Well, we won't be going to WDW this Saturday as planned. The kids and I are all really sick, and DD has the flu (even with the shot). Rees is coughing, not eating, and exhausted. There is no way any of them need to be going to parks or flying. Originally we were scheduled for Sept 2007, but when Rees got sick and was in the hospital for 22 days, we cancelled. Maybe April will be our lucky month!!!

I would definitely consider it for regular use. If you just want one for WDW, I could send you mine to use on the trip. It is the original version of Playtex's Hip Hammock. I bought it from the woman who created them before she sold the idea to Playtex. http://www.playtexstore.com/cgi-bin/item/PLA05306 Mine is much better quality than Playtex sells, I think. It is a natural hemp outside and soft fleece lining. I used mine until Terra was 3 (or close to that anyway). With that it was a breeze getting her and our stuff on the bus at night even though I was by myself.

So you had the pre-Playtex version too! Wasn't it wonderful! I saw one for the first time at Disneyland. I was sold immediately, stopped the mom to ask about it, went home and contacted the woman with a question and order. Loved it!!

Deb - I like the Mickey heads. Is there another animal large enough to do one of each for the boys? I really like the AK logo as well, but the tree gets a little lost in the pattern.

Yes we can get quite chatty.

Probably not! He is a lurker! He likes to read when he can but gets overwhelmed quickly. He says our pace is too fast for him.

My mom had one when she was my age and felt much better afterward. Though it didn't stop the blood clots like they thought it would.

Mine doesn't sound like yours though. It was black nylon but not quilted like in the photos. The inside was like a soft flannel. The strap bothered my neck so I used a fabric diaper to pad the strap. I like the strap on the one you posted. I did use it for that Disney trip but not at home much as DH was the SAHD and I was working.

On that Disney trip Lizzy was 4 1/2, Joe turned 3 and Emma was 11 months. I brought a side by side stroller for Lizzy & Joe and rented a nice single stroller from ABBF. We rented a car so I had to bring 3 car seats too. I didn't find driving the car to the parks any easier than the busses as it was hard to get the double stroller in the parking lot tram. That was the only trip we rented a car. I did a towncar service the next few trips for the grocery stop but now we use and really like Magic Express. Last August I used Garden Grocer and had great service from them. I'll use them again in May (to buy some things for Miss (or should I say Queen) Picky) and again in August.

she hasn't had one in a while....not sure what they did. She has never been really forthcoming in her medical conditions....other than to say she's in some medical book, we aren't to go on birth control pills because they were considered a contributing factor to her blood clots and why she is in some medical book.

Yeah my mom wasn't too keen on me going on BC pills, but they did help for a while. Just now that they are not working as well anymore.
