DDA Chapter 3

I only had one wisdom tooth and had it removed, without much hoopla, when I was 25 or 26 years old. I find it odd that it is exactly in the same area as all the trouble I have had over the past year...

Vicki - good luck to Becky

Deb - I am looking forward to seeing Chris' shirt. I am also giving thought to a different "outline" that you could use for the boys' shirts too. I will let you know if I get a brainstorm! ;)

This is an excerpt from allears.net . Any of you headed to WDW over April 22 might be interested in this event:

I also told you that in this blog, I would share information about a special 10th Anniversary Celebration taking place at Animal Kingdom on April 22, 2008; it's called A Wild Decade!.

This event is not an official Disney event, but it is done in cooperation with Walt Disney World's Animal Kingdom managers.

Do you remember my blogs about Epcot's 25th Anniversary Celebration and the group that held a 2 day celebration in the park?

Well that group, WDWCelebrations.com is the same one hosting - Animal Kingdom's 10th Anniversary!

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

I cannot believe it is the last day of January!

I had three wisdom teeth--i got knocked out and got them all out at once..its a good thing i did, because with the experience i had, i would never go back! One of the areas got infected and i had to go 3x a week to get it packed--it was horrible!

Good morning DDA! I'm up & already working! I've been awake since 4am CST so it was about time I got out of bed. :lmao:

Morning DDA!

The Photoshop class is interesting. It's geared towards mainly photo editing, but currently we are learning all the tool functions. Of course we are learning on Photoshop Elements...and I've downloaded Photoshop 7. Go figure. So I have to decide on which one I'd like to keep.
For those that have worked with both, is there a big difference between the two?? Like for example, thanks to Janet, I realized there is no paint bucket on 7 but there is on PSE.

myBob woke up this morning and left for work...came back in and asked for my hairdryer. Apparently our garage door was frozen stuck. Our barn door (garage #2) hasn't moved in about 9 days so that one should be exciting to deal with later today.

Everyone excited for Lost to start?? :teeth:

Tammi - that's a great page! I forgot how to shadow without looking at Photoshop. I think it's in the Pallette area on the right hand side of the page...

Stephanie, like the t-shirts. I have found I like picking out a design and ironing it on a shirt.

Long story short, I don't have anyones contact info anymore. (No worries it went through the shredder, so no one can access them).

Becky is now scheduled for an MRI and a Table Test. They found out her blood pressure drops when she stands up. They think she has neurocardiogenic syncope which means her veins don't contract when she stands. Normally the heart would pump more blood to make up for it but it must not. That is where the neuro and cardio come in to play. At least that is the way I understand it. The tests are just to get a solid diagnosis so it can be treated with meds.

I hope the tests are conclusive this time! DS has had several MRIs. He always falls asleep because he feels so warm and cozy in there.:rotfl:

The funny (or sad) thing is Katrina asked why Becky is having all these tests. When she found out it was because Becky gets lightheaded when she stands up, she said she has the same thing all the time and just thought it was normal. I also had the same thing when I was their age. I don't think it is really anything to worry about but Becky has to be feeling perfect or she wants to see the doctor. I'm really not too worried about it. Does that make me a bad mother?

Nope. You can't worry about every complaint. Does she completely lose consciousness and risk injury, or does she just feel dizzy?

Tammi-adorable!!!

Tammi, that looks great!

Tammi, very nice. I don't do crafts of any sort.

I don't either, and I will not be drawn in by all the pages that other people are posting.:rolleyes1

Have a great day, everyone! I'll pop in later.

PD to Becky! I hope they can get the results they need to put her mind at rest and get started on meds.

Here is my latest creation that I have been playing with for the last 45 minutes. It needs work, but I'm learning at least.

Good night everyone.

Great work! How is Alyssa feeling?

I'm not sure what to do about the designs. The boys all asked for their names, but they just aren't big enough to show the animals propery. I kind of like the Mickey heads, but we already have a bunch of shirts with Mickey Heads. The Tree of life is different, but just not quite what I was hoping for. At least I still have a few months to toss ideas around.

I spent the last 4 hours sewing. I managed to turn a couple yards of fabric into a shirt for Chris. I only have to do the button holes and buttons. I'll save that for tomorrow since I'm pretty tired now and my back hurts. I'll try to get Chris to model it tomorrow night. He seems to really like it. Then I can move on to my top.

Wow -- WTG! Have you seen the AK nametags someone does on our board? They are pretty cute. We did some for our trip, but Randy used the dark paper and I don't think they popped as much off of the shirt as I have seen of the ones posted.

Woo Hoo Karen!:woohoo:

Woo Hoo Heidi!!:woohoo: :woohoo: been there, done that.:goodvibes

I'm so sorry Denise. Third time must be the charm. Come on April!! In the mean time, get better!!:goodvibes

Love the office Vicki!!

You'll never guess what I've been doing the past couple of hours!! Making t-shirts! My DGD's project for school was to make 4 tshirts. One American flag, one star of David, one handicap shirt and a German flag. She found the images, put them into a document and printed them on the transfers and I ironed them. What fun we had together. It is almost midnight and we are just going to bed.

Sounds like a lot of work. Glad you two had fun!

Not much going on here. We're still having strong winds and grass fires, with more problems expected today. I did manage the elliptical again last night, before I watched the Lost recap show. That show really frustrates me, but I keep watching anyway...

Have a good day everyone! PD to all those who need it!
