Maybe I should try those-they mention that they are good for bunions with a wide toe box. I didn't bring my "regular" crocs on this trip. I had my croc flip flops that by the mid trip I started carrying into the parks and would put them on as we were headed out of the park. That worked pretty well. I couldn't wear them all day but they gave me some relief at the end of the day.I was having trouble with the same thing. I had had the cortisone shots and then I found out that Crocs have a style just for that problem. I love them. They are not a cure all, but they feel great. I have found that crocs just feel better all over. Yes I still have pain sometimes, but not so that I feel that I have to get any more cortisone shots right now. I don't want to even think about surgery cause that does not always end the problem. It can come back.

I'm finally home. What an incredibly long day. Hunter scored a goal in his game. I got to see itHis team did lose though
I rushed straight from the game to work and bartended for 3 1/2 hours. My feet are killing me from standing so long today. Tomorrow is another killer day.
I don't think she's had too much trouble since she got relief with whatever she did-it take a while for it to work but it did eventually work. She swears by her fit flops. I haven't tried those. If it's something that helped, I would like to know what it is. If I remember to keep my hamstrings and calf stretched, my foot pain does seem better. I think that I do need to stretch the foot, too. I guess it's a good thing that I'm not doing the Segway tour with them then.
You don't want to know what I paid for my Ecco sandals that I wore one time for dinner on my trip that gave me a blister. Thanks for the recommendation! I have been looking at Crocs, but I'm afraid to spend $50+ on shoes that I could end up hating. It's good to hear from someone who has experience. Mine isn't to the point of shots, but there are mornings that I really have difficulty.
How fun!!!Katie & I are going to see "Rent" today...can't wait.
Happy Birthday, Tia!
Bernadette, my foot felt OK yesterday, but I didn't walk much in the sandals. My foot actually feels best when I wear plain Crocs.I am not sure what shoes I'll bring to WDW.
Debbie, glad your dad is on the mend! Your surgery is Wednesday?
Anne Marie, DS would be SOOOO jealous. "Rent" isn't part of any of the seasons/series currently running here. We will see "Wicked" in June, but then we are finished with our subscription. I looked at Beauty & the Beast tickets but the really BAD seats were $50 each.I am not sure when they release the show listings for 2011.
Glad your Dad got to go home.Dad finally got to come home last night, during his procedure he got air in his chest cavity which in turn was compressing his lung.
Mine bothered me right away. I knew I should have returned them.Bernadette, my foot felt OK yesterday, but I didn't walk much in the sandals. My foot actually feels best when I wear plain Crocs.I am not sure what shoes I'll bring to WDW.
Yes Wednesday at 7 am, I know it sounds a little dramatic but I just finished typing a letter to DH, not that I expect anything to happen but there are so many things that I take care of that if he were left alone he probably wouldn't know where to start. I'll tell him where it is when we get to the hospital.

I am sure everything will be fine! But I can understand your concern. I think most DHs would be lost without their wives to handle things. Better to write the letter and have peace of mind, even though I am sure it wasn't necessary.

Debbie,I sure hope that your dh doesn't need that letter. I remember praying when I went in for my gallbladder surgery that nothing go wrong, because I hadn't had a chance to tell my parents that I was even having surgery. Any surgery is scary when you are going through it. Much
for you!
Anne Marie, I'm glad that you had a good time. I've always wanted to see Rent.
Here is Laura before the prom. I don't know how any of the others feel about me posting photos, so you just get her.

I'm not sure how I feel about flip flops. I think the piece between the toes would bother me, but I guess I could try. I wouldn't mind spending money on shoes if I knew that I would actually wear them and they would be comfortable. I have a pair of Tevas that I loved, but the last time I wore them, I got a blister on the bottom of my foot. That was painful. I don't know if I just need a new pair or what.I guess I need to figure it out soon, so I can get something broken in.
I agree.I think it is a smart move, Debbie. I would do the same thing.![]()
