except this time that IASW is closed in DL it is down for a long rehab.

forget a long rehab it's looooooooooooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggg

but it is also the first one in a very long time....I saw a pic of the fiberglass bottom....it looked awful...no wonder it needed a rehab

tonight? hmmm... nothing much. there is a show on tonight about the great wall of china that looks interesting that i will probably watch. mom and dad are coming home tomorrow morning. they are almost done getting things squared away in austin. ok shocker is crossing her legs i guess i need to walk her be back in a few

I thought I'd try and share my latest endeavor, actually I started it a long time ago but just recently got back to finishing it. It is a powerpoint presentation of our 2006 family trip, I found a program, Camtasia Studio 5 that will record the presentation so that it can be made into a DVD. This is only part of it because the whole thing is too long for YouTube,

I gotta tell you, though. It's good for 15 minutes in an air conditioned building. That's just the right amount of time to cool down, or let your feet rest, or nurse a starving child. Works well!

I gotta tell you, though. It's good for 15 minutes in an air conditioned building. That's just the right amount of time to cool down, or let your feet rest, or nurse a starving child. Works well!

So, have I mentioned that my grown up "crush" is Hugh Jackman? Seriously, he's so fine! Anyway, Alan knows all about my crush, and just kind of laughs it off. He just told me that he's been in contact with my cousin in London. Gone With The Wind is opening in London as a musical and guess who's playing Rhett Butler????? Yup, my Hugh!!!! Alan asked Shelley to get me a ticket to the show! That's my anniversary present! I'm seriously considering hanging around the stage door to get his autograph! Am I a dork, or what??? But what a great hubby, huh?

my cousin asks me every day if i want to come out there--im so tempted, but i dont think i can leave my family here and come across the country..plus, theres that whole snow/ice thing!

Definitely! Since it's such a long walk from IASW to the Baby care center in DL, my sister and I found lots of creative places to nurse discreetly! Oh, we also found that Haunted Mansion could work in a pinch, but it's not as long as Small World.

Cool! I love that movie. I guess it will be starting at 6:00 here, since Face Off is on, now.

Alan and I saw National Treasure 2 a few weeks ago. We loved it! Not as great as the first, but definitely worth watching.

you are right....the girls loved it in DW. That was one of our favorite waits in line too...we talked (okay I did) to 2 lovely ladies from England...mom was punishing the daughter by making her go on IASW with her.

No, I didn't get the one that I'm missing. The person that I asked to trade never got back with me. I have to get in again and see who wants something I have that might be willing to trade.

Do you get two per passholder? If that is the case, then I can get a couple of extra ones as well because all 4 of us will be passholders this year. I'm hoping to go in December as well. Don't know if it will happen but we are going to try.

I'm happy to get the 1st one if Kristine doesn't for some reason and I'll get #2 in June. Just remind me before the trip!

I won't sew my fingers together because I did lots of sewing as a kid and teenager. I am just afraid of using the wrong stitches and having whatever I make look hideous when I get done.

I am sure whatever you sew will look fine!

It takes a good month for them to do IASW in DL. The ride is closed from Halloween until December 1st.

I just spent the last 2 or 3 hours going through schools' webpages around here and making a list of addresses/names to send my resumes too--whew!

It sounds like she didn't really stop and think about the increase in hours before she agreed to do it. I look at it the same way as me calling an employer to come home early after I agreed to work late. It's very unprofessional!

Are there any serious Star Wars fans in the DDA?

Do DH and DS count? DS has been playing the Lego Star Wars game on his Wii all day. I know we own at least 5 of the movies. Maybe all 6, but it seems like we are missing one.

I went to the Galleria to return those shoes and the shirts for DS. Today Talbots did have a size 12 polo so I returned one and exchanged the other. I found 2 more Wacoal bras at Macy's for $13 each! I saw a shirt I liked for DS but they didn't have his size. Nothing at Gap Kids, nothing at Old Navy. I decided to go over to the other mall.

Famous Footwear had 25% off the clearance price, and I had a $5 coupon so I got some Teva flip-flops for $7. The Macy's that is going out of business was a madhouse! They have 30% off everything, but everything is full price. I looked at some pants for DH but they were $60! 30% off of $60 for pants he will rip and get grease on is NOT a good deal! Luggage was half price, but there again, 50% off of $300 isn't that terrific. Especially since we have enough luggage.
