Hi DDA! :wave2:

I hope Stephanie, Vicki, and Jennifer are having magical Disney trips! :wizard:

Lots of empathy for those of you not feeling 100%. :grouphug:

I'm definitely having sinus issues, but since a Z-pack still hasn't helped me breathe again, I'm pretty sure this is end-of-pregnancy-related. It would be nice to be able to get more than a few hours of sleep, these last few nights before Sammy arrives, but I'm so stuffed up, I keep waking up. It's just easier to get up!

As of my last appointment yesterday, I'm 4 cm. dialated and 70% effaced. The doctor I saw yesterday doesn't think Sammy will wait around for my induction on Wednesday the 10th, but considering I walked around this way with Noah for a good week, I'm not so sure.

Alyssa claims she is very excited for Sammy to get here, and she wants to change diapers. I'm sure she'll change her tune when she sees his diapers and hears his crying. :goodvibes Of course, Matty wants to change Sammy's diapers, because Alyssa wants to. ;) Noah, meanwhile, has no opinions yet, but considering he's constantly pushing Matthew and Alyssa off my lap, I think he's going to have a tough time. :guilty: They aren't allowed to visit us in the hospital this time since there's still restrictions due to the flu and H1N1.

TGIF! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! The sun is supposed to shine in Cincinnati with temperatures reaching the 50's. I'm cautiously optimistic that spring will be here soon! Take care! :)

Good Morning,

Sorry you're not feeling well Amy, best wishes for Sammy's arrival

One more day and I've finally got a weekend off, still waiting for the ortho to set up my appointment.

Good morning. :)

Good for you, Jen, joining a gym. I would love to as well, now that I have more time off during the day.

I love it so far.. Another teacher and I go together so we can hold each other accountable.we go after work three or four times a week.. It's one of those women only places

good morning!!!!!

Another monkey wrench in my week. Colby was up several times during the night with the "runs". He thought he was feeling better this morning, but apparently he was wrong :sad2: My Dad works Fridays which means that I have to stay home with him. That means that I also have to cancel Nick's appointment for this morning with his guidance counselor for next year. As far as tonight at the restaurant goes I called this morning and they are putting me "on call" tonight. If it gets busy I'll go in, otherwise I'll be home. There was only 45 minutes that would be a problem so that sounds like the best solution. It is always somthing.

Hope you're feeling better! Terra is insistant that she wants to do all of these things to take care of the baby. Of course, when my new charge was here last week and cried when Terra tried to calm her down, she very quickly asked me to take her back. We're on for 50s this weekend too so hoping to enjoy it! I was hoping to hit the zoo tomorrow, but I've also got a birthday party to finish planning for Sunday so maybe not!

Sounds like a good plan! I wish I could figure out how to make a membership work with the schedule of things around here.

Thanks for the well wishes. Colby seems fine now. He hasn't had to run since 7 am. He has also been eating :confused3 Had I known this he could have gone to school. Oh well. I used the morning to clean our my emailbox. Wow do things pile up when you have 10 minutes per day to check them. I've also got laundry done, even a few extra load of coats. I plan to get the bathroom cleaned today too. It will be nice to get a few projects for this weekend done ahead of time.

Deb - Glad Colby is doing well. Maybe it was just your ticket to a catch up day at home, even though the money would have been nice.

Not much for us today. We've just been trying to finish getting things for Terra's party on Sunday. Plus, I have great need for a nap. That and getting frustrated with my Scout people (again). We are going to a Daisy event tomorrow. I'd been telling them about it since the beginning of the year and put it on the calendar then. When it came time to register, I had 4 out of 14 girls respond and want to go. We were waitlisted and then got into the morning session so I lost one girl on that, though that I understand. Then yesterday I called to confirm pick up times and was told another wasn't going. Today I get an email from the 3rd mom that her daughter changed her mind about going because her friends weren't going. I don't apologize for the fact that I sent a fairly polite response saying that was too bad especially since now Terra has to go by herself. I also emailed the troop offering the two spots up to anyone, again pointing out that due to cancellations Terra is going on her own. I am hoping (though not believing it will really happen) that it gets across the point that lack of participation and then cancellations from those who are supposed to be going, it only hurting the other girls - they don't have their friends along, don't have the large group of friends others have at events and, in some cases, a girl ends up having to go alone. It's about to drive me crazy!

