Oh my goodness, seeing pictures of Lucy brings such a smile to my face :goodvibes

Hope Emma enjoys her 1st practice!

I had every intention of getting on here earlier and catching up but my "quiet" time was over before it began today.

Anyway, I thought I share some pics of Lucy. Didn't want you all to forget what she looked liked;) :rotfl: :goodvibes

Ditto, I do hope all is well with Dana :wizard:

Ann Marie, hope Dana passed his stress test with flying colors. :wizard:

And I second Jennifer, get a note from the doctor to take with you. Even if you don't need it, it will give you peace of mind.

Thanks Theresa! I was not able to order last month, there only times available to go to the Church & order was when I was at work :sad2: I tried calling to see if maybe I could stop in at a different time, but always got a recording :headache:

Hopefully I can try this out for April.

Robyn-Lucy is a beautiful, happy baby....love the tongue:goodvibes

Sounds like Dana's dr. is on top of things....love a dr. who is like that.

Before I forget....April's menu for Angel Food Ministries is up. I got March's and the chicken strips add on. So far I have been pleased with the boxes...definitely worth the $31 for it.

Glad no one was hurt Jennifer! Hope you can get the sensor fixed quickly.

well the dealership could not do anything. Jeff or I will try to take it to a mechanic that pepboys suggested. Jeff had stopped in their to see if he could find a electronic book for.

Listening to the "Ding, Ding" would drive me crazy

Oh & did I mention that Dana is radioactive!!!!:scared1:

He had to take a 2nd stress test at his Cadiologists. They injected him with Thallum & he ran on a treadmill to see the stress on his heart. After the guy put the IV in he tells Dana he cannot fly for a month (hello we are flying in 35 days!!!) because he can set off the detectors at the airport!!!! He also cannot be around small kids under 4 for a few days..OY!!!

My sister has had tests like that for a few days. Rachel used to sit in the hall outside of Erin's bedroom to talk to her. The time she couldn't be around anyone for a day or two, she would IM everyone downstairs to talk.

We froze the other night at soccer practice. Tonight I'm taking mittens and a blanket to cover our legs.
Smart girl! It was freezing out there tonight!
13.gif
Daniel is so excited about practice. he lives, breathes, & eats baseball in the spring.
23.gif
He got a great coach this season.:thumbsup2

 So what are you doing about the flight for your trip?
He is getting a note from his Dr. Thankfully we are flying out of a small local airport rather than JFk or LGA where they probably would strip search him!!!

I think its crazy they told him not to be around anyone yet they put it IN his body!!!

Anne Marie I love the smilie

Tell Daniel I'm counting down the days to opening day with him.

I did read on the DVC forum that someone had trouble at BWV as well. I haven't made it to the transporation forum yet to see if other resorts were having problems. All I know is that while we waited during our 30-40 minute waits many of the other bus stops were getting 2-3 buses with only a handful of people waiting (and sometimes there was no one at the stops for the 2nd & 3rd buses).
Vicki-the more I think about it the more I think I heard about the driver shortage from a bus driver. When I was there in Jan with Joe I noticed the bus service just wasn't as good as it has always been in the past. Nothing too bad with Joe but we stood a lot more often-longer lines in the mornings and one night after Wishes we rushed right out and unlike prior years when they would send 2 or 3 busses at a time they were only sending 1 at a time. We waited 30 to 40 minutes but we were pretty close to the front of the line. I don't want to know how long those other folks had to wait. I am glad I bought a stroller for Emma-at least she'll have a place to sit.

I really don't want Matthew and Noah to share a birthday, but since I'll probably be induced a week early again, that shouldn't be a problem. I'd like a 4th of July baby!

My MIL, FIL, and their adopted grandchild are headed to Orlando this weekend. Through a coworker, they have free accomodations , and all along, my MIL has been planning on going to MK for one day. I keep telling her she HAS to go in with a plan, especially since there are early extra magic hours EVERY DAY at MK and the park hours are 8 a.m. to 1 a.m. So yesterday, she decides to book one night at the Poly (3/18), with park tickets and dining for $750!!! Of course, now she has to book an ADR a week out, and she still needs a plan! As jealous as I am of their trip, I'm so glad I'm not going with them! :teeth:
4th of July would be cool but if Noah was born on 7/8 his 1st birthday would be 7/8/9 (my niece was 7/8/90).

Good luck to your MIL/FIL. As much as I love Poly Concierge I wouldn't want to be there.

My cousin is getting married saturday--we just booked airfare around 4pm! This is so last minute for me..im usually packed by now!
I'm sure you'll have a blast!

