The boys have a snow day! It has been coming down since 6 last night. We are under a winter storm watch till 6am tomorrow. All vehicles are to be off the streets or they will be towed.

I was going to take the tree down yesterday but got called into work, so now the boys can help today. Yay, they will be so thrilled lol

morning! I have a day of meetings and workshops and teaching today! When I get home Ill finish packing..we leave tomororw morning--of course, were suppoesd to get some snow overnight so keep your fingers crossed!

I fear that no one is escaping the cold weather! Is there anyone on here that is not having unseasonable temps? Poor Tammi and her family. They are also having cold weather this week. Only good thing is that it is warmer than it is here at home.

Same goes for you, Jen! Dallas will be cold, but not as cold as New Jersey! I hope you get out before the snow.

Kathrin never had science fairs. Kristin did. And she came up with the ideas for them by herself and completed them with very little input from us. Thank goodness.

Vicki, we aren't getting in until 3:00 or so on Friday. What day were you going to eat at T-Rex? My grandson is not the one to keep going like the Energizer bunny. He can and will fall asleep anywhere. I think Friday might be a good T-Rex day for us finished by a good resort evening, swim, look at animals, get to bed for a fun filled day Saturday.

He has a hopper so if you wanted to start Saturday at EPCOT or MK and end the day at the other park, we are so with you.

Anne Marie, keep checking back. One link I clicked (directly through the Disney site) said opportunities are only listed for the next 60 days, so I got the impression that it will update. The things I looked at from the volunteering site had a wider variety to choose from, but not much for kids. I don't think we are going to knock our brains out to meet the guidelines for the ticket. We aren't renewing our APs this year and the tickets expire I think 12/15/10. Since they are non-transferrable we can't do much with them. If we want to volunteer we can help with the AIDS walk or the breast cancer walk in October and not worry about the free ticket.

I think they must. When I was inputting the original day we chose for the baby shower, it wouldn't let me as is was more than 60 days out. We just moved the date, instead of waiting. That way we're moving forward and I don't forget to go back closer to the time.

Good morning, DDA! I'm feeling a little out of the loop without much computer time so far this week. Monday we subbed preschool, Tuesdays are just crazy with Scouts and dance stuff then yesterday I had Kassie on top of Chase and Terra as she'd been sick the night before. With my car out of commission once again I had to use mom's for errands and the circuit of work/school drop off and pick ups and there went my day! Not sure what's wrong with my car...when I stick the key in the ignition I get the ding, ding, ding of the seat belt warning, interior lights, everything seeming normal. Then, when I turn the key, it all shuts off and there's a big pile of nothing happening. It's almost like there is a short somewhere or something. I am hoping that once we ever get back out of these teens and single digits, something will improve and I'll at least be able to start it. SOOOO do not need another repair joining the list of those things waiting for money to accomplish.

Right now though, it's snow shovelling time! Actually, with any luck it will just be snow sweeping time. There are several inches, but I think the push broom will work just as well, and easier, than the shovel with this snow. Besides, Terra might just have a panic attack if she doesn't get to go out in the snow soon. Wonder how long she'll last in the negative wind chills? (Now let's hope that the 5T snowsuit still fits - it's really quite long so I think it will be fine.)

DS was hoping for a school closure but we were not even close to schools being closed. It is 26 here now, with some icy patches on the roads.

Stephanie, I hope you find some good airfare! Feel better soon!

I have a HUGE grocery list AND I have to go pick up cookies from the bakery. Pixie is going to be frozen by the time we finish. I HATE that we have to go out today. Absolutely HATE it.

I woke up to no internet and no land line phone. Called in a repair order and it will be fixed by MONDAY NIGHT!
I am going to cancel our bundle with AT&T because that is unacceptable. They want to wait NINETY SIX HOURS to restore my service? Um, no way. EVERY FLIPPIN' TIME this happens they give themselves this ridiculous window for restoring our service. I will make it easy for them - I will switch internet providers.

It will be on the beach. Just hope it is not too stinking cold!!!

We've got cold weather here too and it's supposed to get worse each day. I'm not going out today so I guess I'm kind of hibernating We are expecting snow this weekend. I do feel sorry for Tammi and Family. It must be cold on the outdoor rides and any water rides would just be too cold. I guess I won't complain about the hot summer temperatures as we are able to enjoy everything.