Deb glad to hear Colby is feeling better.

ACCCK!!

If it's not one thing it's another....the girls toilet started overflowing...they got that stopped and Abi accidently dropped the lid on to the tank.....and broke it...all with just me at home. Jim is going to learn how to put a new tank on....I figure if my mom'sbungling husband can do it so can Jim.

Amy - Here's hoping you can get some sleep before Sammy arrives. I hope that all goes well with you and Sammy. Sounds like you might deliver sooner rather than later.

Jen - Good luck with the gym. It's always nice to have someone to be accountable to.

Deb - I'm glad that Colby is feeling better. Sounds like it turned into a pretty nice "mental health" day for you.

Tia - I'm so sorry that things wish the Scouts are not working out well for you and Terra! I hate the thought that she'll be left all alone because of these girls. Good luck!

Theresa - Sorry that things keep piling up for you. Good luck with Jim!

Well, Alan and I are leaving in about half an hour to see Alice in Wonderland! I'm so excited! I love Tim Burton! I love Johnny Depp! I love Helena Bonham Carter! This seems like a win/win for me! I'll let y'all know what I think when I get home!

What a mess (in more ways that one, I guess). Hope he can figure it out easily enough! Good luck and lots of hugs.

Have a blast Stephanie!!!

Stephanie - I hope you both have a magical trip!!!!!!

Have a magical trip, Stephanie!! :wizard:

Becky, feel better soon!

Tammi, good luck with the new contacts! DS goes for an eye exam at the end of the month. Not sure if he is going to give contacts a try or not.

I missed Stephanie, but they will have a great time.

I know I missed you, Stephanie... but I hope you enjoy seeing WDW through new eyes on this trip. He is going to love it!! It promises to be MAGICAL!

I don't see the one thing I forgot in December-PJ's. Maybe you don't use them. I had to go buy some since I was sharing the room with Ralph.:rotfl: Which reminds me-maybe it will be warm enough soon so I can wear my new Tink PJ pants here in MA.

I also don't see dimes on your pressed coin list. I read there are new dime machines in the shop at Space Mountain exit. Can't wait to see those.

I know you'll have a very magical trip!!!!:yay:

:wizard:Good luck!!! I don't think I could do it. I tried ones for a stigmatism and couldn't do those. Are you doing one eye for distance and one for reading or do the contacts have both scripts in them?

:eek:I have had progressives glasses for over 6 years and still not used to them. I could NEVER do progressive contacts.

Another very grey day here. Off and on snow flurries. It is in the mid 30s but feels so raw and cold. We might see sun tomorrow. My nieghbors witch hazel is blooming so at least one small sign of spring.

hi everyone-
I hate my computer being in the shop--i dont get to check in! Steffy-have a great trip!!!!!

Everything here is good---i joined a gym so we will see what happens haha..

Thanks everyone!!! We are having a good time. Yesterday my DGS was overly tired and after traveling, had a meltdown. However today was great. I really wish his guidebooks were here instead of with TSA and Homeland Security, but it is what it is.

It was great seeing Vicki and Chuck. Hope to run into Jen, Kyle and the girls tomorrow. Saturday is definetly sleep in day. My DGS was so tired he could barely walk up the hill from the bus stop. I'm going to sleep as soon as I update Fb. Nite all.

Just got back from Alice in Wonderland. My overall review is favorable! It started out slowly, but once she got to Wonderland, it was marvelous!! Characters were great, animation was wonderful, dialogue (in Wonderland) was fabulous! We didn't see it in 3-D, as that gives me a headache, but I really enjoyed it in 2-D! I know we'll be taking the kids to see it after a while because there really wasn't anything too scary. Alice fights the Jabberwocky, but the dragon fights in Harry Potter were scarier than this. I know that Santa will be getting me this movie next Christmas!!!

Anyone else see it??

It really is always something, toilets are pretty simple to repair so Jim shouldn't have any trouble. How's your ankle?

Glad you're having a good time

Good morning, DDA! I'm off to get showered and then take Terra to her event. After that it's Kaylin and party prep. With party prep needs I had to say no to our original plan to go to the zoo today, but I'm sure it was the right choice for stress and fatigue levels. Phil is still brining me Ted Drewes frozen custard though and we'll go to the zoo on Monday since I have no kids so all is good! Have a great Saturday everyone!
