Hi, Elin we must have been driving right next to you! We spent the week in NYC to see family. Drove home yesterday & didn't get in until almost 11pm. It was a long drive!

We squeezed in as much as we could with our week. We went to a Met game , went to a Broadway Show, saw the King Tut exhibit (excellent), & went to the beach!!! The kids had a blast with their cousins. What a great week!!!

glad you had fun

Vicki, Thanks for your help with finding a tuxedo for Chuckie!!! I bid on a Starbucks bear wearing a tuxedo and won!! I only paid a $1 for the bid and then of course paid shipping, but a total of $7.89 is not bad at all. I have pirate material to make a cumberbund and bow tie!!! Another thing I can cross off my list!! :woohoo::dance3:

Sounds like you had a great weekend, Anne Marie. That would have been a hoot if we were on the road together. Actually, someone we know WAS on the road with us. A van full of people pulled up alongside us on 95 as we were approaching Baltimore and there were lots of hands waving at us. The Dad had on sunglasses so I couldn't tell much in the heavy rain we were having. Since they were from Virginia we figured it was students of mine on their way home from somewhere!

Too funny. I think that traffic on I95 gets worse every year...oy!

I'm under the weather today. I started vomiting at 2 AM and my stomache is still off. I spent most of my day in bed hoping that it would pass. I need to be at work in a little while, so I'm certainly hoping that the worst is past. I have to wonder if job hunting is creating the perfect storm so to speak in the tummy dept. Change is always hard, but it is time. I've got a couple of leads so I'll send out a couple more resumes tomorrow. Hopefully something will evolve soon. I did buy a new suit yesterday and a couple of blouses. I was reading what colors worked best on an interview and my black suit was not recommended as black can be overpowering (who knew) I also have lots of purple, but they suggest staying away from bright colors. In the end I bought a fitted light grey suit (the jacket is actually on order as they didn't have my size). The skirt is cute and I got a couple of grey blouses with geometric patterns to give myself a few options. Everything was on clearance so I think I spent less than $60 and have at least 3 outfits out of it :thumbsup2

Deb,
:wizard: Hope you feel better soon. Good luck on the job front.

Deb, hope you feel better. I hope the perfect job comes along. Good job on the shopping.

I just noticed the banner at the top of the page today. Free dining for select dates 10/2010 - 9/2011

now to think if I want to go for my Anniversary or wait till Nov. or Dec. and see if free dining comes out again. Then their is the deal with wondering if 2 pack and plays would fit in a moderate room, at POR or POFQ

Beth-Welcome home. :wizard:Good luck on the job front!

Elin-glad you're home safely!

Anne Marie-sounds like a great time in NY!

Deb-:wizard:Hope you're feeling better and something new you love comes along soon so you can end your stress!

Right now I would settle for being able to use my spa certificate DH and DS gave me for my birthday. I keep hurting myself doing DS's room remodel and I don't want to go to the spa with open wounds! :rotfl2:
What are you doing to his room? When does he go back to school? Is he excited for the new school?

Good morning, back to school today for the boys!

Bernadette I am loving your pictures, thanks for sharing :goodvibes
Thanks!

They won't let you book POFQ. They only allow 1 under 3 to not count toward occupancy so you would have to book POR. I think it would be a bit snug. You could stick one pack & play in the bathroom area but I don't know where you would stick another one plus a double stroller and one for Virginia too? I would go for a family suite if you could. It wasn't really all that much more than POR if you can get it with a discount. When are they going to be finished with the other side of Pop?

thanks I figured someone would know the answer. Not sure when the would be done with pop. I wonder how much it would be to upgrade to regular dining from quick service as that is what is offered at value resorts

Apparently there is something going around on facebook...It said I sent out a bunch of links, which of course I did not! So i apologize if you got one-- I changed passwords and am running visur scans..

Not sure how I got it as I got a link from someone else but deleted it, did not click--so be careful!

There are lots and lots of discounts available for the general public that were released today, not just free dining. Best place to look is on disneyworld.com or mousesavers.com as they have them all pretty well explained. We were delighted with our savings for the Christmas trip!

I am feeling better tonight. i think gingerale may have helped once I got to work. In any event I feel normal now.

We would like to plan a WDW trip before our annual passes expire next July, but there are so many unknowns that we can't even begin to plan. Hopefully I'll havev a new job so I don't know how much vacation time I'll have or when i'll be able to take it. Nick needs to take drivers ed and it will probably be over the summer. It is frustrating will all the unknowns.

I am so very excited... Stephanie and I got our cruise documents today as did a lot of those on our cruise. Way different from last year. I will try to post pictures this weekend.

This trip cannot get any closer,,,,,,I am so excited,,,,I wanna cry!!!!

Deb - I am glad you are feeling better! Planning another WDW vacation would be lots of fun but I understand not being able to "see around the corner" yet to know what you can do. I think in a month or so things will straughten themselves out and you will have a better idea what you can do next summer.

Terry (and Stephanie) - :cool1:  :woohoo: :dance3: :yay: :woohoo:  :cool1:
