SHUT UP! That is wrong on so many levels! I can't wait to read all the fall out on Codes & Rates. I guess we will be KEEPING our AAA rate for August.

There are 2 codes to book AP rates. One with the DDP & one without so don't worry. You will be able to get the AP if available without the DDP.

We got a call last Friday that Jake is getting a citizenship award today at the 4th 6 weeks ceremony at school. It's been hard keeping the secret, and it's only been 5 days.

Yep, thanks for letting me know.
There was a note on TGM last night that they charts might be ready today so I got up at 6:45am to check them before I called for my ADR's at 7am. Guess what? I can do my own charts without TGM. I had all green days on my own. I think I will not be renewing with TGM since all I really want from that site is the charts.

Now I just have to figure out whether we are flying or driving in August & then I can stop obsessing over this trip. (Sorry Heidi! )

Since we are only there for 5 nights I can't see us spending alot of time in our room. However I do like the transportation with CR better since we are at MK & EP alot. Hmmmmmmm...

Well....I had already decided to get DDP but now I wonder if I should call back and ask to speak to a supervisor but I don't want my ressie tagged as a "bad" guest.

I don't know exactly what I'm paying per night but I think it is about what I ususally get-about $10 more per night than AAA.

Not bad! I am glad we don't HAVE to add DDP, but I am not very happy that the CMs can't get it right.

No AP rate for 4/24-4/29 on Pop!

I asked about the CR (standard vw, garden wing) but all they had was garden view/garden wing at $274 ($308 with tax) a night..I could stay at my beloved BC for that price!

I was hoping to make this trip more affordable not pay more!

I have never been able to get an AP rate at Pop. Well, I take that back. In December I got the AP rate after calling about 4 times, booking more nights than we needed, then calling back to take off the extra nights. But then DH said we should stay at AKL.
I like Pop, and 2 bathrooms would be great. But I have always wanted to stay at CR so I see the dilemma! DH said this morning he would like to stay at the Poly sometime. That resort just does nothing for me.

I was able to book my May trip with the AP discount & I did add the DP. Three of my meals I will be with Bernadette & her dd For my meal alone I chose R&C, hopefully I can watch Illuminations while there

Correct. They probably won't be out for quite awhile because they usually cover 2 months at a time. So the next round will cover June/July, and the round after that will cover August. Hopefully.

Not much to catch up on this morning so I guess I had better get some breakfast and maybe a little work done around here. I haven't made it to the basement yet this week so maybe I'll do that. Looks like in the past the AP rates for the first couple of days in August came out sometime in May, and the rest of August was released in mid-June. Watch the dates be through August 2 for the first release, which will split my 3 night club level ressie. That should be fun.

Got some new cough medicine cause the tablets just were not working. they were supposed to help numb the throat but that was not happening.

We are supposed to get snow today sometime. Maybe up to 2 inches but hopefully just a dusting. Right about time to leave work.
