I am TRYING to eat sensibly this week. I had lost 2 pounds, gained back 2.5, now I am back down to about .5 less than I was when I started. Not terribly encouraging. There used to be a commercial where the woman said "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels." I keep telling myself that.

I need to get working on this, too! Good luck to you!!!

Debbie, I am glad you are doing well!!
Have fun doing Easter eggs! Princess and I need to do that, but she has just not felt up to it this week!
Poor Brandon! :guilty: I always feel bad for the older sibling when a new baby comes. I know they get over it, but I still feel bad for them. Whichever way things go, I hope that it works out! :wizard:

I think we are going to only do eggs at my parents' house this year. Usually we do them here, too, but I just ran out of time. I agree with the well-wishes. I know that Brandon gets so much love that he will realize that he isn't forgotten and come around if there is a new baby.

Hi, Beth! Headache, be gone! :wizard:

You are a good mom, Beth! Of course your kids are turning out terrific!

Thanks, Elizabeth! The ibuprofen isn't working yet. It's my sinuses, and I'm pretty sure it's just allergies, but the entire side of my face hurts. I think I'll try a hot shower soon.

I try to be a good mom, but I think that I could/should be doing better. I am kind of lax about some things (like screen time), but I try for a good balance. I don't think that we have done well with chores either. But on the big things we've done pretty well so far.

Yippee! The jackhammers are going already! The neighbor told Dadboss it would only be ONE DAY of jackhammering. If I am not mistaken, YESTERDAY was a day! :headache: Princess is coughing her head off and she is still feverish but we are going out today. We have to go to Target and I have to get shoes for DS to wear for band.

DS has the orthodontist this afternoon. We only have TWO more payments on his braces. :cool1: I hope they give us an indication of when the braces can come off. He has been really lax about keeping the rubber bands on so I have a feeling that will prolong his treatment.

Yay for jackhammers! :rotfl: I'm sorry that Princess is still sick. pixiedust: that she is better soon! We have paid off two sets of braces now, but looking at Miles, we will be paying for the third set soon enough.

Robyn -
Yay for Molly using the potty! What a big girl!! :cheer2:  :cheer2:

Another Yay for Molly here!!! :yay: :cheer2:

A late good morning to you all :)

Debbie glad to hear all is going well with you. Have fun decorating the eggs with Brandon!

Tia have fun at the zoo!

Hi Heidi, yea for a new trip planned!

Robyn sorry about the door & about your Uncle giving the new door away.

Elizabeth sounds like another noisy day for you :headache:

Deb hope you & Colby feel better soon, good luck with the home projects :wizard:

Vicki sorry about Easter, hopefully talking Disney will help you  I received the package today, thank you so much!

Anne Marie I am slow, but I promise the postcards have been mailed :flower3:

Marci hope your mouth heals quickly, sounds painful.

:wizard: & to all I have missed!

Be gone sickies. :wizard:

:yay: Molly, keep up the good work.

 Brandon, gram and pop pop won't forget about you.

Deb, hope that they catch the guy soon, stay safe. :wizard:

Vicki, enjoy your time with your mom, sister, niece and nephew.

Tia, I could not have that many people visiting all at once, even if they are family. :scared: Good luck.

All thoes dying eggs, have fun.

:grouphug: and pixiedust: to all.

I'm so happy for both you and Molly. What a relief, huh?

::yes::

Ditto from me!

I think I would take a job at TDS just to be a CM! ::yes::

Maybe I should go inquire at the new store that opened up around here.

Molly says Thank you for the :cheer2:'s Me too, because it's keeping her motivated!

Elizabeth- I am sorry the jack hammering is still around today.

Beth- :wizard: for you headache to be gone.

Deb- That's pretty scary about the break-ins. Keep those doors locked.

I am miffed about the door mainly because he will call Eric any and every time he has a computer issue. And Eric willingly helps him over the phone or goes over and fixes his problems. And he never offers to pay Eric, which if he had to pay someone it would be big bucks. Needless to say, Eric will not be helping him out anytime soon.

The log-in sheet is a great idea. Do you have one sheet next to each electronic or just one sheet overall? I love learning different parenting ideas from you all! :goodvibes
They just use a line sheet of school paper next to the Wii or PC. No sign in for the t.v. as they know 1 hr is 2 tv shows for them. They are also allowed longer tv time when we have a game or movie night (those are bonuses & don't count towards thei tv time as they are usually once a week.

