Elin - Welcome home!! It looked like you were having a great time in all of your FB pictures!

Deb - Yeah for the interview. I hope it goes well. Good luck on your project too. Sounds like a good solution.

Vicki - Sounds like a good weekend with your family!

Theresa - Glad the competition and concessions went well. I'm sure things will improve with the director over time. You'll get him in shape! ;)

Good afternoon, DDA!

Nothing much going on here. Looks like I'll continue to have income for awhile still. My baby's mom just told me today that she's about 6 weeks pregnant. So barring anything serious, I'll have another one to watch next fall when she goes back after summer break. The timing will be perfect because then that next January or maybe the next fall depending on space, my now-baby will start preschool (either free or really cheap, can't remember which) at the mom's work.

That's great news. That will allow you to keep home schooling Terra and be home with the baby :goodvibes

Nick passed his driving test :goodvibes He now has a learners permit:eek: I let him drive home and he is pretty shaky. I guess I was too by the time we got home :lmao: My Dad has him out driving now. I'm sure Chris will take him out later and I wouldn't be surprised if my brother does too. It's a good day for Nick.

I went to Home Depot and figured out what we need for supplies to do our project. Hopefully it won't be too difficult. I've run it by Chris and my Dad and we are all in agreement that it will work. Why didn't I think of this 10 years ago :confused3

Christopher & his dad got their pic with The Stanley Cup. Chris was pretty excited.

Congrats Nick. Deb sounds like a good idea to your storage issues. Wish I could figure out mine.

Very exciting. I've never seen a picture of your ex. Bill is cuter :lovestruc

I bet I could figure yours out easier than I did mine. 10 years, 9 months to figure it out :confused3 To make it worse, The entire fix will be less than $300.

Hello. I'm more nervous about today's interview than I have been about any. I think because it's retail and I have no idea what the hours are or even much about the position. Too many unknowns for my liking. I have a feeling that the hours will not work for me and that will be the end of it, but I'm trying to be optimistic because I could be dead wrong.

Good afternoon, DDA!

Deb - Good luck with the interview!

I have a friend going to WDW for one day only looking for advice. They are a group of 4 women and will have park hoppers. They are looking for eating advice of "fun and different". Since they are going Nov 7 I'm thinking F&WF is their best choice for for those requirements and shortness of time, but any other suggestions of where they might go that they could still get into?

So, I finally saw the neurologist today, and here is his initial diagnosis,

Atypical Facial Pain /
Persistent Idiopathic Facial Pain

What is Atypical Facial Pain?

Atypical Facial Pain (ATFP), also known as Persistent
Idiopathic Facial Pain (PIFP) is a syndrome encompassing a
wide group of facial pain problems.

ATFP refers to pain within the territory of the Trigeminal
Nerve (it can extend into the upper neck or back of the scalp
as well) that does not fit the classic presentation of other
head and neck neuralgias.

The duration of pain is usually long, lasting most of the day (if
not continuous). Pain is one-sided and without autonomic
signs or symptoms.

It is described as a severe ache, crushing sensation or
burning sensation.

Recent studies propose that ATFP is an early form of
trigeminal neuralgia (TN). Indeed, some patients have
components of both ATFP and TN symptoms.

What are the Signs & Symptoms of Atypical Facial Pain?

The International Headache Society defines ATFP as the
following:

Pain is in the face

Pain is present daily and persists for all or most of the
day

Pain is confined at onset to a limited area on one side of
the face, deep ache, and poorly localised

In addition, the pain is not associated with numbness or
tingling or other physical signs with no abnormalities in
laboratory or imaging studies.

Within the group of chronic facial pain syndromes, ATFP
represents a diagnostic challenge. Patients frequently are
misdiagnosed or attribute their pain to a prior event such as a
dental procedure or facial trauma.

Depression and anxiety are prevalent in this population and
compound the diagnostic puzzle.

The estimated incidence of ATFP is 1 in a 100,000, although
this number may be an underestimate. ATFP affects both
sexes approximately equally but more women than men seek
medical care. ATFP mainly affects adults and is rare in
children.

I'm hoping the meds he has started me on will do the trick.

Deb - Congratulations to Nick, good luck on the job front

Elin - Welcome home
