Doctor went well. Cervix is still holding in there with the cerclage. Tests went well....they did have to use this vibrating buzzer thingy to wake her which greatly annoyed her. So I am to just keep chugging along. If I have contractions at 34 weeks they won't stop it.

Great news! When is 34 weeks?

:woohoo:Congrats on getting that done. That is a huge accomplishment!

DH just called. The doctor said she heard a heart murmur on Emma so she needs and EKG and she was also worried about Emma's spine so she needs and xray. He's on his way to the hospital now. Oh and her pee sample was bad too. Poor kid. At least both of those procedures are pretty simple and no needles and hopefully the doctor is just being super catious and it is all nothing. Lizzy has an appointment tomorrow so we'll bring in a new sample then.

:wizard::wizard:I hope that all is well:wizard::wizard:

I'm 31 weeks tomorrow.

3 weeks. You can do it. Hunter was born at 35 weeks and came home with us. I didn't have steroids either. We're praying for you and Jenna

We went to a 6th Birthday party for my cousin's little girl tonight. Good turnout and yummy food :thumbsup2

Tia and Kristine I just got an email from motherhood maternity and at the bottom of the add it was talking about Disney exclusive maternity wear.

Bernadette - Here's hoping the doctor is just being cautious! I'm glad that Emma was good for the procedures! I'll keep my fingers crossed that all is well. Jacob had a heart murmur when he was 6, but at his last 4 checkups, there was no sign of it!

Kristine - Way to hang in there! The twins were born at 33 weeks, and both weighed in at 5 pounds, so they got to come home with me. I'll continue to pray for you and Jenna! You've done so well!!! My twins hated those "cattle prod" tests, too! I had to have them daily for a while!

Jennifer - Sorry about the teeth! I have never really liked going to the dentist, but I absolutely love the practice that we go to now! We have 2 dentists, and they are both wonderful with adults and kids! My children love to go!

Deb - Congratulations on getting your resume done! I hope something turns up for you!

Olivia is excited about the Persius Meteor shower that we are supposed to be able to see tonight.

thanks!!

If I make it, they take it out at 36 weeks

whoo hoo.:woohoo::yay::cheer2: When did they say they would take the cerclage out?

Being on bedrest I have bought hardly any clothes.

5 pounds seems to be the magic number. Bill though that gadget was like a taser. Lol

I understand that. They have some cute PJ's. They have a couple of nursing ones ones a gown and the other is a PJ set

I would have enjoyed buying some clothes. Now I am dying for a hair cut and dye job!!!

My fantasy is to make it to 34 weeks, be allowed off bedrest...and then at least have a week to do stuff. We don't have a single baby item except the monogrammed onesie. That's it!!!!! Not one other thing.

Jennifer-I had dental problems when I was pregnant too. The dentist tried to say it was because I wasn't being as good about brushing because I was always feeling lousy but I still think it was something about being pregnant that led to my issues.

DH just called. They are on their way home. He said Emma was very good for the EKG & xray. Now we just wait for the results.

:wizard:  Hoping for good results for both. I am glad that she was able to get in so quickly for both tests.

Kristine- I am glad that Jenna is able to stay where she can continue to grow and get bigger. I hope Jenna continues to hang in there.

Jennifer- Sorry about your teeth, I hope they remain pain free until you can have the treatment done and then can do that with little pain.

I need to go for more bloodwork tomorrow. I have an appointment with my primary care doctor on Monday, as he just wants to check in with me. Then I have another appointment with the specialist and pre-admission testing on Wednesday. Hopefully that will be all the appointments and tests before surgery on the following Tuesday.

Kristine-it is great that you've already made it past the critical 30 weeks. Hope you make it to 35 or 36! Have you tried ordering anything online? Do you have a car seat yet? Crib?

Glynis-I was hoping that since they haven't ever heard it before it must be something minor right? DH said the nurse who did the EKG said the pediatric cardiologists work on Thursdays so our pediatrician should get the results soon. Hoping they will have news for us when Lizzy goes for her appointment.

I can't wait to get the stitches out tomorrow. My foot has been itchy the past couple of days. My appointment is at 11:45. DH will drop me off at my office and one of my friends will bring me. My doctor's office is only about 1/2 mile down the street. Then DH will drop Emma & Joe off at my MIL's. Lizzy's appointment is at 1pm. Hoping I can make it there (it is about 1 mile from my doctor's office) right around the time she goes in. I'm sure Lizzy would rather have me take her in.

So Emma was 50 3/8". Whenever we did Sum of All Thrills with the 48" height requirement they always measured her 3 times. She always made it but a few seemed to think she just made it. It will be iteresting to see what Lizzy is. She must be close to 5'. And I'm really interested to see what Joe is. When we went to Disney in May he didn't make the 54" height requirement to go upside down on Sum of All Thrills but in July he was close to 2" over that. I'm afraid nothing will fit him when he needs pants in the fall.

I have been just to paranoid to buy anything. The last hospital stay did not help my insanity. However, my mother is buying us the bassinet, car seat, swing and stroller. Which I did finally pick out online. I just need to give her the go ahead to order. And hopefully I make it out to buy the rest.

2 weeks from today I get to find out what I am having.

Very exciting :goodvibes

I completed 2 online employment applications today and requested a copy of my transcript from UVM. There are several more jobs that I'm interested in so hopefully I'll get a few more apps done tomorrow.
