Tomorrow I am planning to start weaning myself off the Prozac. Now that things have calmed down I feel really spacey and I'm guessing that is why. Maybe it's just this dang cold that is hanging on, but I shouldn't need the meds anymore.

Debbie cute picture!

Tammi sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas :goodvibes

Vicki you will love the Flower & Garden festival!

Deb good luck taking yourself off the prozac :wizard:

It has been snowing since Christmas day & it just keeps coming! I would not mind so much if I could just stay home. This digging myself out of the driveway is getting old lol

Lindsay thank you for the card & Austin is perfect, so handsome :cloud9:

A week ago today we were blanketed with over a foot of snow. All that is left today are the leftover piles of it from plowing or shoveling. Hopefully it will stop for you!

Good morning!
Our snow is pretty much all gone--it rained all day yesterday. Today is a big football day! I have games I want to watch at 1, 4, 8! Love football days :)

Ugg sickies be gone.

I was supposed to work today because I have new years eve off. I had to call in. Olivia came home yesterday complaining of a sore throat and slight fever. It looks like she has white patches on her throat. She has an appt. at 12:30 to see the Dr.

Virginia woke up around 730 and said she was thirsty. I make her some milk, she drinks all and you can guess what happens. All of it plus what she drank right before bed last night.

Top it off with me having an allergy Headache.

Yuck, sounds like strep throat. Hope you both feel better soon!

Tammi I hope this stops soon myself, enough already lol

Kristine are you getting dumped with a lot of snow as well, hope Bill is not freaking to much ;)

Happy shopping, Elizabeth!

So, we did end up going to midnight Mass. It was really nice, and once things started the kids got their second wind. By the time we got home it was 1:30something. The best part was that I arranged for Santa to come while we were out. When the kids walked into the house and saw all the presents they we sooooo excited. I let them each pick one thing to open. Nicholas opened a Star Wars Lego set and Alyssa chose her stocking. Santa always brings them an ornament each year, to signify an event of the past year. The one they each got this year was a doggie ornament, a dog bone that was personalized. It said "Shane & Peanut, Always Remember.......2009". Alyssa became so emotional and started crying. I told her SAnta didn't want her to be sad, but to think of them every year and remember the happy times as we decorate the tree. I think I finally got everyone in bed a little after 2. By 8:30 everyone was up, Bob came over, and we started opening presents. Santa got an A+ this year. Everyone really seemed to enjoy what they got. We played Band Hero for quite awhile. I'll admit, it's addicting. I shoulda been a rock star. ;) Bob got me some Donna Karan perfume, a Jim Shore Sorcerer Mickey and a 4 remote battery charger for the Wii. AFter presents we ate French Toast Bake and played all day until dinner time. I had a spiral ham, and all the usual Christmas fixings. The kids went over to their dad's at 4 to get more presents. They will be home tomorrow night. This was the best Christmas I've had in a long time. :goodvibes:

Sounds like a great day, Tammi!

Good morning, DDA! Just doing a quick catch up before going to play some Wii with Terra for a little bit. Then I've got to head to work. Two more days of cashiering this week and I'm done. The check from those two almost 40 hour weeks mid-month is going to come in handy though. It's got Scout Camp, dance costumes and new shoes to pay for.

Speaking of new shoes, I've got to make it a priority to get Terra new sneakers this week. Hers are an 11 1/2. I knew they were getting too small, but she hasn't complained at all either. I bought her boots at work yesterday and decided to get a 13 figuring they'd be a little big and would last longer. Nope. Her toe is almost at the end so back to the store for a size 1. She still claims her sneakers don't hurt, but I think we'll still be getting them changed ASAP.

:wizard:Jennifer I hope the girls feel better quickly:wizard::wizard:

We're getting rain. It is super foggy so I'm sure most of our snow will be gone. That kind of stinks because snowboarding starts next Sunday. Maybe we'll get a storm by then.

unfortunately, YES!! The shoveling crew has been coming multiple times per day...and it's still not enough. Bill is oddly calm...hope he's not sick :rotfl2:

Luckily the temp went up a little so the ice we got is almost all gone.

Becky has decided she wants me to return the Lego set I got for her. Mom had given me some money for the Legos as well. I was going to take her clothes shopping as well. She knows she has about $180 to shop with. She just called and was wondering if she could get the Wii as her gift.

Chuck & I had decided not to get the Wii. However, I am thinking we really should have it to get us active. So...I think I'm buying a Wii this afternoon. She gets off work at 2pm and I'm supposed to meet her there. For those that have it, what else would we need to enjoy it?