I love all the ideas, too. I think I stink as a parent, but my kids are turning out terrific, so I guess I'm doing something right.
We all think we stink at one point or another. Your best proof of this is how well your kids turned out. Your kids are doing great so at the end of the day you know you did something right!:)

*THATS* why it happens then for me too! :rotfl:
Ditto!:lmao:

I am TRYING to eat sensibly this week. I had lost 2 pounds, gained back 2.5, now I am back down to about .5 less than I was when I started. Not terribly encouraging. There used to be a commercial where the woman said "Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels." I keep telling myself that.

I saw an article awhile back that Disney had already warned Children's Place that they were violating the licensing agreement by failing to maintain the stores properly. I haven't read this article yet, but it seems logical that they would be getting ready to resume ownership.
Good luck! :)

The CMs at my Disney Store have asked me to apply for PT or seasonal, but there are certain days I would be required to work and some of them are days I am with Princess. I was just talking to one of the mgrs. last week and he was telling me what the benefits USED to be vs. what they are now. HUGE difference. Our store was also slated for remodel, but I haven't heard anything else about it.:confused3 With Macy's closing they were supposed to be able to get out of their lease, so I don't know if they are looking at that or just waiting to see what else happens..

DS has the orthodontist this afternoon. We only have TWO more payments on his braces. :cool1: I hope they give us an indication of when the braces can come off. He has been really lax about keeping the rubber bands on so I have a feeling that will prolong his treatment.

Nothing tastes a good as thin feels?? Um, try telling me that when I am eating a Dole Whip or a peice of chocolate cheescake & I would have to say "This Dole Whip / cheescake tastes WAY better than skinny jeans O.K.!!" :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2:

I wonder what they were doing to violate licensing agreements?? Hmmm!
One thing to take into consideration is that they need you to work weekends & holidays. Like for instance we have every weekend from Thanksgiving to the week after Christmas blocked from asking for the day off. Everyone must be there every weekend. That was hard for me last year as both girls birthday were in December & we were hosting Chirstmas & I needed time to perpare. Also TDS works on a call in (at least my store does) where you get set hours for the week but also have days where they can call you in for a shift which makes planning things like Drs appts & meetings/outings at school rather tricky sometimes.

I worked at TDS for 3 days...by far it was the worst 3 days I have ever spent...
:lmao: Do you care to share what happened & what was your last straw?

Anne Marie I am slow, but I promise the postcards have been mailed :flower3:
Thanks!!

Elizabeth,

Horray for the last 2 payments on the braces!:cool1:

As soon as we are done paying for Katie's, Daniel will be getting his!

If I remember correctly Kristine's last straw involved stuffed animals.

Anybody else scared to go to the pump:eek: Last night it took $40 to fill up our little car...I am glad it only happens once a week (could be worse with Jim's commute:scared1: ).

I went last night to pick up Enchanted...I think Best Buy prices movies by individual store...works out for me because I paid $10 for the movie ($15 - a $5 reward zone gc) . We paid $15 for 101 Dalmations ($17 - a $2 gc) at a different store. I can't wait to watch them on Sunday:banana:

There are 0 people in the U.S. named Heidi Vosper. While both names you entered were found in our database, neither was common enough to make it likely that someone in the U.S. has that name.

I find that odd, since at one point I did have that name. :confused3

I see you don't exist either, Heidi!! :rotfl2:

Thanks.

I got the ticker from www.************** and it does count down the days.

the Contemporary banner is a new one for them too, I think. It looks very cool with the monorail slider!

OK, P3 over for now... time to do lesson plans. I will check in later. Enjoy your afternoons, everyone!

Hi, everyone!

Heidi, love the ticker. I'm going to have to "borrow" it for our trip. Rees will love it.

Debie, WTG on the doctor's visit! Keep up the fabulous work and attitude.

WTG, Molly, on using the Big Girl Potty!

Deb, I hope they find the man breaking in to the homes. Be careful!

Vicki, sorry you won't have anyone home for Easter.

Marci, hope your mouth feels better soon.

Tia, have fun at the zoo.

Beth, hope your HA goes away.

Elizabeth, 2 words: EAR PLUGS! Glad the alarm wasn't real, though!

Anybody else scared to go to the pump:eek: Last night it took $40 to fill up our little car...I am glad it only happens once a week (could be worse with Jim's commute:scared1: ).
I'll never understand gas prices. At our local WaWa it is 3.21. Three miles away, in the same county, at Sheetz, it is 3.13. How can it be so different. :confused3
