Hello

I'm home sick again today. My stomache wasn't up to par this morning and I've gone from freezing to hot about 50 times this morning. Starting to get body aches and a headache, but I'm not sure if that could just be from laying around. I have to go back to work tomorrow come hell or highwater.

Hunter is feeling much better and Nick was taking cold sore meds this morning so I fear he may have something brewing. I was hoping that this would all miss us since we had our flu shots, but I guess we're just not that lucky.

I just printed the design that is going on the girls big sister shirts. My mom will iron them on white shirts and pair them with pink pants. It will be their Christmas outfits from her. She gives the kiddos one new outfit each year.

Does anyone think the cane pole fishing would be worth the money. It is $4 for half hr or $9 for all day. I was thinking Jeff and the 2 older girls could do that on the day we are doing MVMCP while the twins and I shop and then have a nap before hand.

I am tired and grumpy and feeling overwhelmed with everything that has to be done today. I think it's PMS. In any case, I really need to get back to work and stop spending time on the computer.

Put all of your tasks in a jar then draw them out one at a time. You must do that task right then. That way you can't put off the unpleasant tasks until later

Have fun Tammi--I packed sweaters and short sleeve, and a jacket in case..i hope i dont need it all!

It was cold when I was there. I had 6 layers of clothing on some nights and could have used more. I used the gloves and scarf and the hood from my sweatshirt. I had sweatshirts, fleece, part of my winter coat, etc. I could have used an ice scraper more then one morning. Staying inside, and warm beverages were my friend. I did the resort monorail loop 1 day and visited all the resorts. Another day I used the Friendship boats to resort hop around the Boardwalk, Swan/Dolphin, Yacht and Beach club.

I went to a work conference Sunday to Tuesday. Most of the time I was sick. I stayed home from work today, I went to urgent care tonight as I couldn't get into my Dr.'s until Friday. I have a virus so rest, plenty of fluids, etc is my directive. Let's just say I am miserable. I may try to go to work for a few hours tomorrow, but am not sure yet.

my youngest had her first concert here in Maryland....it was atrocious!! Both directors are disorganized and there is not a whole lot of talent in the GBHS pool...it was like the first band concert of Abi's career. Okay, maybe not that bad but it was a middle school performance at best. But Abi smiled and was one of the last ones out of the building...because she is talking so much

I finally asked Abi why she had such a problem with her dad...what he did. She said "Mom, I am an observer and from what I have observed he is just not a good man." Made me feel like such a louse for picking such a louse for her dad. I will say it again, she is too smart for my own good.

It has been a strange time...as my mom noticed, I have my down moments but I have been the happiest the last 6 months than I have my entire adult life.

We are having snow... I HATE it. All our public schools are closed because we are supposed to get 5 inches of the stuff before it is all over with this afternoon. I have four recitals I have to get in for my Thursday classes and if I don't have them tonight I will either have to shoot for Saturday or Sunday or try doing them in January! My first recital is at 4:00 but I have to make a decision by 1:00.

Jennifer - the outfits sound so cute! I can't really help you with the fishing thing, but I know that Alan would enjoy it. If Jeff is going to take the girls, I'd go with the all day thing. More relaxation for mommy and twins!

Deb - How are you feeling this morning? Any better? I'm so sorry you were sick, but hopefully you'll all be better by Christmas.

Becky - I hope you are feeling better today, too. What a time to be sick! I can't believe that Florida was so cold!!! My sister and her family just got back from Disneyland, and they said it was so hot they were too warm in long pants!

Elin - Sorry you have to make a tough decision! I know you'll make the right one for you, though! What a pain, though, to have to decide about the recitals! Wish I could take some of the snow for you. My kids are moaning and groaning because all the snow we got yesterday is gone! They really want a white Christmas.

Today is my volunteer morning at the school. Timothy and I will go help exchange reading books, then home for a quickie nap. At 2:00 I have to be back at the school for the twins 3rd grade Christmas program. They are really excited about it! They've learned so many songs, and dances. I can't wait! In between all of that I've still got peanut brittle to make and cake balls to dip in chocolate. Not to mention presents to wrap. Why, oh why do I hate that job??? I always put it off, and then it's very overwhelming! Someday, maybe I'll learn!

Recitals are canceled and reset for Saturday morning. The snow has stopped but not one plow has been by. With our temps never getting out of the 20s today I assume the snow will be on the roads in the morning too. Hopefully I can get my private lessons in tomorrow afternoon!

had OB appt today at 2 finally saw Dr at 3 mo change in dilation. but Sabrina is breech again. Good thing she is "B". I am watching the clock as soon as Jeff gets home I am going to sleep.

I'm sorry that the concert wasn't up to par, but it sounds like most concerts around here. Hunter had his band concert tonight. There are only 20 kids or so in the 7th and 8th grade band. They are learning and I recogized the songs Hunter did well on cymbols and base drum

Colby sang with his class last night and they did well too.

I'm glad that you and Abi are so much happier. I just wish that it could have happened years ago.
