DDA Chapter 3

what do you all do to distinguish your stroller from the rest of them?

I've used (from reading about it on the Dis) a kitchen towel that you can hang on your stove or fridge handle. It was really great as it was pretty visable and we had a handy towel if we needed one.

Jennifer - Congrats on the milestone!
I don't suppose you can have a lovely muscle relaxer since you are nursing.

Bernadette - Hope you and Emma feel better soon!
Momboss used to talk politics with Sister on occasion. All sentiments I fully agreed with, but outside of the house those opinions were not always popular. Sister liked to announce things to her classmates, and that was problematic.:rolleyes1

Our cake lady just called to confirm delivery of DS's cake!:dance3:

your right no muscle relaxers.

Virginia is drooling all over the place and chewing on her fist. I know she is not hungry as she just fed.

Olivia is playing with her on our bed.

Well I am feeling worse & I sound funny when I talk..my chest hurts but I have great news!!!!

First, Katie came home with her report card. 7 A+'s & 1 A!!!!!!!!:cheer2:
I am so proud of her!!!!!!

:cool1: :cool1: Way to Go Katie :cool1: :cool1:

I don't always get my confirmations emailed to me.:confused3 When I went to WDW in December 2006 the CM who took my order for the MVMCP tickets spelt my street name wrong and I think it took about 15 calls to get them to finally fix it.

Hope she's feeling better now!

Hope Chuck is better too!

Thanks for the link!

Cool! Will you make the hat too?

I asked my guys if they would wear the hats and it was a unanimous NO!!! So I guess I won't be making those :rotfl:

Lucy finally started eating cereal/fruit today. I have tried and tried to get her to eat it but all she would do was put in her mouth, shudder and then stick her tongue out with all the food just sitting there. Isn't she cute?!?

She has got to be one of the happiest babies that I have ever seen.

DS got his report card today. A's except Math and band which were B's. His semester exam grades and his semester averages were all A's & B's, too, except Math. He missed a B for the semester by ONE POINT! :headache: But we are proud of him. He has worked hard to get through the first semester of middle school!

The insurance thing just frustrates me to no end. If I could call the billing office directly I could probably get it fixed.

Time for dinner!

:cool1: :cool1: Another Great report card!!!:cool1: :cool1:

12,000 Thank You DDA

Congrats!!

what do you all do to distinguish your stroller from the rest of them?

Our strollers have always had custom saddle bags so they were not hard to pick out. Remember I'm a crafty Disney dork :rotfl: :rotfl: The Mickey Sheets over the canopy helped too.

My kids are on the new student council at the community college and Chuck is the advisor. Bay de Noc Community College is based in Escanaba. They have had a satellite campus here for years. They built a West campus here that opened this fall. Becky is a Council rep for the Arts & Letters and Katrina is the secretary. The first council meeting was tonight.

I managed to get the fabric wahed and dried. I ironed all the fabric and the pattern pieces which I cut out. I got it all pinned and the material is now cut into the proper peices. I will not have time to start sewing until Saturday. Hopefully I will get it all done this weekend. I also scanned the fabric into the computer in several different places so I have a wonderful assortment of scenes to use for the boys designs. Why can't I use this motivation to clean my house? :confused3

Congrats to your Girls

My dad wore a hat like those. It was wild colors. My sister called it his Norman hat (from the movie On Golden Pond). Mind you, my dad wore blue & black clothes all the time when I was growing up so this was really wild for him. Mom did get him in some other color shirts as he got older.

Crafty is something I am not.

so hopefully pics of the shirts on sunday? I can't wait to see the designs you come up with for the boys.

and why aren't you on the council?

Because I don't have the time. It would require a regular schedule and I don't know when I'll be in Lansing most of the time. I think I'm down to once a month but I've said that before and it increased to twice a month again.

Chuck is an instructor at the college. I taught there for years before I got my state job. The year that I got the state job they called to ask if I wanted a class and I wasn't home (because I was in Lansing training). Chuck took the call and asked if he could have a class. 10 years later he is still teaching for them. It is Disney money!

I'm still getting some overtime hours with the project I'm working on. That is also Disney money!
