It's sounding like the DDA meet was a lot of fun. I'm sorry I missed it. :(

In the words of Stephanie.........

4 more weeks, people!!!!!!!!!!!

Becky good thoughts for your friend and Mason.

Good morning. Or eh, I think just Mornin' should cover it! Blech, I HATE the rain. Makes me grumpy. And the girls are miserable and yep, gonna be a long day!!

I have my final tonight for my class (I need to study!!!). I also need to present 2 lessons in class before the final so I need to pull the supplies together for those. Once it's over I'll be certified as a senior staff for daycare or a preschool teacher. And hopefully a job won't be far behind.

This afternoon Lu and I will go to the girls' school so I can see Em perform in the winter concert. The official one is tonight but I'll miss it due to my class.

Deb- Continued :wizard: and 's

Bernadette- So sorry you, Joe and Emma are still feeling under the weather. :wizard:

Anne Marie- Hope today finds you a bit better.:wizard:

Becky- lots of :wizard:for your friends and baby Mason.

Tammi- Did you get your furnace looked at?

Kristine- Really, why on earth would you not want to go into the store in your fuzzy lounge pants?!?!?

Elizabeth- I hope you and the girls settle into a routine quickly.

Tammi- Did you get your furnace looked at? .
He's coming this afternoon. With the kids in school and me working the past two days it hasn't been bad dealing with the cold. I would turn the fireplace on while we were eating and then afterwards we'd go upstairs where the heat pump is still running. Thank goodness it's still warm up there!

Good luck on your final tonight!

Janet and Kristine - did you survive the storm?? Or, more importantly, did Bill survive?

Morning.

We are now in the heart of that nasty snowstorm. Our accumulation totals have changed and we could get up to a foot of snow :headache: Colby and Nick are happy since school was cancelled. Colby is actually out playing in it :confused3 Hunter is still sleeping. Both of us seem to be waking multiple times a night the closer we get to surgery. Part of me can't wait for the surgery to be over with and the other part fears what might be the results :sad2:

If you could keep my friends and their son Mason in your prayers that would be appreciated. Amber went in yesterday for a standard non-stress test. She ended up delivering Mason yesterday via emergency c-section about a month early.

They knew head of time that some of his intestines would be outside of his chest. So he had surgery to repair that early this morning. The doctors are positive about his prognosis but any positive thoughts are appreciated for the whole family.

Will do!

I'm home. It was great seeing everyone! Wish we could have spent more time together! I have to say I was actually ready to come home. It was really hard to leave Emma. The weather was a mixed bag. I got sick.

When I got home I found out that DH didn't send Emma to school at all when I was gone. He didn't think he should send her while she was on an antibiotic. When I talked to him on the phone he would keep telling me he was going to send her the next day. Then I found out this morning that even though I told him the dosing of 3 times a day meant morning, noon & night NOT every 8 hours he still went by the 8 hour thing so she only got 3 doses two days I was gone-every other day was only 2.:headache: Emma had a follow up appointment today and I went with them. He did ask the doctor about the 3 times a day thing today-why didn't he ask when he took her last Tuesday????? Anyways...she is doing well-still has a cough. She needs to have another chest xray a month after her first one.

On Friday I got a call from the school nurse that Joe was sick. She couldn't reach DH. By the time I got a hold of him he was already on his way to get Joe. He took Joe to the doctor Saturday and he had an ear infection and the flu. They did a nebulizer treatment in the doctor's office and by the time they got home Joe had an alergic reaction to the albuterol. He did ok with benedryl. He's on an antibiotic and tamiflu. He seemed pretty good by the time I got home Monday.

I am so exhausted. I really need to go to bed.

I'm glad you had a good time. I hope you all feel better!

I hope it's an easy and cheap fix.

I'm loving all the cards. :goodvibes

Have a good day everyone!

No thanks. It's 50 and sunny here!

Janet and Kristine - did you survive the storm?? Or, more importantly, did Bill survive?

Not sure about Kristine but we did not get hit as hard as predicted last night. Now it is windy & very cold with light snow coming down.

The boys of course were bummed that they had to go to school ;)

Sounds like we are all dealing with some degree of cold, brrrr!

Robyn good luck tonight!

Deb
