Deb - Yay for the cruise!!! Boo to the almost abduction! I hope they catch the man quickly! That's so scary!!

Anne Marie - So glad that Sophie felt up to going to school today. Let's hope it doesn't spread to the rest of the kids. I always worry about that around the holidays!

Elin - Sorry that yesterday was so awful! You had every reason to be in the dumps! I hope that today is a better one for you!

I need to let y'all know that due to financial ickiness at our house, we are not sending out Christmas cards this year. I hope you will all know that I wish you the happiest of holidays, but I just can't spend the money on cards this year.

Today I'm going to be wrapping, and making cookie dough to put in the freezer. Hope it all goes according to plan. I'm really behind this year!

Your post on how soon you all are going reminded me....Abi's high school choir is going to participate in the CP ...I am just not sure when So if any of you go and it is Glen Burnie High School....there is a tall baritone that makes my daughter smile like no other boy.

Disney and all seas sites. Prices are about the same. Haven't spoken to anyone yet though. I'm very perplexed about cabinet selection on the dream. You have to go up several cats before the cabin is midship. I'm also debating on a verandah.

Yes the cabins are confusing. Some of the lower categories dont have a split bath either.

Beginning on the Dec. 16, 2010 sailing of the Disney Wonder and the Dec. 28, 2010 sailing of the Disney Magic, guests will have a new way to stay in touch with one another. Portable Wave Phones will enable guests to contact members of their party while onboard the ship or ashore at Disney’s Castaway Cay. All staterooms will now offer two portable Wave Phones for complimentary use during the length of the cruise. Guests can rent additional phones from Guest Services for $3.50 per day each. The Wave Phones replace the paging system previously used by Youth Activities. Parents can now receive texts or calls on the Wave Phone from youth pr,ogram counselors. If phones are lost, damaged or not returned to the stateroom prior to debarkation a $250 charge per phone will be applied to the Guest’s stateroom account. Guests can opt out of using these phones and have the Wave Phone service disconnected in their staterooms, and so avoid the possible penalty. This charge will be mentioned on the payment authorization form that Guests complete during the check-in process

Tammi - Alyssa was just beautiful in her ballet, and I loved the expressions on Nicholas's face as he opened his gifts.

I feel like I'm being greedy with my grandchildren's weekends, but we're taking them for Santa pictures Saturday and we're taking Brandon to wrestling Sunday. I'm pretty sure Aubrey isn't going to have anything to do with Santa, but we'll see.

Good morning...remind me why I moved down south again??? Oh yeah it was for the warmer weather! NOT!!! It's 20 degrees!!!

I am going to finish up Christmas shopping for my kids today & hopefull be able to wrap on Monday providing no one stays home sick. (fingers crossed)

Kids have a busy weekend ahead with church activities & birthday parties.

Christmas Recitals start tonight!

We will keep an eye out for Glen Burnie HS, but they don't tell you each night who is participating, just a listing of all the HSs that will be there for the entire run.

They should be there for you all!! Mr. Pinder is a big African American man and our group won't be all that big either. I did not realize they didn't say who is performing. The small group performed at the same tree lighting as the band and it really was small...less than 10. I just find it funny that my non-boy liking girl has so many boys fawning over her and one (or two) that makes her really smile and happy. I did not realize how big the negative impact Jim had on Abi.You all don't know how happy it makes me to see my baby so happy.

TGIF I have the weekend off. Sunday we are going to the Dartmouth UVM hockey games. Chris' work is having a luncheon pregame which is apparently their holiday party. I'm a UVM alum so it should be fun

Hi, long time no post
I have been uber busy. Was away for Thanksgiving in Rehoboth/Ocean City. Then had an awesome trip to FL. Got back had our work Holiday party in Bethlehem and just found out today I am going to a conference for work Sunday as one of my co-workers cannot go as her husband had an emergency bypass surgery today. My goal for Saturday is to catch up on sleep as I am exhausted.

Here is a photo from last year's CP. This shows only about one quarter of the students who participate. It is easily hundreds every night! But we will look!
