:bday:party::cake:Happy Birthday Tia!!!:cake:party::bday:

I was having trouble with the same thing. I had had the cortisone shots and then I found out that Crocs have a style just for that problem. I love them. They are not a cure all, but they feel great. I have found that crocs just feel better all over. Yes I still have pain sometimes, but not so that I feel that I have to get any more cortisone shots right now. I don't want to even think about surgery cause that does not always end the problem. It can come back.

Maybe I should try those-they mention that they are good for bunions with a wide toe box. I didn't bring my "regular" crocs on this trip. I had my croc flip flops that by the mid trip I started carrying into the parks and would put them on as we were headed out of the park. That worked pretty well. I couldn't wear them all day but they gave me some relief at the end of the day.

I'm finally home. What an incredibly long day. Hunter scored a goal in his game. I got to see it :cool1: His team did lose though :sad1: I rushed straight from the game to work and bartended for 3 1/2 hours. My feet are killing me from standing so long today. Tomorrow is another killer day.
:woohoo:Congrats to Hunter!!! Hope today isn't too bad.

If it's something that helped, I would like to know what it is. If I remember to keep my hamstrings and calf stretched, my foot pain does seem better. I think that I do need to stretch the foot, too. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not doing the Segway tour with them then.
I don't think she's had too much trouble since she got relief with whatever she did-it take a while for it to work but it did eventually work. She swears by her fit flops. I haven't tried those.

Thanks for the recommendation! I have been looking at Crocs, but I'm afraid to spend $50+ on shoes that I could end up hating. It's good to hear from someone who has experience. Mine isn't to the point of shots, but there are mornings that I really have difficulty.
You don't want to know what I paid for my Ecco sandals that I wore one time for dinner on my trip that gave me a blister.:headache:

Katie & I are going to see "Rent" today...can't wait.
How fun!!!

I am still really torn about what to do for July. Part of me says I shouldn't let 1 person who was cold to me ruin another wise good experience and he did lighten up by the end of the trip. Another small annoyance was that you could only get ice tea in the afternoon-at Poly & AKL they had it available until they closed. I guess I could just be sure to bring a refillable cup/bottle that I could take some in the afternoon and put in the fridge for later in the day.

I like the idea of the large 1BR unit with 2 bathrooms and a washer/dryer. I like the idea of the activities at AKL. I think DH would like the quiet/away from the parks of AKL. I am worried about the lack of quick service at Kidani but the walk to Jambo wouldn't be that much further than the walk from my original room to the Boardwalk for quick service. To be honest I also think DH would like the theme of the BW and he does enjoy the CL service. He did say he like the family suite we had but I don't think I want to pay summer rates for a value when I can get a deluxe at value rates.

I have thought about just switching to a "regular" room at BC.

Of course the Disney reservation site is down so I can't check availability.

Dad finally got to come home last night, during his procedure he got air in his chest cavity which in turn was compressing his lung.

I've been trying to decipher my MRI results, I think they should rewrite them in plain english for those of us without a medical degree.

Happy Birthday, Tia! :goodvibes

Bernadette, my foot felt OK yesterday, but I didn't walk much in the sandals. My foot actually feels best when I wear plain Crocs. :confused3 I am not sure what shoes I'll bring to WDW.

Debbie, glad your dad is on the mend! Your surgery is Wednesday? :wizard:

Anne Marie, DS would be SOOOO jealous. "Rent" isn't part of any of the seasons/series currently running here. We will see "Wicked" in June, but then we are finished with our subscription. I looked at Beauty & the Beast tickets but the really BAD seats were $50 each. I am not sure when they release the show listings for 2011.

Yes Wednesday at 7 am, I know it sounds a little dramatic but I just finished typing a letter to DH, not that I expect anything to happen but there are so many things that I take care of that if he were left alone he probably wouldn't know where to start. I'll tell him where it is when we get to the hospital.

Mine bothered me right away. I knew I should have returned them.

Don't you need 2 pairs of shoes for every day?

I am sure everything will be fine! But I can understand your concern. I think most DHs would be lost without their wives to handle things. Better to write the letter and have peace of mind, even though I am sure it wasn't necessary. :goodvibes

Bernadette, no, not 2 pairs for every day. :rotfl2: I don't own 30 pairs of shoes.

