She is not coming to MD...I am going to miss her terribly...I am hoping to be able to send her money to come for Easter

Oh no! I froze my patootie off in January. I don't want to do it again!! By the looks of the National Weather Service, the wind chill should dissipate by Thursday. I hope!

Survived my first day back at work. I was dreading Excel training from 12:30 to 4:30 today but it was really great. They brought in an outside trainer. We'll go back tomorrow from 9:00 to 1:00 for more training. I had a coworker drive me today-I was happy not to have to drive home. She'll drive me tomorrow and offered Wednesday also.

My foot feels tight (swollen) tonight. I've got it up and iced.

I'm glad that your first day back went well! I hope that the foot stops hurting soon!

We have Miles' 6th grade orchestra concert tonight, and I just realized that his dress shoes no longer fit (not even to squeeze into for an hour or so). He also doesn't have a white dress shirt that fits, but the note she sent about concert dress just says dress shirt and tie, so I think he can wear any color. Hmmm...does he own a tie? Can he get away with an adult one? I don't know where my mind has been about this. It's too late to run out to get him anything. I guess I'll send my apologies with a plate of Christmas cookies later.

God morning! My kids are going to be thrilled! It snowed last night! Not a lot, thank goodness, but enough that the lawn is buried. They've been lamenting the fact that it feels like March out there, and not like Christmas, at all!

I've got nothing on my plate today, except a batch of gingerbread for a class for Katie tomorrow, and some more cake balls for my bowling party on Friday. I'm surprised at how easy they are to make! I'll definitely be doing more of those babies!!!

Hope Tammi and the kids travel safely. Those of you gearing up for trips, know that I'm jealous and happy for you!!!

Hello

I'm home sick again today. My stomache wasn't up to par this morning and I've gone from freezing to hot about 50 times this morning. Starting to get body aches and a headache, but I'm not sure if that could just be from laying around. I have to go back to work tomorrow come hell or highwater.

Hunter is feeling much better and Nick was taking cold sore meds this morning so I fear he may have something brewing. I was hoping that this would all miss us since we had our flu shots, but I guess we're just not that lucky.
