Yes Chanon's picture turned out great, I am not liking myself at the moment So no pictures of me.

Hunter thinks he might be feeling slightly better. He did eat a bit of toast for me and he's working on some water. Maybe we're over the hump. His stomach has been making very loud noise, kind of like a volcano errupting for hours now

I started doing a little spring cleaning. Riley said he didn't have any clean clothes(he has plenty but not what he cares to wear anymore ), so I told him that he is old enough to put a load in the wash himself & it worked Gary is cleaning the kitchen for me without any prompting, makes me wonder what is up

I will take all the help they want to give though!

Hunter had some toast and water then proceeded to expel it all. The poor kids is just a lump on the couch. I am waiting for our peds office to call back, but I really don't think there is anything they can do for him other than an iv and he is drinking just to avoid that.

One last post while I'm on my break. Are any of you going to be at Disney in October? Chuck & I are talking about going down on a Sunday and coming back on a Friday for the Food & Wine Festival. We haven't decided when yet.

Terry and I will be there Saturday October 2nd leaving Sunday October 3rd.

Good Morning.

Hunter isn't feeling much better. He isn't throwing up, but still is running if you know what I mean He's been able to keep down a bit of ginger ale and a few tiny popcicles. I forced him to eat 2 saltines and a couple of bites of chicken noodle soup this morning. He has zero fat reserves and I don't want to see him become dehydrated. He was getting pretty lethargic. He seems to have perked up a bit. He'll nap again soon then I'll force feed him again.

I forgot that I'm scheduled to work tomorrow, good thing I looked at my calendar. I have already warned the school that if Hunter is still sick I'll be home with him.

I sure hope he feels better soon Deb.

I will be there from October 1-10. Bob and Kristin will join me from the 8th-10th and Kathrin is considering a visit earlier in the week.

We'll be there the 2nd until the 3rd!!

Hello DDA!

I hope everyone had a good Easter. I would LOVE some cake. I forgot the pie from the freezer yesterday so didn't have any dessert at Easter dinner. Peach pie and banana pudding just weren't very tempting. I did come home and make some really yummy chocolate pudding and put bananas in that. It hit the spot, though cake would have been better.

Deb - I hope that Hunter is doing better ASAP.

Today has been a rough day. I didn't feel all that great most of yesterday and ended up taking a nap after Easter dinner. Then I just hung out an watched TV and the Red Sox game for the night. Add in a few over emotional moments and it wasn't smooth sailing. Then, I didn't sleep well at all last night. I was so tired this morning, couldn't get out to get the coffee I was really craving, had both little girls and then the TV stopped working. Luckily, Dad got the TV working again, but it wasn't until almost noon when he finally got up. It made for a tough time staying awake! Amazing what a short nap with do though. I slept for about 30 minutes with the baby after both girls were asleep and only woke up because the baby put my arm to sleep. I felt so much better after that! Then Kristi brought me lunch and the nourishment fixed me up right finally! Guess maybe I need to figure out some good breakfasts to get me moving as cereal and milk just isn't cutting it.

Tammi - How was Easter with your folks? I miss seeing the picture of Nicholas and Alyssa. Will you be posting one this year?

Elin and Janet - I'm jealous of your toes! It's still snowing here, so I don't dare bare my toes!

Well, last Thursday I got to spend the day with some dear friends, as their only daughter got married. It was April 1st, which I thought was a hilarious day to choose to get married. When we got there, it was snowing so hard, it was ridiculous! By the time the ceremony was over, the sun was out, and things were melting. Talk about your April Fool weather!!! The reception that night was beautiful! We were able to catch up with a lot of old friends and neighbors!

Friday morning Alan and I found out that another dear friend, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last Christmas, had passed away overnight. We weren't expecting it this soon, and it really hit Alan hard, as this was one of his dearest friends. He was only 49 years old. Paul leaves behind a wife, 4 daughters and a grandson. So sad!

Friday night we held our families annual Easter Egg hunt. It was so much fun! This was the first hunt Timothy participated in, and he wasn't too sure what he was supposed to do. Luckily, his big cousin, Alena, helped him get some candy and eggs into his bucket! Another niece and her husband, who own a rental business for bounce houses, brought one with them, so the kids had a great time bouncing. After a couple of hours, the snow started, so we all moved inside and had dinner. What a great potluck. There were about 80 people there, so we had a ton of food!!!

Saturday night we had a girl's night with the family where all girls 12 and older got together to play Bunco. This was Katie's first time to come, and she was really excited. She was even more excited when she won a prize! While the girls were all together, the men went out for a Chinese dinner. Good times were had by all. That night, we got all the kids in bed, and the Easter Bunny came. The tooth fairy also made a stop here, as Mary lost a tooth (with a little help from an accident with Katie). The tooth fairy brought her cash, and the Easter Bunny added gold coins as a bonus.

Yesterday was very beautiful here. The kids were happy with their baskets, and spent most of the day reading their new books, and watching their new movies. I made dinner and it was yummy. I put the ham in the crockpot and cooked it all day in apple cider mixed with maple syrup and lots of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves. I was worried it would be too sweet, but it turned out yummy! We also had yams, corn, roasted brussels sprouts, and a strawberry jello salad on a pretzel crust. I think the recipe was posted by someone here a while back. The kids LOVED it!!! After dinner, Alan banned me to the bedroom while he and the kids cleaned up. It felt really good to just relax for a while.

Today was the first day of spring break here, and it snowed again! Think spring will ever visit us? Or will we just go straight to summer??? Stay tuned! I took the kids to the library, and the store to spend some birthday cash, and then we came home so I could study and the baby could nap. Tonight Alan and I are going to Paul's viewing, and then out to dinner. Tomorrow morning is the funeral. It's so sad!

I hope you all are ready for some pictures, because I finally downloaded my camera and I have pictures from January to today! I'll be getting them up in FB and will post some here, as well!

My sister and I had a wonderful holiday.

My Dad always told me, never go to bed mad. I'm going to do him one better and ask you never to leave the house angry at your mate. Accidents happen all the time. I would really hate for your grief to be compounded with the last words that you said to each other be in anger.

Or disagreeable. You know what I mean.
