Lots of for John and for you. I'm sure this is hard all the way around. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help beyond prayer.

I asked Jonathan last night if he knew of anything off-hand that might cause this (he calls on neurologists every day). He didn't, but might see if he can ask around over the next few days for you guys. I hope John's appt. is SOON so you can find out what is going on.

Last night was the night for DDA dreams! I NEVER remember my dreams, but last night's I did.

Glynis... Bob and Kristin and I came to visit you and you and your whole family had you had a cookout/party for us. Although your house didn't look like mine, I noticed that we had the same teapot, china, stoneware, snowmen and serving platters. We had a great time, by the way. Thanks!

Hey, for you, my friend, anytime!!! I'm not surprised that we have the same taste (at least in your dreams), we're great women!!! Now, let's make that dream become a reality, shall we????

I thought that maybe it was just me, but I just showed this picture to Rachel and the first thing she said was "Is that Terra?". Since the great computer crashes I don't have easy access to that age, but that looks soo much like her!

The kids here have off the entire week for February vacation. That means I'll have 5 bundles of joy (energy) with me this week. I think we'll go bowling tomorrow. I also have work at 4 PM on Monday and Tuesday and I'm not sure which other night(s).

Sounds like a fun week! I hope that they all remain calm and happy kiddos.

P3 over... going to watch a little TV while I take a break from paperwork. If I don't get back here tonight, sleep tight, everyone!

And I need prayers for John. He has lost the sense of taste for the past month. Went to the doctor today and they are running all kinds of tests for some pretty serious stuff including MS, some weird brain tumors, cancer, and syndromes. He's very depressed and just went to bed. He's not eating. Between that and today, I'm now in tears and a basket case. He's my rock, the one we depend on. What if it is something bad?

ETA: Well, they ruled out all the little stuff today. He's not sick, no ear or sinus probs, sense of smell is completely normal. His tongue "feels weird" and his taste is gone, so they are pretty sure it's neurological. Now to find out which lovely reason. They call with bloodwork Monday and then will schedule an MRI or CT. We're both really scared.

I'll have to go back and look at when that conversation was taking place.... I know VERY few people have guessed correctly (here or IRL). Did you chime in then? I know another baby-gender psychic will be a little disappointed (sorry Heidi! )

I was so hoping it would be 2 girls for you! When we found out we were having twins, that was what I wanted. I was so happy!!!

Jennifer - Congrats to you & Kyle! I know different families with all 3 combos of twins so I figured no matter what the combo happened to be that you guys would be fine! I wonder if they will look alike?

I was terrified that my girls would look identical! We knew that they would be fraternal, but the fear was there. On delivery day, I worried myself sick about it! I was so pleased when I finally got to see them together. Mary had a longer face, and dark hair, while Leslie had blonde hair and a rounder face. We had picked their names out very early in the pregnancy, and once I saw them, I knew exactly which name went with which girl. Funny thing was, all the family knew, too! The names just fit them!

I wanted to go out with friends tomorrow, but i still have 101 temp and figure its not the best idea..so im thinking a day in bed watching movies may be in order!

We celebrated my Mom's birthday today, and had a good time. Leighanna's birthday is next Saturday, so I still have some more planning to do to get that all done! I know my party will be NOTHING like Terra's! Way to go Tia on such great ideas! I might have to copy a couple of those!

At least the sun was shining brightly today! Leighanna wanted to give all her Aunties and friends a big cyber hug!

And yes Elin, I think this IS the technical board!

Whew! All caught up!

I wasn't able to get on Friday or Saturday, since Alan had a client over, so this is my first chance to get caught up! Sounds like things are humming here in our little corner of the DIS.

Valentine's Day was really nice for us. Alan brought home a dozen pink roses, and some carnations for the kids. He also gave me a beautiful necklace of black pearls. He told me he knows about my obsession with Captain Jack, so he's decided to give in gracefully, and give me my own "black pearl." What a guy!!!

We took all the kids to see Enchanted last night at the dollar theater. It was so fun! The kids really loved it! I can't wait to own this movie!!!! On the way home, however, Jacob threw up in the car. He wasn't complaining about feeling sick, so I don't know where it came from. He's been fine, since, so I'm hoping it was just too much junk food!

Today we went to my SIL's house for a pot luck dinner. Her son and his wife are visiting from England so we went there to see them. They announced that they are going to have a baby in early August! So exciting!!! We are having an "emergency" baby shower for her on Tuesday night. Since they have limited space, it will really be people coming to visit and bring cash.

Now that I'm caught up, I'm heading to bed! Hopefully we'll get to sleep in, since the kids don't have to go to school tomorrow. The only things I have to do are hang some posters for the kid's school play, and make a cherry pie for President's Day. See y'all in the morning.

Kyle and his mom are so worried about this I guess I worked with enough multiples in the NICU that, at least usually, there are some differing factors that make it easy enough to tell. At first, I think even identicals often look different because of varied weights (so noticeable in tiny newborns), etc. I still smile when i think about you packing 2 nail polish colors though.... I won't go so far as saying that when they are finally on their way I might freak out -- but for now, I think we (including Kyle! ) will be just fine!

As for the names, that's what we're talking about, too. Most pregnant twin moms I know seem to have determined which baby is which, but I feel like I need to look at them first! We'll see!
