I managed to get the bills paid and the checking account balanced this morning. My cousins little boy is usually a handful, but he was fairly quiet for the first couple of hours. He's making up for it now though They'll be leaving soon.

How long will the drive be, are you staying somewhere overnight?

except we are driving. AAA trip calculator says gas prices roundtrip is 275 so I am figuring 300. cheaper then flying plus I don't have to worry about my stroller getting messed up on the plane. I PM Robyn for tips to keep Virginia occuiped, but any body else want to give tips I would appreciate it.

We got a call last Friday that Jake is getting a citizenship award today at the 4th 6 weeks ceremony at school. It's been hard keeping the secret, and it's only been 5 days.

Got some new cough medicine cause the tablets just were not working. they were supposed to help numb the throat but that was not happening.

We are supposed to get snow today sometime. Maybe up to 2 inches but hopefully just a dusting. Right about time to leave work.

We are both feeling a bit better. Alan even managed to make it to work today, so I have the quiet house to myself. I'm pampering myself with tea and honey for my throat. It's still scratchy, but not sore. Thank heaven for Zicam!

I'm off to eat some lunch and head back to my conference. It's interesting, but getting long... I definitely almost fell asleep with the last panel presentation (which is supposed to be the most interactive style!)

mapquest says 17hrs more then likely. probably in Talahasse so its only a couple of hrs drive to WDW

Is that based on the price of gas now? They are saying that prices will be 3.50 to $4 by summer.

Yesterday I paid $3.09 a gal so the total was $37.00

Today the price was $3.15

Pretty soon I will have to take out a small loan to pay for gas

Thanks! The thing that I'm most proud of is making the exercise a regular thing. So far that is going well and it's the one thing that I really want to keep going. Last night I was stretching after my biking and I was able to touch my toes! I haven't been able to do that since who knows when, high school at least, but probably before.

Thanks, everyone! I still have a ways to go, but I'm determined to make my goal in time for our trip!

Now that I've checked my Chili's menu and know what my best choices are, I'm off. Terra decided that she wanted to clean out 10 of her stuffed animals so that she could go to Build-A-Bear instead of getting Disney Dollars with a little of her birthday money. I had said the thing about needed to pare down the stuffed animals before getting another several months ago and she remembered about it today. So, we're off to Build-A-Bear and then the birthday lunch.
