Hi DDA

Quick post. I still have some dizziness, going back on Friday for another session of PT.

Stephanie is in the hospital and is staying overnight. She is having some tests done. She is doing okay and we will know more tomorrow. I will keep you posted.

Good thoughts headed north, Terry.    :huf:

thanks for the pep talks, girls! I know the finished product will be great, but I'm having a hard time seeing it, right now.

Bad news on the violin. It's not going to be a quick fix, at all! We need to send the violin off to have the bridge fitted to the violin. Not something we can do right now. So, Katie is going to have to use my full size violin for the rest of the year. We'll send off the 3/4 size and have it fixed (not cheap), and it will be ready for the twins to start on. Katie will rent to own a full size violin next year. She's been saving her money, and can rent to own a brand new violin (she will be the only owner) for 15 dollars a month. Alan and I have told her that if she can raise half the money, we'll match her the other half. So far, she's got almost 200 dollars saved, so we'll let her rent to own with that until it's gone. Thank heaven she's got some babysitting regulars!

I'm sorry that it couldn't be fixed  It's good that she's been saving towards something she wants. Nick wants to take guitar lessons next year so we may need to invest in that.

Glynis - Good luck with the dental work, I'm a huge chicken when it comes to the dentist. Sorry about the violin but congrats to Katie, my girls could never save any money.

Beth - good luck to Laura

Tammi - we took the KTTK tour in November, I booked with my AP but they never asked to see it when we arrived.

Well there's been some drama with my surgery, it's not going to happen on the 17th, the surgery center didn't want me to have it done there because of my other health problems, they felt it would be better to have it done in the hospital in case there were any problems. So I've been rescheduled for the 19th.

I'm sorry that it has been postponed, but at least it is only a couple of days. It is nice to know that you will be in a safer situation. You can never be to careful.

Terry - Ihope you are both on the mend soon, please keep us updated.

My dad is having his surgery this morning, he says it's nothing, but I think if it involves your heart it's something.

Terry - Lots of :wizard: for you and Stephanie. Please keep us posted.

Debbie - sorry to hear that your surgery was postponed. Luckily it's only 2 days. Good thoughts today for your dad!

Beth - Good luck to Laura!

Glynis - your smile will be so beautiful when all is said and done!

How perfectly said, Miss Tammi! Thanks!!! :goodvibes

Good morning, DDA! :sunny:

It's the most wonderfu ltime of the year (again)... recitals start tonight and run through June 10! I have a convention in Williamsburg smack dab in the middle of all of them so I have to take a break from June 2-5 and finish up waaaay later than I like.

Good morning. :)

Well, my parents are gone. It's so nice having them here, but their visit was just long enough.

Today I have lots of laundry to do. I also need to run to the grocery store.

The 19th still gives you time to heal before Disney, right?

Thanks for the news on Stephanie. I surely hope your PT goes ok. Do they know what's causing the dizziness?

Good morning, everyone! I'm in a much better mood today! That makes me happier!!!

Katie's concert was amazing, last night! It was so thrilling to see how far all the students have come. Katie has been in the beginning orchestra all year, and her teacher told me he's recommended that she skip the intermediate orchestra and jump straight into symphony orchestra as an 8th grader! She's beyond excited!!! She will have to work really hard this summer on her shifting and vibrato, but she swears she will do it! My niece, who is a state champion violinist, has offered to work with her this summer, so that will help a lot!

I'm hoping that the weather is nicer today, as Timothy and I have lots of errands to run! I need to get to the library today, as well as some clothes shopping, and then grocery shopping.

Alan showed me the planning he's done for our trip in 3 weeks, and I must say, it's going to either bring us closer together, or rip us apart! It's a lot of family togetherness. I'm just hoping the surprise visit to Disneyland will be the icing on the cake!!! I'm going to try to keep good notes and take tons of pictures!

Have a good day, everyone!

Terry, I hope your dizziness is gone soon!

Stephanie, lots of good thoughts and pixiedust:.

Debbie, I'm sorry that they changed your surgery, but at least it isn't too much later.

Elin, have fun with the busy season! I hope that it runs smoothly and that you have plenty of time to relax once it's done.

It's Wednesday...the day that I get all my kids back under my roof (at least for a little while)!

Cool! I wish they would have said what category the resort would be in. Sounds like a Moderate, or maybe even a value, since it's next to Pop.

I guess because they said "family suites," it appears that it will have the large icons, and it's where the other half of Pop was to open, I assumed value. Of course, we all know what it means to assume.

I'm going to throttle my son. He and his girlfriend made arrangements for her mom to pick them up today. We kept asking if they were sure there was enough room for all their stuff and said that we could make plans to drive up also. We were reassured that they were using the grandmother's van and everything would be fine. Guess who I got a phone call from this morning. The mother is bring the CRV, and now that all their stuff is in the common room together, they don't know if it will all fit. So, I may have to try to rearrange my whole day and drive the 3+ hour round trip after all. Not a problem if it were in the plans...bit of a problem with other things already planned.

I instant messaged with him yesterday afternoon, so he knows of the plans that I have for today. He never mentioned anything about need to fit in the smaller car then either.

Well, apparently the kid is just testing my sanity or wanted to give me an adrenaline rush this morning. He just called to say that they managed to wedge it all in the car, and he'll be home in a little under two hours.
