth - hope you feel better soon.

I too liked the calling of names at LTT.

Robyn - :grouphug: for you and your uncle. YAY for Molly! It's progress!

Hi Jen. How are you liking Kickboxing?

Janet - interesting article.

Well, the rain has started. We are under a tornado watch until 3AM.

I saw that the other day. And I said to DH that it kind of irritates me that the Disney CMs still say the room number OUT LOUD. Most hotel chains have really gotten away from that because it is a safety risk, especially for women traveling alone.

When we went last summer it was PACKED, and it was nearly impossible to hear any names over the din. At least a pager allows the crowd to overflow to the porch.

Yea Molly :cheer2:

 for your uncle, 75 years is a very long time. This will be a very hard time for him :sad1:

Robyn, I am so sorry for your poor uncle. :guilty: You are all in my thoughts.
I hope Molly develops a preference for the potty soon!:wizard:

that really makes sense..i never thought of it though!

MrsHeg-your comment of your daughter and the fire alarm reminded me of my brother. we were roommates in college. one morning i had my attendant turn the heater on and it had dust that was burning off. well the smell set the fire alarm off and my brother came running out of his room in his boxers because he had been asleep. the look on his face was priceless. we laughed all morning.

jen-lap quilt out of ties

Hi Karen, how are you doing? At least he had his boxers on :lmao:

Sorry to hear about your Aunt Robyn, Yeah for Molly!!!

Hope you're feeling better soon Beth.

Has anyone heard from Kristine lately? Hope she is doing ok.

OMG! :rotfl2: I wouldn't eat a sausage sandwich if you PAID me! Especially if there was SHOPPING to be done!
I was SO confused in my dream. I was thinking gee I guess I really don't know her very well.:lmao:

Poor Matty!

When Lizzy was a small infant and I was a nervous first time Mom I put her in her bouncy seat for the first time and get a piece of her belly stuck in the clip on the strap. I think I cried longer than she did.

I am EXTREMELY overwhelmed at work
 :wizard: I would be very stressed! I like thinking most of my job is "just a budget"-not really real. Well I guess it is more than that but I like thinking that way when I get too stressed.

In other news, my bosses wanted to try a new dry cleaners. I suggested we go to the one where my old bosses took their stuff. The lady there is really nice. She told me my old bosses are on their third nanny since I left. Wow. 3 in 8 months is a lot! I really need to call them and see if I can pop in and visit. Apparently Brother is just a terror everywhere he goes. I feel bad for him, because he is a sweet little boy. He loves routine and structure, and he loves to know that he has boundaries. I am sure the "free for all" atmosphere is just too much for him.

The optical place called and said one pair of DS's glasses are ready. I guess I should have DH take him over there after school to get them. I won't make him wear them to school until after Spring Break, but I want him to start getting used to them now. Maybe he will WANT to wear them to school! (Yeah. And maybe the moon will fall out of the sky.)
Poor brother!

Joe had an eye exam today because the school nurse said he "failed" his depth perception test at school. The eye dr said his vision is fine. :thumbsup2

I've ironed a couple dozen shirts today. Thankfully most came out well. For some reason a few stuck to the parchment paper and some color pulled off :scared: I haven't decided how to handle it yet. Maybe a little fabric touch up paint :confused3
I had that problem with Joe's pillowcase that I did in Dec 06. I think I may have just had a bad batch of transfers but now that I think about it I may have done it late at night. I saw your photos and yours came out awesome!!!!

So I finally got to frame ny pins.
HOW COOL!!!

DH called to tell me he has the paperwork to fill out so he can move forward in applying for the promotion. He has to turn it in by Saturday. He also has to have a resume, which means I will have to create one for him.:headache: I don't think we ever finished one for him to begin with, but whatever we had was on the computer that crashed. I don't even like having to update my OWN resume, let alone write one from scratch for DH. He said maybe he should just go to a service. He was joking, but it isn't really a bad idea!
:wizard:

Momboss called and I told her Princess is just coughing nonstop. She said to call the Dr. and see what they suggest. But their Dr. doesn't seem to have a timeframe for returning calls, which irritates me. DS's pedi calls back within an hour of when you leave a message.

I don't think Princess is going to nap today. I went in and rubbed her back until she looked drowsy but now she is talking to herself, which will lead to her shouting for me to come get her.
Hope she's feeling better soon!

Just a fly by post to say we are having a magical time as usual.
That is wonderful!!!!!!

DS just called. He said the poor teacher spent the entire class today ranting at the people who didn't turn in a project. She spent the whole class yesterday calling the kids up one by one to talk about the projects, so the kids KNEW this was coming! He said some people (like his friend) didn't turn in anything AT ALL. This is the same kid who didn't have his Science Fair project done when we went to dinner for DS's birthday, and the projects were past due at that point. Other people turned in a little crap piece of construction paper. I asked him who else turned in a good project but he didn't know. I guess they weren't out where you could see them. He did say some of the people used the board as a platform and built the project going upwards. Never would have thought of that! Maybe that's what Deb meant, but even after she posted about the mountain and the flag I still pictured it with the board standing upright.

The teacher said not to use a tri-fold board because those are too big, and not to use regular poster board because it curls up. That's why I had it in my head that it was supposed to be upright. Maybe the teacher will be more specific in her directions next time!:rotfl2:

I guess I am surprised that people didn't turn in ANYTHING because they had a LONG time to finish this thing. She assigned it back at the end of January and I thought it might actually be due on FEB. 4, but DS assured me it was March.
I would think he'd get a good grade!

Hope you find relief soon.

Its been like 3 or more weeks for me and while I am SO much better my sinus still hurt and ear still feels like I have a bit of fluid. I think it is just going to take a long time before it is completely gone. I am SOOOOOOOO ready for spring!!!!

At least you gave it a try!

It was okay--not my thing...I am going going to continue doing my kickboxing dvd and work out at home..I just didnt think the class was worth the money..

At least you gave it a try!

Yeah, i was kind of disappointed that I didnt like it better--but i figured that doesnt mean i cant still work out..Im so frustrated with my weight that i know i can keep it up--and save money!

I also decided that if i am still doing my working out in 3 months (the length of time the kickboxing class was for)--im treating myself to a massage as a "reward"
