DDA Chapter 3

Karen-great news!! Was it the job you pm'ed me about a couple of weeks ago???

Vicki-awesome job on the office!!

Elizabeth-glad to hear you got dinner out AND a great cake!!!

the 30 % chance of snow has turned into about 3-4 inches of the fluffy stuff on the ground with slick stuff underneath. How do I know this??? We had to go out to get bread and some things at Jo-Ann's for the particular Egypt project. In the hour we were out I would say 2 inches fell. :headache:

Becky is now scheduled for an MRI and a Table Test. They found out her blood pressure drops when she stands up. They think she has neurocardiogenic syncope which means her veins don't contract when she stands. Normally the heart would pump more blood to make up for it but it must not. That is where the neuro and cardio come in to play. At least that is the way I understand it. The tests are just to get a solid diagnosis so it can be treated with meds.

hope it leads to answers:wizard: :wizard:

:wizard: for her

Katrina and I will probably do some scrapbooking this week-end. She is getting her last three wisdom teeth pulled on Friday morning. She had the first one pulled over two years ago. She was supposed to have all four pulled at the time. She requested not being put out and the first one took forever! It took longer to do the one than it was supposed to for all four. She was miserable. She has been putting off having the other three done because of it. This time she has decided she wants to be put out. Becky had hers done at the same time two years ago and was put out. Katrina was miserable and it didn't help that Becky was eating potato chips a day or two later and she couldn't eat for almost a week.
:wizard: that it is quick and painless. I'm one of the lucky few that never got wisdom teeth. What does that say about me??? :confused3 :rotfl:

The funny (or sad) thing is Katrina asked why Becky is having all these tests. When she found out it was because Becky gets lightheaded when she stands up, she said she has the same thing all the time and just thought it was normal. I also had the same thing when I was their age. I don't think it is really anything to worry about but Becky has to be feeling perfect or she wants to see the doctor. I'm really not too worried about it. Does that make me a bad mother?

Here is my latest creation that I have been playing with for the last 45 minutes. It needs work, but I'm learning at least.

Good night everyone.

I only had two wisdom teeth. They were pulled 6 months after I got married. I needed to get them pulled before my insurance expired at the end of the year (since I couldn't be covered under my parents anymore). I didn't get knocked out and had no problems like Katrina. She really did have a horrible experience. She was so strong while she was there though. I was proud of her. She didn't start crying until we left. I don't think I could have held up like she did.

I'm off to bed. I have to be up very early tomorrow! I need to get the schedule out for next week.

Well, we won't be going to WDW this Saturday as planned. The kids and I are all really sick, and DD has the flu (even with the shot). Rees is coughing, not eating, and exhausted. There is no way any of them need to be going to parks or flying. Originally we were scheduled for Sept 2007, but when Rees got sick and was in the hospital for 22 days, we cancelled. Maybe April will be our lucky month!!!

Oh no. I'm sure you are all so disappointed. i hope that you all feel better quickly and that you can plan an even better trip for April :wizard:

:dance3: just popping in to say I GOT A JOB. ill be back later on.:dance3:

:cool1: Details Lady...We need details:cool1:

I hope the wisdom teeth and MRI goes well. Sounds like some stressful things.

Good night everyone.

Very cute.

I'm not sure what to do about the designs. The boys all asked for their names, but they just aren't big enough to show the animals propery. I kind of like the Mickey heads, but we already have a bunch of shirts with Mickey Heads. The Tree of life is different, but just not quite what I was hoping for. At least I still have a few months to toss ideas around.

I spent the last 4 hours sewing. I managed to turn a couple yards of fabric into a shirt for Chris. I only have to do the button holes and buttons. I'll save that for tomorrow since I'm pretty tired now and my back hurts. I'll try to get Chris to model it tomorrow night. He seems to really like it. Then I can move on to my top.

Woo Hoo Karen!:woohoo:

Woo Hoo Heidi!!:woohoo: :woohoo: been there, done that.:goodvibes

I'm so sorry Denise. Third time must be the charm. Come on April!! In the mean time, get better!!:goodvibes

Love the office Vicki!!

You'll never guess what I've been doing the past couple of hours!! Making t-shirts! My DGD's project for school was to make 4 tshirts. One American flag, one star of David, one handicap shirt and a German flag. She found the images, put them into a document and printed them on the transfers and I ironed them. What fun we had together. It is almost midnight and we are just going to bed.
