What is up with this wind? The wind was so loud it woke me up this morning! It didn't rattle my windows, the sound of the wind woke me up.

Thank you all for the wonderful holiday cards.

The next phase from me will go out today. I had some addresses in one book, and then some addresses in another place. Then I ran out of cards and had to get some more. So they are on the way!

Elizabeth - I am starting to feel your pain. The forecast for our days in WDW is rain! It's still over a week away, so hopefully it will change. For the better.

Nice Weather

No pictures, I fear! But maybe Laura (RachelTori) will post some I can lift.

Here is what I remember about the space: When you enter the space from the front door you are in the dining area. Long table with 4 (?) nice chairs and a bench. Off to the right was a hallway with a BR containing a set of bunk beds and a bathroom. Straight ahead of you is the living room and the kitchen opens into the DR and LR areas. Lots of high ceilings and glass. Although it was a dark kitchen (I think black appliances??) it was airy feeling. If you continue around the outside perimeter of the villa you come to a second BR with a King bed (I think) and finally the Master BR with a King. The Master Bath has amazing hardware... black wrought-iron like what you would find in a blacksmith shop! The vanity and toilet area are in one part and the shower and large tub (jetted??) are all one area enclosed completely in glass. There is a window in that area that has etched glass. Very, VERY pretty.

Thanks for the picture links. We are excited. It seems perfect for our family as it combines our love of camping with our love of Disney. We've done the campground and the Fort Wilderness Cabins and loved those. Actually we've never had WDW accommodations that we hated.

DVC members - do any of you do the online check-in? What is the benefit of it? I like going to the counter so I can request a different location/room if I'm not satisfied with the location of the given room. Also, what do I need to know about concierge check-in?

The day after is nothing. They had the Valentine's stuff out on Christmas Even morning here. I couldn't believe it.

I saw Cadbury Easter Eggs in our walmart on Christmas Eve! I almost bought one to show Alan, but just couldn't bring myself to do it!

I do not do online check-in, just because. I don't have a REASON. Supposedly it shortens the time you wait to check in, but honestly, I never noticed a separate line at AKL. So theoretically it MIGHT shorten your time at the window once it is your turn.

In December we didn't do it because we wanted to use a different card than the one we had on file and I figured that would befuddle them.

Concierge check-in has a podium outside (by the Valet desk), but if you go to the Bell Desk inside they will call somebody to take you up for check-in. You bypass the line downstairs entirely, but you have to be escorted up since the 6th floor is key card access only.

There are only 5 concierge studios, so if you don't like the one they give you it is probably going to be tough cookies.

We have a Value 1 bedroom for June. Since there are only 10 of those I imagine we will be in the same "tough cookie" boat for room location.

I am pretty excited but its going to be a tough game.but i am so excited to watch it..i have a feeling that you guys will be able to hear me yelling at the tv .My dad will be there (i am so jealous!!).

My dad did just tell me that if we get any dallas home games, i am going to the playoffs with him!
