Yes you are correct, laparoscopic but he is also going to shave off the arthitis. Of course as we all know that is a temporary fix as there isn't much that can be done for arthitis.

Oh, no! I suppose they are doing laparoscopic surgery to repair the meniscus and medication for the arthritis? I hope is is a relatively painless outpatient procedure and you get to feeling better very soon, Heidi.

Debbie good thoughts for your MIL. :wizard:

Sorry you are still having trouble with your shoulder, shame you are not close to me, I would send you to my doctor.

Seeing as I don't have her email...

Thinking of you Kristine, miss seeing you on the thread.

A few days ago I posted about seeing a doctor about my left knee, had a MRI and saw him again today. I go for surgery this Fri, have a torn meniscus and arthirtis.

:wizard: for a fast recovery Heidi!

Good Morning

Heidi - I hope all goes well with your surgery

Sunday afternoon we went to visit my MIL, she hadn't been feeling well. When we got their she looked just awful, her color reminded me of my father when he had his heart attack. We convinced her to go to the emergency room, her blood pressure was 56/31, turns out she had a blood clot in her lung and has been in the hospital since. She is doing well and is hoping to come home today, but her blood pressure hasn't stabilized and her o2 level is running at 88 with oxygen and that has to improve first.

My shoulder has made zero improvement over the past two weeks and the pain has actually gotten worse, I go back to the doctor Tuesday and we'll see what he has to say, I'm thinking I'll be going for a MRI. Whatever we do it needs to happen quick, I need to be well or much closer to it before our July trip.

Lot's of hugs and PD all around :hug::hug::wizard:

Hope MIL is better soon & able to come home :wizard: A blood clot on the lung sounds scary.

Debbie I hope something is figured out with your shoulder, sorry to hear you are still in pain

Good morning :)

Yesterday was beautiful outside & it is suppose to be even warmer today & tomorrow, I am loving it! It is suppose to cool down this weekend though, with possible rain. Oh well as long as no snow is in there I am fine lol

The restaurant has been slow this week so I'm opting to be on call. That way I'll only have to go in if it is actually busy. That also buys me some time to get more carnival stuff done before Thursday nights meeting.

Lots of miscellaneous errands to run tomorrow. I am vvery happy with the amount of projects that I was able to complete today.

Sounds like a good plan - a chance to get things done if the work would be slow anyway.

Good Morning

Lots of :wizard: for your MIL. I hope they can get her levels back up soon.

Thank goodness you checked on your MIL when you did. And I'm glad she cooperated!

I'm so sorry to hear that your shoulder is getting worse. I can't imagine the pain you must be in. :wizard:

Debbie, I hope your MIL is better soon! Hopefully the Dr. will have some ideas for your shoulder! :wizard:

Good luck, Heidi! :wizard:

Don't forget to say "Rabbit, rabbit" tonight!

I'm so sorry to hear about you MIL. I'm glad that things are improving. A blood clot to the lung is very serious indeed.

I'm glad that you are going back to the doctors for you shoulder. Make your needs clear to him and hopefully you can get the tests that are needed. :wizard:

I'm not sure where time has gone this morning, but my to do list isn't shrinking so I'd better get moving. Have a great day DDA!!!

Debbie - sounds like you and your family really need the  :grouphug: and :wizard: How lucky you all went to see your MIL! Take care of yourself.

I get to see Tammi tomorrow or Friday! :yay: Getting our "weekends" to line up has been hard! :rotfl:

I am so glad her blood clot had settled in her lung and I am glad you went over to see her.

I hope get the answers you need for your shoulder. My mom had a frozen shoulder but it must not have been as baad as it only took a little bit of PT.

It's good to have you pop in, Theresa. How are you doing?

I have my okay days and my cruddy days...there doesn't seem to be anything in between. I have started applying for jobs again..I have one I really want...it's at a local high school (like walking distance)...the other one is at a school district over for a brand new elementary school opening up in the fall.

We have 6 weeks until Cassidy is a high school graduate:scared1: and Abi will be a freshman:scared1::scared1:

Next year the performing arts dept. is going to take a big trip to Boston/New York so we have started fundraising for it because there will be no way I can afford to send her by myself and I feel bad that Cassidy didn't get to go on her big trip (Europe). We have started with Tupperware and Elitch's(our local amusement park....used to be a 6 Flags property...sold to the highest bidder because it was the highest grossing property). My friend is a Tupperware consultant and is trying to get me to become one also....we'll see...depending on how well I/Abi does with the special Tupperware stuff. It is a great deal because some of it is exclusive to fundraising and the kids will get 40% of the selling price.
