Good morning. Here's hoping you all have more normal days from now on!
Stephanie - I'm so sorry about your bed. Did you find out the cause?
Elin - Recitals early sounds like a very good thing! Scary about the roofs collapsing!
Elizabeth - Sounds like you have a day at home, for the most part, today. Glad DH isn't out on the roads! That's always a worry. Alan's always out in all kinds of weather, and I worry about the other crazy drivers plowing into him!
Tammi - Good luck on Monday! Do you think the school district will do that? It sounds like it would be a good solution. President's day is kind of an odd day off, anyway!
Beth - Glad your party went well yesterday, tantrum notwithstanding!
I get to go bowling this morning, and then back home. I've got to do some online training for Scouts, and then take a test for my class. The work is getting more and more tricky, so I'm taking more and more time. Not good! I'm supposed to be done with the class by April 1, and I don't think I'm going to make it! Wish me luck with that!
Alan and I are going out for Valentine's day tonight. We were going to go tomorrow night, but a neighbor really needs Katie to babysit tomorrow night, and we're easy, so tonight it is! Don't know where we're going or what we'll be doing, but it will be fun to go out!
Tomorrow, we are off to IKEA to get Katie a desk chair, and some more bookshelves, and then we're finally taking the kids to see "The Princess and the Frog." They are all really excited! It opens at the dollar theater today, so that's our Valentine gift to the kids!
I got Katie's schedule hammered out with her counselor yesterday. Barring any misfortune, she will have Academy English, Academy Utah History, Academy Science, Algebra 1, Health, P.E., Intermediate Orchestra, Spanish 1, half a year of Drama and half a year of Creative writing. She's pretty exited about the schedule.
Have a great day everyone! Stay toasty warm!