Well after stressing
1.gif
about it & giving myself an ulcer I switched our resort to Boardwalk Inn for April. I have been looking on the AP site since the rates came out & all I kept seeing was the FW cabins. I looked today (after giving up & not checking for over a week) & there was the BWI for $259 a night! $111 off rack. I ran it pass Dana & he said it was worth it not to deal with the buses. We are ending almost every day in Epcot so we can walk home each night.:yay: I wanted CR but I am sooooo happy this was available!!!
:woohoo: That is great! I'm sure you will love it! If you have lots of nights at Epcot you'll be much better off at BWI than CR! I hated switching monorails to get to CR and if you're going to take a bus you might as well stay at Pop.

Do your kids know about the trip at all?

While life still stinks...I have missed you all...so I'll post a bit more than I have.

I got an e-mail from my mother's best friend on Sunday, with "just a few questions" for me re: WDW. Well, she proceeded to ask about 50 questions in a stream of consciousness e-mail. Oy.

This is the woman who offered the idea to my mother that she would pay me to plan her first trip with her grandchildren. Then, after having already answered an e-mail like this from her before, I mentioned something about offering her assistance, but needing some $$ for my time (she doesn't want to do any of her own research at all). After that e-mail, she never sent a response, and it's been radio silence since then.

I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm being used, but don't know what to do, since my parents are BF's with her and her husband, they're good people and do a lot for my parents, etc. I've been thinking I should just help her out of respect for my parents, but at the same time it ticks me off! :headache:
Good luck! I agree-just a few links and a "have a great trip" is enough.

Amy - My daughter's birthdays are on the 21st and 30th of January.

Well, we found out yesterday that the MIL won't be able to make the cruise after all, , problem solved. Now I just have to pay the additional cost, I told my daughter she was spoiled, here we are paying more money to move down on the ship, kids!
I see that ELizabeth told you that her DS's bday is the 30th. Emma's is the 21st. Joe's is the 10th-poor kid just a couple of weeks past Christmas.

How wonderful that you'll be MIL free!!!

I also need to clean the guest room out as my mother will be staying with us for 2 weeks while my Dad is in Turkey and Greece. I can't wait!!! It will be great to have her come up and visit us. I usually go to her house, since she hasn't wanted to leave her mother, but since Gram died in November, she doesn't have that excuse anymore. She tried to use her dialysis as an excuse, but we got her appointments at the local center that is 10 minutes away from my house. Dad has been worried about her since her mom died. She hasn't wanted to do anything, so he thinks this will be really good for her. She'll be surrounded by my kids, and my sister's kids, and we'll have some fun!
I'm sure you'll have a great time and it will be great for your Mom.

I have an interview Monday at 10:30am for an Internship in the NICU at Northside Hospital. They deliver more babies than any other private hospital in the country (12,000 the years I was there), and it's where I worked post-partum and where the kids were born. It would be 3 12hr night shifts a week. It excites me, but it scares the living bejeezers out of me at the same time. The NICU is a tough place. I know I'd be great there, but it such a huge responsibility taking care of those tiny babies who are so ill.
:wizard: Hope that went well.

:wave2: everyone.

Thought I should pop in so you didn't think I fell of the face of the earth. Hope all is well with everyone, plenty of good thoughts, and pixiedust: for all.
Hi!

I managed to get some pictures uploaded at naptime.
How cute!

Advice please...

For Alyssa's Fancy Nancy party, I'm going to order pizza for lunch since Nancy, Alyssa, and most kids are big pizza fans. Do you think this is okay to serve to the moms in attendance too, if I also accompany it with a couple salads?
Sounds perfect!

I haven't been sleeping well because of the darn audit, and so I was almost asleep last night (a little before 10) when Randy's nephew called asking where to register his truck. While I don't mind helping him, he could have gotten that info anywhere and much earlier in the evening. I guess it's good he did call, as one of Randy's brothers had left a message on his cell phone that the oldest brother is in a hospital in Houston because of heart valve problems. Needless to say, it took hours to get back to sleep, then I was tossing and turning.

I'm off to work on audit prep... I can't wait for tomorrow to be over. I may have a bottle of wine to myself tomorrow night!

Jake has soccer at 5:30 tonight and also baseball, so he'll go between both. Andrew has soccer at 6, and both baseball teams are practicing at 7, so he'll go between them. Since it rained earlier in the week, all teams are practicing tonight! :faint: And, we're supposed to get up to 80 degrees today, 90 tomorrow! :upsidedow
:wizard: Good luck sleeping!

