Stephanie why did TSA keep the guidebooks?

A couple of you have asked about my ankle...I'll give the just ankle answer and than the general wellness answer.

my ankle is :confused3 it hurts sometimes and sometimes it's excruciating. Most of the time it's bearable.

Over all health TMI....it's that time of the month with extraordinary cramping and bleeding and some other stomach issues so it's been a very hard last couple of days.

Sorry you are not feeling your best Theresa.

DH and I decided we were going to take things at a much slower pace in July, which means we will have very few ADR's, we will be dining offsite a few times. But I feel like I'm not doing things right, no real plan? I know would drive you insane Elizabeth. Maybe I can start making some for November . . . .

Is everyone on board for the Treehouse cookout? We will have a vehicle so we can make a grocery run.

Looks like I'll have to make some calls Monday to see what's up with my referral, I don't want to drag this out, but we're making this trip whether I have one working arm or two.

Ok, all you creative people. Katie and I were just invited to an alphabet bridal shower. We were assigned the letter V. Can anyone think of things that we could get for a new bride that begin with the letter V? I've come up with vase, Vaseline, velvet. I need help!!!

We definitely want to have a BBQ. We found out today that friends of ours from here will be there too. Nick and their youngest daughter will want to hang out too. We will be going grocery shopping anyway so no problem there. I'm thinking burgers, hot dogs, chip, potato salad, watermelon, etc. I'm not sure of everyone's dates. I think the 19th - 22nd will work best for us, but could do the 17th or 18th if more people can make it. I've got my Mom to help with cooking too.

Vodka and Vicadin came to mind first :rotfl: Something victorian, visor, vest, votive candles, vacuum, veil, vacation, ventriliquist:rolleyes1

ETA: Chris just threw vibrator out there

We cleaned the wood furnace today, what a smelly, smokey mess. I had to shower after we finished as I couldn't stand the smell of myself. I needed to run errands and was not going anywhere in that state. It was a pretty quiet day otherwise. We've been talking a lot about our trip and everyone is excited.

Yuck, Deb! Not envious of that job at all! Glad it's over with for the time being at least. How often do you have to clean it out?

We had a good day. Terra had a lot of fun at Dandy Daisies this morning. She ran into a girl from her dance class last year and made a few new friends. I enjoyed my class as well. The rest of the day we just finished cleaning up for her party. As soon as Mom gets home with the oil, I'll bake the cake and then decorate it and the house in the morning. The weather is pretty nice so I think we're going to adapt a couple of games to playing outside. If I can find a flamingo pinata at the last minute somewhere I might get that too, heck I'll probably go for a generic one at least. She's always asking for a pinata, but it's so cold out usually. I feel so low key on this party and like I'm not doing much, but I think it will still go well. Terra is happy with everything so that's good enough for me.

I've got out of cleaning it all winter :rolleyes1 Chris and my brother clean it every 2 - 3 weeks. Not at all a fun job.

Tia I feel your pain on the party front. We are having the 8th graders and their parents over on tuesday night to assemble raffle baskets and signs. I know that only a small percentage of the class will actually show, but it still means cleaning the house. We're doing it here as I have most of the stuff in my basement and I didn't want to haul it somewhere else, just to bring it back until the raffle.

Thanks, Deb!

Funny! Alan came up with vibrator, too! I just don't think I'm comfortable with getting one for the girl who was our very first babysitter when she was 10 years old. There's just something icky about that! Tell him thanks, anyway!

Janet and I don't arrive until the 21st, we can get there pretty early but I'm not sure about Janet's arrival time. The menu sounds great, hopefully we can work things out so that everyone can be there.

Morning! It's finally another nice day! We are having a surprise lunch with all the family today for my grandmas birthday so it should be a good day

This would be great to get together....Our dates are 7/18-7/31. If Janet & Deb get in on the 21st, maybe we can do the 22nd? We will have our car so we can get supplies.:thumbsup2

As Anne Marie said, it sounds like the 22nd will work the best. Should we do lunch or dinner?

Debbie we are not making ADRs either. We haven't even planned park days, but I think we probably will do that. Fantasmic is not to be missed for us and it isn't offered everynight so we will plan around that, otherwise we'll go with the flow. My family really isn't big on Sit down meals, they can take them or leave them.

It sounds as if your plans for a Treehouse BBQ meet are coming along nicely for July! :goodvibes Wish we could be there too, but it will be wonderful to see pictures from your get-together!
