What are these???

What are these???

That's one of the newest designs of those Vinylmations they sell at Disney parks. Mickey shapes with different themes.

This set is called the eyes collection and there are a bunch of different characters. Not all are clear at the top, but I guess that's supposed to be Buzz's helmet.

Okay, not that sounds like a good idea! I can live with some of the more plain or abstract ones. Not a fan, but they aren't that bad. These eye ones are freaking me out.
The one you posted looks like he has a butt on his legs... :rotfl:

They are totally weird. This one isn't too bad though...

I guess there is a big white Vinylmation Mickey in the store that the characters have signed and it just looks really neat.

Now these are cool too! I didn't think it was possible that I would be interested in any of them. However, the white one for autographs and these condiment bottles would tempt me.

Those are creepy!!!

Crazy Day. I got to work this morning and found out that I was taking the boy on a field trip to a farm. I had no idea and wasn't dress to be walking around a farm. None the less we went. Apparently on past visits he usually didn't make it out of the van or off the driveway and his aide would take him back. Not today. He stayed the entire time and even participated some. He was actually very well behaved today and even quiet during the lock down. That is it for subbing for me this year. I need my days to complete projects as my nights are full.

At 5:30 Colby has his last Lacrosse game and then I'm off to work.
Sounds like you did a great job with him!

I've been here in July remember? :lmao:

Which reminds me....who wants to go out with me for my last birthday before I hit the 40's??? I thought I would try and do something fun for my birthday weekend July 10th and 11th?
OK.....I knew you were younger than me but I didn't remember 10 years younger. Glad you're settling in.

I went to middle school orientation tonight for Lizzy.:scared1: I don't know how she's going to handle this or DH. She'll have 5 academic classes a day (math, english, social studies, foreign language, & science) and 2 electives (band, art, gym, technology...). They have A/B/C days with rotating electives. They start week one with period one but week 2 starts with period 2 and period 1 is at the end of the day. They do a week long school trip in September too. OH...and the bus comes at 6:50am. Should be quite the transition!!!

Vicki - Isn't that story just so sweet!

Deb - Glad you had a good day of subbing today, despite the surprises.

Bernadette - Big changes ahead, I'm sure! Good luck to you all with them. Kristi just had to decide between a 40 hour/wk position and 28 hour/wk position. The biggest downside to the 40 was that she'd be gone Mon-Thurs nights. Chris does not do homework time and chore time well so we all suggested the 28 hour position for that reason alone. It would have been a rough school year otherwise. (Plus, that schedule allows her to start building her own clientele so that she can get her own practice up and running and leave the screwy place she's at.)

Well, I'm just finishing up the last bit of packing. Terra got too tired and forgot she was getting movies together so I've got to go do that for her for the car. Otherwise, I think we're good. I should go help Rachel double check her stuff though, as well. Apparently she packed at midnight on Saturday so she doesn't quite know what she packed or what she may have forgotten.

We'll be back Sunday night sometime, but will probably be back to a computer at least briefly on Saturday. Have a great weekend everyone!

How exciting! I'm sure she'll adapt after a few weeks. DH, I'm not so sure. ;)

Good morning! I work up this morning remembering that I forgot to send my aunt some tourist ideas for her friend coming to St. Louis. Between thinking about that and having to go to the bathroom there was no go back to sleep. So, I'm up a little early. Just about time to get showered and loaded up though.

See you all soon.

Good morning, DDA! I'm in a better mood today, though it looks like I'm going to need to put a second coat of paint on the walls. Last night we were thinking that one coat was actually going to be enough. The coverage of this paint is really good, but there are a couple of areas that I didn't quite get enough paint on. I think if I were a little more careful, one coat would have done it. Oh, well...what's one more day to make sure it's done correctly?

Well our home repairs were not as bad I had feared! :thumbsup2 Today I am getting my hair done & boy it really needs it, I look like a sheepdog right now (& no I am not posting pictures of me looking like a sheepdog!:rotfl2:)

After that I have to get giftcards for the teachers..not sure which to get though. I bought them Starbucks cards at Christmas & did not want to do that again...maybe Target? Everyone can use a Target card right? :confused3

Bernadette,
That is our bus schedule too...:headache: even for elementary. :sad2: My kids are very used to it but I still hate getting up that early everyday. Also their course change like that too & they totally know what day they have ahead. I am sure Lizzy will adapt perfectly.:goodvibes
