hi everyone--just checking in..im all caught up! im off to work out, shower, and hopefully ill be back to chat

MrsHeg-your comment of your daughter and the fire alarm reminded me of my brother. we were roommates in college. one morning i had my attendant turn the heater on and it had dust that was burning off. well the smell set the fire alarm off and my brother came running out of his room in his boxers because he had been asleep. the look on his face was priceless. we laughed all morning.

Who bought Airborne in the past few years? They are settling a claim for false advertising. Get your claim in here:http://www.airbornehealthsettlement.com/index.htm

If you don't have your receipts they will file your claim for up to 6 boxes based on the average retail price. I only bought 2 boxes, and neither one was full price. It was either on sale and/or I had a coupon for it. But if they want to give my money back then I will gladly take it back! :thumbsup2

Just a fly by post to say we are having a magical time as usual. I hope to be on later tonight to fill you in on our trip so far. We are off to 1900 Park Fare for dinner with the stepsisters and stepmother. We had our segway tour this morning. Bad weather is on its way in tonight. Hopefully, it will pass quickly. If not, I'm still at Disney and a little bad weather isn't going to dampen my mood! :lmao: :cool1: :cheer2: :dance3:

Hi Vicki,

Glad to see your post. Keep having a magical time!!!!!

Deb - the shirts look great!

Vicki - so nice to have you pop in. Can't wait to hear more! :wizard: for no bad weather!

Wow, I didn't even know there was a suit. Too bad they didn't subpoena me into court. I swear by that stuff!

Tammi - I wanted to swear by it, but I just don't think it really did any good the times I took it. And I nearly gagged on the taste!:rotfl2:

I looked at my matrix last night to see if the bus situation at BC is really going to make me upset. We are only going to MK 2 days, and we have EARLY breakfasts both of those days so we'll probably just take a cab and be done with it.:) We're going to AK one day, and that isn't really set in stone. If DH does the fishing excursion that morning we may not hit a park until after lunch, and if that's what we do we'll go to MGM, not AK.

Hi! :wave2:

Kevin had the internet shut down for most of the weekend, hooking up our new computer. I finally got caught up today, but now with the start of the new thread, I'm going to "cheat" and send :grouphug: and :wizard: to you all.

Matty got his fingers caught in the door at our community center this morning. I was RIGHT THERE. :sad2: I had moved his hand, but he moved again, and now he has blood blisters around the tips of his ring and pinkie fingers. It just set a "blah" tone to my Monday, and I felt like the crappiest mommy every time he said "boo boo" today.

Amy :(

 You are NOT a bad mommy.

I'm so sorry I just pop in for 2 seconds at a time without acknowledging everyone....

 Jennifer, I have no advice for you, but I wanted to send a hug and let you know that I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Feeling so overwhelmed must be awful. You are already such a good mommy!

Okay, as for the BAD MOMMY award, I was high up on the honor roll.

Howie was 2 1/2 yrs old and he fell against the coffee table we had. Who knew that sharp corners are not good. He looked terrible, such colors on his cheek and eye. It did some inside damage cause he has a lopsided smile now.

I was also pregnant (very) with Guenna at the time. You can imagine the looks I got.

Then when Guenna was about 18 mos, she had two black eyes in the space of 2 weeks. One was from falling forward on the old staircase and she found the one and only nail sticking up on one step!!!!

So you mean that I'm the only perfect mother here?!

:rotfl:

When Laura was 2, she somehow got a hold of a pair of my sewing scissors when I was sitting less than a foot away from her and sliced her finger (to the point of needing stitches) in the 1/10 of a second before I could get them away from her. She still has problems with that finger, and the fingernail has an obvious defect.

Matthew fell down the stairs when I was busy with morning sickness when I was pregnant with Laura. I don't know why the gate wasn't closed.

Miles stuck his head through the railing while waiting for IllumiNations when he was 2. We managed to free him ourselves, thank goodness.

One day when I was pregnant with Miles, I slept through school dismissal for Matthew and Laura.

The list could go on and on. I still think overall that I am an ok mother. I hope that the kids think so, too.

Jennifer - So what if you gave them your notice tomorrow? Told them you will stay for 2 more weeks and then you are out, finished, never coming back? I know you aren't looking to make that rapid of an exit, I'm just curious. I understand that you are responsible for the things that happen during your tenure as an employee, but what if you turned in your notice and left now? What's the worst thing that could happen? If you have reports or whatever that aren't complete do they have recourse to come after you retroactively?

Princess is still coughing to beat the band, but Dadboss said she slept pretty well last night. No swimming lessons for us today. We do have a few errands to run, but other than that we have a quiet day.

Me, too.
:wizard: That Princess feels better soon.

My co-teacher was sick last week and went to the walk-in on Friday afternoon. They told her that it was a virus going around but not a flu. I'm pretty sure that I have the same thing. I'm still feverish, congested, headachy, and coughing "to beat the band". I had to go in this morning, because I couldn't find a sub. I hope I didn't infect any small child. I was really careful about washing hands and staying away as much as I could. If the other teacher didn't get them last week, maybe they won't get it from me either.

I've ironed a couple dozen shirts today. Thankfully most came out well. For some reason a few stuck to the parchment paper and some color pulled off :scared: I haven't decided how to handle it yet. Maybe a little fabric touch up paint :confused3

I can't wait to see them. Fabric paint sounds like a good idea.

So I finally got to frame ny pins. I went to Michael's & found a 16x20 frame. It had a large mat inside & a cardboard backing which is what I was looking for. I got 2 at $17 each on sale. Michael's didn't have fabric so I stopped at AC Moore to check, they had none..so then I ran to Walmart & got some plain black fabric for the background.

It took awhile to get the pins in a line & I have holes in my fingers now, but I am happy with the way it turned out. As you can see there are about 70 pins in there & thats 10 years of collecting so not that many relatively. Dana doesn't think so..he thinks I have too many!

With the glass in I think it's too heavy to hang on the wall now!

I LOVE THIS!

Great job Anne Marie! Maybe I should do something like this. Not sure where I would hang it though, hmmmm.

Beth - I hope you feel better! Princess actually stopped coughing for the most part after I got her up from her non-nap. Which is good, because her Dr. never called back! I wish she went to my Dr.'s office. The female pedi there is awesome and they CALL BACK if you leave a message for the nurse!

Deb the shirts look great & you are all going to look so good :thumbsup2

Vicki glad to hear you are having a wonderful time, look forward to hearing more!

Elizabeth I hope princess feels better soon :wizard:

Beth sorry to hear you are still not feeling well

Jennifer- I really don't have any advice for you but just know that you and your princesses (Kyle too) are in my thoughts. You really do have a lot on your plate so please just take care of yourself.

Amy- We've all had "bad mommy" moments. It's par for the course.

Beth- I am sorry you still aren't feeling well. :wizard:

Deb- Love the shirts!!! I didn't see anything wrong.

Anne Marie- Love the pins!!!

Elizabeth- :wizard: for Princess. I hope the bus dilemma doesn't stress you out too much.

Vicki- It was so nice to see you pop in. I hope you enjoyed 1900 PF.

I have read but I just can't remember all of it. So to those I missed :wizard: and
