That's so interesting that they all do! Blue eyes are one of those few genetic things that have a lot more than just dominant/recessive, more simple factors.... so I think you can "get" blue eyes countless ways. But Kyle and I both have blue eyes, I don't think they have a chance not to!

I just heard a newsclip this week that the number of blue eyed people in the US is dropping. All 3 of mine have blue eyes as both DH & I do.

Genetics are a funky thing. When I was little my hair was very light blond. My eyes are blue. My mother has dark brown hair and brown eyes, my father had brown hair and hazel eyes. My sisters both have brown hair and brown eyes. None of us look much alike. I guess my sisters look more like each other - they don't look like me.

I mentioned the other day how my mom has 2 sisters, and all 3 of them have 3 daughters. In each set of 3 one of the girls is blond. None of the parents are blond. Not sure about eye color.

DH is a redhead (back when he had hair, anyway) with blue eyes. DS is blond and blue eyed with blond eyelashes, which he got from DH. My eyelashes are dark. Of course we are all HORRIBLY fair skinned. DH is freckled. DS gets a little freckled in the summer - mainly across his nose. It fades in the winter, though.

The twins I know the best are a set of fraternal boys. They resemble each other but I could always tell them apart.

One of my sisters and I look like twins (except that I'm about 4" taller than her). I sometimes have a hard time telling us apart in photos. One of my other sisters looks a lot like the 2 of us and the other one doesn't look anything like us.

In my family all of my 4 siblings that have children have a boy first then a girl. 3 of them only have those 2 and the other has a another girl and boy. Before I had Emma my mother had 12 grandchildren-6 boys/6 girls.

*My MIL and BIL have blue, FIL brown.

*My brother has blue, my mom brown, my dad green. So it definitely can vary!

Well it seems that I am finally feeling ok. My fever broke sometime Thursday afternoon. I honestly think it all stemmed from just being run down. I have been asleep by 9pm the past 2 nights and slept til 7am both mornings. It's been ages since I've slept that long. I think everything just finally caught up with me. Now I need to get the energy up to face my house.

If you book your flights & the prices drop, call Airtran & they will give you a credit good for a year. Now beings we are using these codes I honestly do not know how this will work. But so far I have never had troubles getting a credit.

Thank you, I got it. Now can I get $25 off of each ticket, or do I need to sign up Nicholas and Alyssa as well? Can someone tell me how Airtran works if prices change? Like with SWA, I can get a lower fare, without having to pay a penalty. I've never flown Airtran.

From what I understand, there is rumor that DDP would be offered free for those with AP's???? So I'm wondering if you have to be on a package to take advantage of it, if it does happen.

I can not believe I feel lousy again today. I must have overdone it yesterday.

DH is sick and the kids all have sniffles, coughs, goopy eyes and all sorts of crud but it doesn't slow them down enough. They are actually being really good right now so maybe they will let me take a little nap on the couch.

Good luck with your nap! I was TRYING to nap on the couch but DS insisted on sitting THISCLOSE to me with a toy. The toy has about 400 little plastic pieces that he was rattling together. I asked him to 1) stop rattlling or 2) MOVE but he elected to ignore me.

I went to the Dr yesterday and got some meds. Yeah the flu bug got me. Spent all night coughing. Hope this goes away soon. I want to be able to watch two of my grandsons on Thursday.

I didn't chime in....but last night we were in Target and there were 2 little girl outfits left and I went man I would love to get these but Jennifer hasn't told us she's having girls yet .

I was only off by a little with Virginia because Mac had Aidan.....so I do believe I still may have a 100% guessing ability

We also found out last night that Jonathan got a big work assignment he was going for. It's a pretty big deal as far as company-wide exposure and advancement goes, and they only select one person nation-wide to do it. I'm very proud of him, although it means I won't see a lot of him for the next month or two!

Lindsay-tell Jonathan congrats!!! and don't work too hard.

In my family: Jim has blue eyes....I have the ever changing color eyes(anything from brown to green). You put pictures of Jim and I together at the same age and we look like siblings. Cassidy has my uncle's bright blue eyes and Abi has blue/green eyes and until Abi shot up this year everybody thought they were twins.

Our day started out nice & sunny, but now our weather is suppose to turn for the worse. Rain, freezing rain, & snow I really hope they are wrong!

The weather here is beautiful today. 72 and just like Spring outside. The kids and I have been out here (I'm on the laptop) since 11am.

Garrett & Riley both have brown eyes, guess Gary's genes dominated over mine. I was really hoping for at least blue eyes with one of them beings I was not having girls I still love them though

Until they become teenagers!
