Wish I could say "good morning" but it's definitely NOT! We have a nasty freezing rain going on outside, that's supposed to turn into snow! I have to take the kids to play practice in an hour, and I don't wanna!

Jen - I hope Olivia feels better, and that no one else gets it! I hate strep! Good luck disinfecting the house!

Anne Marie and Tammi - Good luck with the science fair! Katie did her project already, and no one else is scheduled to do a project until next year. Katie does have to do a history fair project, but I haven't heard anything about it, yet.

Good morning, DDA!

Yesterday was crazy crazy around here with Terra, Kristi's 3 and my original charge who is now 18 months and everywhere! The good news is her mom might have at least a temp or part-time job soon so I'll have her some.

Today = not any better as dance/Scouts/dance day is always a crazy one. I also have to get to my comp shopping sometime today or tomorrow. On the good side, though, I get to go meet my new baby today!! She and mom were sleeping yesterday when we stopped by with a gift and lasagna, but she really wants me to come over today and often while she's on leave. That whole right-next-door thing comes in handy!

Tomorrow finally looks slower so hopefully I'll get to come and check in a little more actively!

Thanks, Elin! It was crazy driving, I'll tell you!!! Luckily, I only had to go to the school and back. It was enough to convince me to make do with things here at the house. I'm not going back out there!

Anyone heard from Theresa lately? I'm getting a bit worried!

More science fair on tap for today. I have to go & find a strong U shaped magnet for Daniel's project..not sure where you get one of those...Katie wants to go to Hollister to spend her Christmas/birthday money.

Hello, DDA! Sorry I have been so remiss in my posting lately. It's been extra busy around here. And I can't stay now, because I have a ton of computer work that I have to do for preschool (posters, registration packets, etc.)

I've spent the entire day working on soliciting donations for the 8th grade fundraiser. So far I've completed a bunch of online applications. Now I need to start addressing written requests. I certainly hope that my time pays off in the long run.

Hello, DDA! Sorry I have been so remiss in my posting lately. It's been extra busy around here. And I can't stay now, because I have a ton of computer work that I have to do for preschool (posters, registration packets, etc.)

Tammi- Loved your trip report and pics!!! And I feel horrible for missing your birthday!! So Happy Belated Birthday!!

Jennifer- I hope the girls feel better sooner rather than later.

Guess what?!?!!























I got the position at the center right around the corner from my house!!!!! Actually, I was to interview for an Infant & Toddler lead, but they called me an hour before the interview and told I was short the "experience" and 1 certification class. But they wanted me to bring in my college transcript and basic certifications so they could add it to my resume. I did that yesterday morning and briefly, like all of 5 minutes, talked to the director. She said she'd hold onto my resume and call me when they had something available. I was a bit sad, but imagine my surprise when I got a phone call yesterday afternoon offering me a 4 year old teaching assistant spot. It is not as much money, but the money saved on gas and commuting will be worth it!!! I start February 8th. So I get a few more days to enjoy the girls and what not!!
