DDA Chapter 25

Today has been one long day! I think I've come to a decision though that I'm going to let them know this week that I'm just about done with the comp shopping. It's just too hard to fit in after having the baby all day and then the kids in the evening. Plus, I was absolutely beat by the time I got done at Walmart. I was already thinking about giving it up by the time the baby came, but I think the time is now. Today, for example it was 14.5 hours from the time the baby got here this morning until I walked I clocked back out at Target tonight with no real breaks in between (other than laying on the couch with the computer at Kristi's, but still...).

Now I'm trying to wind down so that I can go to bed. Tomorrow's just the baby during the day and then all of the kids from 2 on as it's early release day. Somewhere in there we'll actually figure out the plans for Easter as well.

You are making me tired!

Good afternoon, everyone! Laura and Miles are off from school today, tomorrow, and all of next week. I am picking Matthew up tomorrow morning and taking him back on Easter Sunday, but at least he'll have a couple of days at home. I think we are going to visit my parents next week for a few days, though dh will stay home to work.

And best of all, the weather is absolutely gorgeous today and should stay that way at least through Saturday! It has been so cold and rainy for the last week, that this is a very welcome change.

I hope you are all doing well.

I got my car back on Tuesday night, which was a nice surprise as I was expecting it to take several more days.

I will be in FL May 19-24th.

I have no idea how I am going to convince myself to go to work tomorrow. It is going to be in the 80's and hardly any of my co-workers will be there as they opted to take the day off. I hope they let us out early.

Deb - What a lousy day. I hope you get the contact lens situation resolved quickly. Sounds like you have a mess on your hands there.

Becky - Yay for getting your car back! I think I would make certain I got off early tomorrow if I were you. I am also glad to hear that you are getting to go to FL next month!

I just realized that I go to WDW in three weeks! That is this month!!

Easter's not at our house!!! We're actually going to Erin's this time. Plus, the menu is more streamlined than usual and I only have to make one thing. Even better!!

Tonight turned out easier too as Chris got home early. After teh kids left I made an April Fool's dinner for Terra since she's been enjoying the recipes she found on playhousedisney.com. We had cupcakes that were actually meatloaf with pink mashed potatoes on top. And for dessert we had spaghetti with sauce which was actually cake with "spaghetti" icing and strawberry sauce. She was thrilled!!! (Rachel...not so much. )

Definitely turned out to be a decent day even though I did have to run to the store and exchange the maternity jeans I bought in a petite by accident. They are definitely in need now so it was a much do. I also found a cute shirt for Easter so even better. I really need some shorts, especially if it's going to insist on hitting 90 already, but otherwise should be pretty good on clothes unless I found some really good prices.

Tammi - Yeah for a new phone!

Becky - Great news about your trip! I know you've been trying to plan one for awhile! Hope you get off early tomorrow.

And, I think we also might be set on dates for our next trip. It won't be until next year, but I'm thinking that if we leave on Thanksgiving evening, we'll be able to stay for a full 10 days and make up for lost time. Terra seems quite pleased to have an actual date to plan for again - this has been too long in the making this time.