Your schedule is crazy!

Thanks for all the well wishes, but I think we must have the sticky sickies because they stuck around. Both boys are home today. Nick says that his sore throat is worse and Hunter now has the sore throat along with a headache and stomach ache. When I called the school this morning they said that it is going around and to expect it to last 3 days and expect for everyone in the family to get it  :headache: If we are all going to get it I certainly hope that we get it over the weekend when we aren't scheduled to work. Chris has arranged to get out at 4 today so my parents won't need to take care of the kids and be exposed to it. Dad will come and get my brother's kids off the bus at 3 in hopes of shielding them too. Will this winter ever end?
Hope they recover quickly and noone else gets it!

I thought I'd share our roughed out summer WDW schedule.
How fun!

Anyway, I thought I share some pics of Lucy. She has also learned some new "tricks"-Here she is clapping.

OMG she is SOOOOO cute!!!!

Have a great day, DDA!
Hi Beth!

DH finally made it home from work. That guy they "suspended" sounds like he is "fired" to me!:scared: He had some sort of funky fraud/theft thing going.
Doesn't sound good.

Anne Marie-does your Disney Store sell reusable bags with Mickey like the ones you can buy in the grocery stores now? I bought one today but it stinks. Hope it airs out cause it is really cute.

Anne Marie I love the smilie

I know how we all get late at night when we have to wait for the buses. Daniel usually lies on the pavement & falls asleep. Sophie just whines & lies on the pavement!:lmao: So to us it's worth it!

No, they have no idea. They think we are taking the cruise & going the Kennedy Space Center & then going home. I am so glad I decided to keep it a secret!!!

Anne Marie-does your Disney Store sell reusable bags with Mickey like the ones you can buy in the grocery stores now? I bought one today but it stinks. Hope it airs out cause it is really cute.
Yes we sell them & yes they ALL stink!!! :snooty:

I asked DH if that guy is married and he said yes. My response was "Well, not for long!":rotfl: I would KILL DH if he got fired for something like that.:sad2: I don't know how the guy is going to get hired anywhere else. Perhaps he should have thought of that before.

Bernadette - If the bag is permeable you can spray it with Febreze. If not you might want to save your receipt!
Princess's birthday is January 8, so she is in the same boat as Joe. But really, the boxes roll in from the grandparents for Valentine's and Easter so I don't think having a January birthday is going to be a problem for her!:rotfl2: She already got an Easter dress from grandma and now there is another one in the closet that I suspect is from the same grandma. It doesn't look like a Momboss purchase.

Ane Marie - I am glad Daniel has a good coach! DS would SOOOO love to play baseball. The one team we heard about is full, which might be good because those boys are mostly from a $$$$ private school and I think he might have been uncomfortable. The Y teams don't start signing new players up until March 31 so we will go look at the rosters and see if we can find any teams with kids from his school. That's the problem - he wants to play with kids from his school. I have no doubt that we could find a team with a spot for him, but it can't be just ANY team.

:wave2: all! Not much going on around here today. Tomorrow is the first day of spring break so Rachel is gone for the night. Plus, Mom's on vacation for the week starting Sun so we'll all be around. I think we're taking the kids to see Horton tomorrow. Then on Wed we have 8 (yes, 8!, we're a little crazy sometimes) people coming to stay through Sunday. 2 aunts and 6 cousins, plus a few more on Saturday for dinner. I think we'll do Easter dinner and egg hunting with all of the cousins on Saturday.

This was a few days ago, she was in hysterics over nothing

And these are her 8 month pics from today (just 11 days late)

PICT0049-1.jpg

I will try to check back in later. Molly has soccer practice tonight- her first and she is very excited!! Emma also has Brownies tonight so it'll be late before I get back. Have a great afternoon/evening.

Lucy is just the cutest thing ever. She seems so happy.

I'm not sure where my day went, but it sure went fast. I lost track of time and barely made it to work on time. We were fairly busy at work so that flew by quickly too. Now I'm home and Colby is up and very wide awake. He is trying to write words, but I must look at each and every letter as he writes it.

I thought the pot roast was terrific, but Chris wasn't sold. He is not a fan of any kind of roast. Too bad for him as I will make it again. :goodvibes

Nick says that his throat just feels a little dry now and Hunter says that he feels terrific. Hopefully both will go to school tomorrow. Nick was very worried about a spelling test tomorrow as he didn't have the words at home to study. He called a friend tonight and got them so he was happy about that.