I will bring 2 pairs of Crocs (maybe 3), the Eccos, the Tevas, my "dressier" Clarks sandals, and maybe my Privos. The Privos got rained on last year and now they smell. I bought some footbed spray when I bought the Eccos but I don't have much hope that it will help. The Privos also don't have much cushion.

DH likes his new Tevas. He likes them better than the Eccos I bought him a couple of years ago, which makes no sense. :sad2:

DS has a pair of black and a pair of white New Balance sneakers. They are identical except for color. We have already had some rousing "discussions" about which color to bring on vacation. He also has 2 pairs of Eccos sandals and a pair of Tevas.

We ALL have Crocs in the OL from Magical Express losing our bag, but those Crocs have only been worn for half a day - I am afraid they will blister my feet! :scared:

I'm driving myself crazy with my July resort decision.

The Disney website was back up so I could check to see what I could get at an AP discount. I could NOT book what I have now....

I could NOT book ASMu family suite and 2 values rooms would be the same as 1 standard room at BC so I don't want to do a value.

I could get a standard room at BC but not Club. I could get Club at YC. I could get both outer building and main building club at GF (for a lot more than I paying now). I could get a 1BR at Kidani but it is about $45 more per night than what I have now.

I could get MKview at CR but not club there.

You would thinking after nearly 30 trips picking a resort would be easy.:confused3

I'm watching the chowdown countdown on the travel channel and getting very hungry.

Rent was wonderful! :goodvibes The performers voices were fantastic. When they sang "Seasons of Love" I literally got goose bumps they were so good. Katie loved the show.

At the end of the performance they were selling items some signed by the original cast with the proceeds going to Broadway Cares so I got Katie a show poster. What a nice time.:)

I think it is a smart move, Debbie. I would do the same thing.

Anne Marie - I am delighted to hear that you and Katie had a good time at "Rent" :goodvibes

Debbie, I sure hope that your dh doesn't need that letter. I remember praying when I went in for my gallbladder surgery that nothing go wrong, because I hadn't had a chance to tell my parents that I was even having surgery. Any surgery is scary when you are going through it. Much pixiedust: for you!

Anne Marie, I'm glad that you had a good time. I've always wanted to see Rent.

Here is Laura before the prom. I don't know how any of the others feel about me posting photos, so you just get her. ;)

I don't think she's had too much trouble since she got relief with whatever she did-it take a while for it to work but it did eventually work. She swears by her fit flops. I haven't tried those.

You don't want to know what I paid for my Ecco sandals that I wore one time for dinner on my trip that gave me a blister.:headache:

I'm not sure how I feel about flip flops. I think the piece between the toes would bother me, but I guess I could try. I wouldn't mind spending money on shoes if I knew that I would actually wear them and they would be comfortable. I have a pair of Tevas that I loved, but the last time I wore them, I got a blister on the bottom of my foot. That was painful. I don't know if I just need a new pair or what. :confused3 I guess I need to figure it out soon, so I can get something broken in.

I have tried to post this a few times today.

I hope you are all doing well. My busy life continues, although I did not end up at camp all weekend so I have a bit more time at home. I guess that means I should think about packing after all I am leaving Wednesday night. ;) Picking Elizabeth up off the floor now.;)

Although I never did totally unpack from last weekend in DE. I am working M-W and going from work to the airport. I also need to totally clean out my car before I go away as I am having the fender fixed. Most of the stuff in it belongs to my job, so I have to do that while there.

I spent all day cleaning at work so I have a clean space to dump all the crap from my car. :lmao:;) Most of that stuff is not going in my cubicle though.

I am also waiting for my new phone to arrive. I ordered it last weekend, it shipped yesterday from about 40 miles away, now it is 120 miles away so much for overnight shipping.:lmao: At least the shipping was free.

Jennifer- Hugs to you and your Dad.:wizard:

I loved Rent when I saw it, I hope you enjoy it Anne Marie.

Laura looks beautiful. I love the dress.

I can't do flip flops, but I love my crocs cleos. I live in those during the summer.

Becky, you need to find a day to decompress. We all need those days sometimes.
